I’m 27 and my partner is 50. After being with an extremely immature ex for nearly 8 years, I found the wisdom and maturity in my partner so attractive! He has lived life, been through experiences, was married and then unfortunately lost his wife to ovarian cancer 4 years ago. The strength he shows is admirable!
I do sometimes think to myself that I wish I could have more time with him as I worry about the future but then I quickly tell myself to not worry yet and just live in the here and now.
My partner is VERY active and a lot of people mistake him for being younger than 50 (maybe it’s his child like nature that sometimes comes out) 😂

I can see why people tend to doubt it's real love. we often find people too young uncomfortable and too old unattractive. We assume daddy issues, desperation, financial benefits, immigration, and those are real things. We hear about that soo often its hard for real couples not to be judged.

Everyone *shouldn't* be allowed to have kids because *everyone* ISN'T FIT to be a parent! Sadly, there's more people in this world that have/had kids that shouldn't have! There's people in this world who LITERALLY HATE their parents (*and rightfully so. Just sayin' 🤷🏽♀️.*)

Having a kid in your teens and 20s is TOO YOUNG! Hell, by the time you hit your 30s, you're not gonna wanna run after no one...(*depending on the person*) because its too much stress! You might wanna do thing in your 30s like travel, etc., that you didn't get to do in your 20s! Some people don't get to live out their 20s because extenuating circumstances that was out of their control, to where they weren't able to have a "typical"/"normal" 20s "experience", in whatever that means or looks like.
By the time you're in your 30s/late 30s, you may just want to spend time to yourself and that's okay. If not, MID TO LATE 30s is a decent age to have a cause at least by the time you're in your 60s, your kid will be grown and hopefully out the house with a job or in a dorm somewhere.
My husband is 17 years my senior. I met him on my 19th birthday. 25 years and 2 grown kids later we are still very much in love. I have been blessed to meet my soulmate in this lifetime. Who can say that. I can not imagine if we had listened to our naysayers. And our age difference isnt all that great. Plus the older we get the smaller our age gap is.

All I can say is I was 39 when I got with my Man Lynn and he was 55! I love him so much. He passed away after 2 and a half years we were together. It still hurts! But gave me a real wake up call. And I don't know if I could ever go through that pain ever again. Hence why I am single! I feel like I may be single for the rest of my life!! IDK??
I really hate it when people say age is just a number. No it’s not. It’s an indicator of how much you’ve experienced, an indicator of what you are able to do physically (to an extent), and an indicator of how much time you’ve got left on Earth maximum. Drives me insane when people say that.

I was thinking the same! She could live well into her 80s/90s and have a very full life as a mother. I was raised by my grandparents when they were in their 60s, and they are alive and kicking 20+ years later.

Yeah they have been together a longish time now too and Eileen wasn’t rich, I think that ones pretty genuine. The second couple he looked a very old 50 tho, low energy, I have friends over 55 who still have the energy of 20/30 year olds, nothing wrong with being older for your age but harder to then date someone so much younger. She has to be careful he won’t drag her energy down.

Love does not judge so why should a total stranger. Like my grandma always said if you have nothing nice to say do not say it at all. Love is an amazing thing and these 2 women are not only in love but seem to really like each other and that is a rare thing indeed . I liked the last couple so it pained me to hear Leslie's mother talk. She's very reluctant to accept the relationship despite the fact it seems very healthy and fulfilling to them. She thinks Vincent is an obstacle to Leslie, something that's going to weigh her down or prevent her from doing what she wants. Except being married to Vincent IS what Leslie wants! I'm a big believer that nothing is more important than one's happiness regardless of what might happen in the future. Nothing is guaranteed, not even tomorrow, so worrying what might happen in a future that may never happen ruins the only thing you do have, which is the present moment. But moreover, I think having someone you love gives you all you really need in life, so you should hold onto it, no matter how it "looks" on the outside. Leslie and Vincent have a wonderful connection and it's a shame people want to take that away due to a mostly irrelevant detail, which is their age.
