For many motorhomes and caravans the storage bins are too small for a Weber or Ziggy BBQ. We couldn't find one that would fit, so went for the Hyperflame camping stove with grill plate setup, from Snowys. This would fit easily and looks a pretty good option, especially with the adapter to use the small butane canisters.
This is a regulated cooker which is the only model available in Australia. The original European Cadac stoves had a HP & LP, but the Dometic Cadac is regulated ~ Lauren
Hot tip only need to open gas bottle quarter turn (won't 'flow' any more gas). This also saves having to do so many turns should there be a need to quickly shut the bottle off.
I feel like they missed the mark by not allowing dual fuel compatibility (lpg and smaller 470g propane bottles). Definitely would have made it more practical for a day trip then.
@worthy_escapes this does run off LPG - there's also now an aftermarket hose for using B188/Lindal valve cannisters. Super light, and readily available. www.snowys.com.au/dual-power-pak-30 ~ Lauren
@@SnowysOutdoors thank you for that. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Especially for those day trips, or people travelling in a wagon and not wanting to carry a large gas bottle.
The little netting pocket, is to hold the gas canister, on HP models in Europe
Thanks for the info!

Love how the control knob won’t move unless you push it in. That’s a nice feature.
Plenty of useful features, I like the Cadac stoves. ~ Ben
Is there an aftermarket replacement for the nonstick stuff? Looks like a great unit other than that bit to me.
Not that we are aware of, it;s a good quality ceramic non-stick coating though. ~ Ben

The Dometic Cadac stoves are well thought out, this one is no exception. ~ Ben
Damn! That’s a neat little unit! I kind of wish I needed one. 😂
All the Dometic Cadac products are well thought out. ~ Ben
Mine never came with the fat trap where can I get one please
I;d recommend either getting in touch with the place you purchased your stove, or, getting in touch with Dometic directly. ~ Ben
I have the old version that use the little propane gas bottles
Nice, hope you love it!

you should remove the pot stand when you use the bbq grill or flat grill plate . use the fat plate only when you are using the BBQ grill.
Thanks Kylie

would it fit a chicken roast?
Thats a great question - I dont think it would given the height of the lid, but I reckon a smaller butterfly chicken would.
