  • Learn Thai: 44 Thai consonants in Thai alphabet! /Thai Times with Joy.
Note: A letter (ตัวอักษร: dtua àk-sŏn) is a symbol we use to write a language, including the vowels. In Thai language, the consonants and vowels are grouped separately.
An alphabet (ชุดตัวอักษร: chúd dtua àk-sŏn) is a set of letters. It means a set of ก - ฮ.
A consonant (พยัญชนะ: pá-yan-chá-ná) is a speech sound that is not a vowel. It also refers to letters of the alphabet. We have 44 consonants in Thai alphabet!

Love your manner of teaching. Why teach obsolete consonants? When blends dt and bp occur which is the sound, fist or second letter?

I really like this video. It is very clear to understand. If this video can have common (art) font that Thai people usually use, then it would be easier to remember them both. The learning problem is the way we learn is different from the font we see on the advertisement or on TV, etc. Thank you very much.
