That was a neat find. My eyes were getting heavy and we needed a rest and we just stumbled across that rest stop. We learned something there.

Garden of the Gods is a must see. We've been there twice now. I'd like to do Arches National Park again and the Grand Canyon again. We enjoyed them a lot too many years ago.

We loved New Mexico. We did not get to the Garden of the Gods. Great Drone shots. Good time with friends for sure. GotG's rock formations were as amazing as you said. ❤️👍👏
We love New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada. But we love a lot of what we sw on this amazing adventure. :)

We've been very fortunate with our meet-ups. I bought small to make it easy on me, lol. We're part-timers and don't require a very large rig. That campsite in Colorado was an awesome one. We've managed to find some nice areas to camp. That trip to Oregon was epic. :)

We really enjoyed traveling through New Mexico last fall. The scenery was very different than expected especially the lava flow areas outside of Mesa. We didn't get to explore but hope to get back soon . Thanks for sharing this it is stunning.

That was our second time visiting Garden of the Gods. But our first with the rv. We love that place. Brad and Paula, of Forgotten Winter are awesome people. He's the one that made our intro with the drone. Very cool people.

We did Garden of the gods, Pikes Peak, among other attractions a few years ago. Took my sons senior pics there. The scenery made great backdrops. Unfortunately, we weren't doing the camping thing at that time. Which seems a shame. Nonetheless, we enjoyed all those touristy places. 😊
We did the Garden of Gods and Pikes Peak over 15 years ago. But as we got close we figured we'd go out of the way a little bit and see the Garden of Gods again, this time with the trailer. We're glad we did. :)

I think I went to the Garden of the Gods a few years back. I need to look through my pictures to see now. Loved it bob..great trip. I need to catch up on the days I missed in between

Yes, that was our second trip there. The first time we flew into Colorado Springs for my nephew's wedding. Forgotten Winter has a really good channel, I'm happy to hear you'll check it out. As always, thank you for watching this video.

Watching these rigs make our mouths drool.. we are leaning to edit and DIY.. need to learn how to drive longer rigs.. or pulling stuff on a trailer too!!

I have a trailer of of only 20', that helps. I never turn my head around to look behind me when backing up, I only use my mirrors and the communication of the spotter. Just remember the trailer will back opposite of the way the vehicle backs up so your have steer accordingly. Go into a large parking lot with the trailer and practice these methods. I hope this helps.

We're doing great. Some are very natural, and some are (as one sub put it) like glorified parking lots.

Actually we knew nothing about editing when we got started. We're getting better at it as well travel along. We hope to get more familiar with it soon.
ArkansasTraveler Yes they are really great.. the drone shots are sooo pretty! Can’t wait to put Van rebuilding behind us and film nice things.. and afford a drone and all this great stuff they use! Editing is also a skill.. they have it. ;-)
I use a program called Filmora, it costs money, but is worth it. You may be able to Google some free or cheaper editors. Once you find the program you want, just mess around with it. Within time you'll learn the features and get better. I'm still learning the program I'm using.
BluWave Odyssey cool will look into it.. we just use the imovie for editing and ipad mini to film.. you are pretty basic at the moment.. figured once the Van is built and we are budget is under control we would spoil ourselves with some gadgets.
Totally understandable. How is the van build coming along? Is it complete or close to it. I'm not sure if they are ever complete, if you know what I mean.
