TO JAMES and Maren, they aren't any different from other heterosexual couples. But other people have often mistaken them for just friends because of the way they look. 22-year-old James, who previously identified as gay, is a feminine-presenting man, whilst Maren, 20, is a masculine-presenting woman. On their wedding day they decided to wear the traditional dress for the women and suit for the man only for their children. I’m more interested in finding out if they’re still together considering their _personalties_ are so different. He seems very extroverted and she seems very introverted. I'm 5'10 and my boyfriend is 5'5. The whole "We don't look how they expect us to look" is something we are faced with constantly. For example, we were staying at a hotel the other night and a guy at the counter looked at us and asked my boyfriend how it feels dating a woman taller than him. He responded "Damn good." Yup! It really does exist. We once live in a townhouse apartment where the old landlady lives closeby with her stay-in gardener and housekeeper. The gardener is a very masculine woman and the housekeeper is a very feminine man. They are married to each other, and when we paid the landlady a visit years after we moved out, the couple were still happily together and had adopted a son. I've actually thought this about some couples years ago where the man seemed more feminine and the woman seemed more masculine. At the time, I first thought they were closeted and trying to keep up an image. Then as the years went on, I realized they just didn't fit it the little boxes we put people in in this society. Masculinity and feminity are theorized to be attracted to each other. 2 men dating will still have one person being more masculine and one more feminine. Same if it was 2 woman , so and so forth. it’s not inherently weird, it’s just different because it isn’t something we see often. But with the laws of sexuality and gender being bent so far to the point of fluidity, it’s not shocking or surprising. They undoubtedly hurt the child who is not receiving the proper kind of love from their parent. That kind of a relationship will lead to a plethora of mental health concerns and emotional trauma. Two NON related consenting adults in a relationship are not hurting anyone. And i would argue that anyone they do hurt is absolutely unintentional and almost certainly a direct result of that person or persons beliefs. For example: the very religious take personal offense because they believe God abhors these relationships and in being devout, they too must abhor them and sometimes take it even a step further and consider it their responsibility to god to try and lead them down the “right path.” A father or Mother who actively chooses to have a sexual relationship with their own child 1000% knows before starting it that that they are engaging in inappropriate relationship. That parent is absolutely aware of the ramifications.
