When he goes into that scream, too me, it went from a fun question of can you save my heavy dirty soul to to a desperate, pleading sound like he was begging not to die.
This Version is one of my favorite reversion probably because of the "CAN YOU SAVE, CAN YOU SAVE MY SAVE MY, can you save my heavydirtysoul"
When you were talking about him singing and rapping and how its hard to sing something that was originally a rap, i immediately thought of tyler singing holding onto you at SiriusXM and just how beautiful and poetic he made the rap sound... i would recommend listening to the studio version first but please watch him playing it at siriusxm. I have no doubt you will love it :) great video too by the way

This one really got me hyped because of the perfect blend between the two bands sounds. I love listening to my boys revisiting their songs, the originals are great but it blows my mind how they go back and find all these new add ons, even simple things, that elevate my respect for the musicianship that is Twenty One Pilots. They haven't ceased to impress me yet.
I keep finding stuff I had somehow not found before. Just found the House of Gold Under the Bridge sessions, and a few weeks ago the Hamish & Andy Stressed Out ukulele version.
I showed my mom a bit of Tyler singing "O Come O Come Emmanuel" at Christmas and she said the same thing...'You can tell he puts a lot of feeling and emotion in his singing.' Also yep, him and Chester Bennington amaze(d) me at their ability to just throw screaming in the middle of their singing multiple times throughout a show.

@@fiveblud5825 I've already seen it multiple times, but I bought the Road to Revolution live at Milton Keynes shortly after his death. Still haven't been able to watch it. I get Tyler's message in Neon Gravestones, but I'm still conflicted in how much I agree with it. I am speaking as someone who is bipolar type 2, that has seen those lows though. I saw a short drunken interview (unfortunately TMZ,) with John Lydon after Keith Flint's death, that people in the business need to take better care of each other, and if anyone he knew felt that way to call him. Hopefully over time stigma regarding depression etc continues to abate and people realise it's ok to ask for help. .

I’m so glad you talked about how Tyler sounds exactly the same live. People say that about a lot of others but like he literally does...I’ve seen them live 13 times now lmao he’s an actual angel!! You have to see them. Their energy is unmatched, especially for being two people. I would die for them lol they’re honestly the best thing that’s happened to me.

Natalee House I’ve taken out loans and shit to see them haha so I’ve barely done it. I also have friends who have bought me tickets. I’ve seen them in like 6 different states. I’m so lucky and grateful for it. You’ll see them again. Many times. They have changed my life and I love them more than anything

Definitely wasn’t one take, but all in one day. They’re all so talented and most was done in just a few takes. (I recorded it)

Love these videos...I love how you appreciate their talents and the filming/editing. Twenty One Pilots has got to be one of the best at performing live and Tyler really amazes me with the vocals and how he can switch from the screaming back to regular singing without a crack in his voice. I could watch Josh on the drums all day long...he just makes me happy :D One of the best things about them is that their music is unpredictable, is just goes from one thing to the next all in one song. I saw them back in October and they were just amazing!! I love these videos you are doing...I don't think I have seen them all but have you done any older Twenty One Pilots...there is a live version of Addict With a Pen and Kitchen Sink that are awesome.

I love and watch your videos for such an important reason, that you pay attention and enjoy like me the little musical details in the songs of twenty one pilots. It's like having a friend who is equally in love with how great these guys are like musicians.

I totally agree with you! I actually got to see them live with my mom (who held through my emo phase) and it’s her second favorite live performance. She said she loves how they sound the same and how they interact with the audience. Her first will always be Pearl Jam because they are her band haha
Madeleine Stratton I saw Pearl Jam live in 1998 on my honeymoon, they were great and my favorite band at the time. I can say that TOP is, hands down, the best live concerts I’ve ever been to. Saw their Emotional Roadshow Tour and for the Bandito show, my daughter and I were in the pit!
I personally know several bands and band members at they don’t like to scream to much. It is really hard to recover. That is one of reasons I love their live stuff soooo muchi
