You all probably dont care but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Canaan Brixton thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Thank for doing these, but please don't stop the twenty one pilots reactions! I have some suggestions: -"Friend, Please" -"Air Catcher" (Alternate Version) -The Trench Trilogy ("Jumpsuit", "Levitate" and "Nico And The Niners")
Sad it's over, but so glad you did this. And for real, I'm with you that I don't prefer one session over another; just appreciate what each brings. The technicality of these sessions in particular are on point.
TheThirdErnest For real. I’ve been a fan of both bands for a while and could see how two such talented groups could colab. Still, I was shocked (and delighted) at how seamlessly they integrated their sounds, represented the original songs well, AND let each person shine. It’s legit mind blowing.
“Bruh, I’m tired!” 😂 I feel ya man! Mute math are crazy creatives! Their drummer is world class among drummers. Lead singer is a beast if left alone in a room full of instruments and a loop machine!
Lifelong musician here, mainly drummer: When you said you can't even think about how drummers/musicians think about things like playing off beat etc., the answer is we don't think about it. We practice things endlessly until it's ingrained in our minds so that we can just do it without thinking about it. If I try to think about what I'm playing or about to play, I psych myself out and usually end up messing up.
what up. Just wanted to give you some props. I'm here from the Mutemath official FB group. (The FamBase). And we have been watching your videos here since you began these sessions. Specifically, I've been doing reaction videos to your reaction videos! and then posting them! haha. It's been so much fun. Great job! and I just want to give you a lot of respect for this channel but also real recognizing real! and additionally, what you had to say in this video about "I could've done that" but you didn't. that was so fire. You are the man. Thank you for these and I (we) hope you react to or check out some more Mutemath at some point.
Hey Greg, I just went and watched your 4 reaction videos on the basis of this comment. Gave me an excuse to listen to TØPxMM and Ernest’s reactions again, with a bonus extra dimension! It was this session video/EP that first introduced me to Mutemath. I was intrigued by their sound and went right back to all their past albums - had them on repeat then for about 3 months solid. I remember listening to Play Dead when it first came out and being excited that I got to hear something new of theirs, but then sadly... seems I got into them just at the wrong time. Anyway, it was great to see this from the perspectives of both fandoms. Let’s hope our boy Ernest goes down the rabbit hole too (and inevitably acknowledges that Darren is so much better than Josh).
@@aleinweber99 yeah I know I eagerly waited for them but I mean he could watch the Live Version of the TØPXMM SESSIONS if he wants it just hits differently in my opinion seeing the reaction of the crowd and all
Are we not gonna mention Darren's little bunny hop after drumming so hard and almost falling off his stool at 13:44 ? Makes me chuckle each time I see it. Glad you got introduced to Mutemath. I was a fan of MM since Paul's Earthsuit days. I discovered TOP later on and then when I saw they did a collab I freaked! Couldn't think of anyone more perfect to collab with each other. Good stuff!
Early bird! And this is my favorite TOP performance. I absolutely love how passionate we all can get when listening to this. My heartbeat goes crazy watching this.
I hope you do more top stuff. It makes me so happy how you talk about them. Every one loves to hate them but they are pure talent and no one can say otherwise. Love your videos
Mutemath is an EDM band, that's where that influence is coming from. Also, the line is "but will they be alive tomorrow" ..... LOVE this song, and your reactions!!!!!
This video reminded me of why I LOVE twenty one pilots. They use interesting/awesome instruments in the most "random" spots which makes the songs perfect. And sometimes it's just that one note/instrument that you didn't hear in the first 50 times you listened the song, but when you hear it, you fall in love with the song again. Also Blurryface is the first and only whole album ever where I also like to listen to the "instrumental only" versions, it's just SO GOOD. Also the way Tyler plays with his voice is AWESOME. I just fuckin LOVE these dudes 😄😄
That drum section at the end, so awesome. A lot of times, the drummers would feel like they’re dueling, in this case, it felt like they were feeding each other, it was awesome.
It ain’t TøP if you’re not overstimulated and exhausted by the end of a set! I love love love your reactions. You are hands down the best reaction channel on RUclips and I’m shocked that you don’t have millions of views on all of your vids. Twenty one Pilots is how I discovered you in the first place, and they’re definitely my favourite reactions from you! I’ve really enjoyed these MM sessions and watch one every morning when I’m getting ready for work- you make your videos so interactive it feels like I’m starting the day having a great conversation about music with a good friend. Would love to see you react to some songs from Regional At Best in the future!! Kitchen Sink Glowing Eyes Lovely Forest
I’m right there with you on the small details. They stand out so much to me when they often go over everyone elses heads. It’s the the little things 👌🏼
It’s a shame that Mutemath is disbanded, they’re musical ability was just like no other. Glad I came across the critique and commentary. Definitely recommend watching or critiquing Mutemath’s discography. Great channel, much love!
Please continue doing TOP songs. Every one is fire. I saw them in San Antonio this past summer...I would have loved to have brought you along and we could have both watched them live for the first time. I was speechless the whole time. Everyone is friends at their concerts. It was like another wonderful world. So awesome.
I've been trying to nail the drum part to Lane Boy for like 4 months already. It's all fine until you have to put it all together at 160 bpm. But I finally feel like I'm getting there. Thanks for another fire video, always a pleasure to watch
That Drum bit was insane, if you want to see more of Josh’s drumming in the spotlight, I highly recommend watching the live performance of their song, ‘Morph!’
I knew that the last part going blow your mind 🤭 I can give you suggestions for another TOP reaction ➡️ "twenty one pilots - Fall away (ft. Dr. Blum of MisterWives) [Live]" it's from first album and you need watch this live version because it's have some nice trumpet solo section 🤟🎺
Much respect to not only your ability to notice the details, but your appreciation of the details! They are part of what makes Mutemath and TOP pure ambrosia for the soul.
I was skeptical about TØP because of the hype around them, but being a long time Mutemath fan, after seeing this session, I became a really hard TØP fan as well
I love tøp to death. Tyler’s creativity with song writing is amazing and Josh’s drumming off beat is outstanding. I know this is a little switch but check out avenged sevenfold critical acclaim or afterlife. The drummer (the rev) who passed years ago. Is wild on the drums and sings as well! Keep up the amazing content!
Just wanted to say I love the way you toss your headphones to the side when you’re done. It’s a mood. 😁 These were a fun ride, Ernest. Thanks for helping me to experience the joy of discovery all over again through your eyes. -one Mutemath fan to you, a new Mutemath fan 😉
Thanks for doing all these videos TOP is my favorite band but I never let myself get into the MM sessions and you did that for me and you highlight all these little things that are amazing I may not. Anyways awesome stuff as usual your my favorite reaction or breakdown channel my dude!!
This song always makes me lose my mind (original, live and this version) during the "cavalry" part, the way Josh makes it so that a horses running noise pattern can be heard. Fucking crazy.
i'm so glad you reacted to these, they're so amazing but always get so overlooked. please react to more live top!! i recommend all of the fox theater videos!!
Please watch Fall Away live ft. Dr. Blum of MisterWives. If I was asked which live performance I wish I'd experienced, I'd choose to be somewhere in this crowd.
Just dropping in to say the line before the drop is actually "will they be alive tomorrow?" because Tyler's questioning if he should even listen to people whose opinion won't even matter in the future.
Love your reactions you’re awesome!! Can you do a series on the behind the scenes for the music videos? Especially the behind the scenes for Heavydirtysoul you would love it!
