I went to school with someone who’s father was in his early 70’s & mother was in her early 40’s (she was in the year above me, so she was 14, her mother had her in her 20’s which would have made her Dad in his 50’s). We all *loved* her Dad, he actually became a friend of my mothers / family friend. They were a wonderful couple, & were together until he passed in his early 80’s of lung cancer. I never once thought about or questioned their age difference, they loved one another very much & doted on their daughter, he never slowed down, they went on holidays to Vegas & all over the place. Age really is just a number.

I rolled my eyes at this.
