    On your drive to Plymouth, you passed a woods area with a sign along the road that said "thickly settled" -- I have never seen such a sign! Yes, I did find that interesting. But Plymouth Rock! Wow!! Yeh, Rhode Island should be an island!! Chili's for lunch!!! OH, you know what I would've had!! FAJITAS!! But you all had a great meal and meet-up. Thanks for taking us along!! Safe travels!

    • @BluWaveOdyssey
      @BluWaveOdyssey  3 года назад +1

      We noticed that too and had to show it on the video. "Thickly Settled" means there's a lot of homes close to together. That was new to us. The rock itself at Plymouth Rock was much smaller than I had expected, but it was very cool just the same. Fajitas are awesome. Chili's wasn't bad at all. It was a good lunch and a very fun meet-up. :)

    Hi there, great to see a video of home. I live in Provincetown. You mention your journey from the cape to Plymouth as the Pilgrims did. Did you phrase your journey this way to recognize that the Pilgrims first landed in Provincetown and in fact drafted the Mayflower Compact while anchored in Provincetown Harbor? The Pilgrims found the weather to be too "inhospitable" and sailed on to Plymouth. Our history books make little mention of this fact and most of us grow up thinking Plymouth was their first stop when it was in fact Provincetown. I am glad you enjoyed your visit to New England.

It's amazing that the marker is on the site of the burial of the first deaths in the New World. I had no idea. What a cool marker to come across. The structure around Pllymouth rock is a neat design. I like how you can see it and there is a grate out to the beach. John Chalker from Waterbury CT!!! Wow. We have always said that if we make it to CT, we will have to look up John Chalker. Such a cool adventure! We saw our first “thickly settled” sign in Mass! Lighthouses are amazing… go up to Maine at some point! The coastline is second to none. We didn’t make it to Plymouth Rock so we appreciate you taking us along. Safe travels my friends!

      Maine is epic. The lighthouse are so cool to visit. You're going to love it there. I know we did. Plymouth Rock was cool too. We found the entire Northeast to be quite beautiful. Safe travels to you and your family. :)

    Also, we guys have got us hooked on Lighthouses.

      We love the entire Northeast. It's so beautiful. There's so much to do and a lot of history. Lighthouses have become a thing for us as well. Natural bridges and waterfalls are very cool too. Thank you, Lou. I've racked up a lot of miles pulling boats and now a travel trailer. Experience is the best teacher in this case. Just remember ( one tip here) when backing up, using your mirrors is much better than turning your head. Oh yeah, and get out and survey the spot your backing into before attempting it. Love you guys! :)

      Take your trailer to an empty parking lot and practice. You'll get the hang of it. It's obvious that you're very much hands on. Don't let it intimidate you. 👍

      @@BluWaveOdyssey Unfortunately moving the trailer is not an option for us. Since have a leased spot at the park we are considered "permanent" resident. The lease as a permanent resident does not allow moving it.

    Hello guys👋 catching up with all my friends after the holiday rush! That thickly settled sign was cool. All the history there at Plymouth was so great to see- I’ve never been to that area. The rock is much smaller than one would think it is. Very cool video friends

      The rock at Plymouth Rock is much smaller than I had expected it to be. I was expecting something more like the boulders we saw along the Oregon coast. Everybody has their own criteria for what constitutes putting a sticker on the map. If watching a video of a state works for you, go for it, LOL! I heard about one couple that said they have to make whoopie in a state to add a sticker. :)

    "Its only an island if you look at it from the water" Mr. Hooper from Jaws. My rule for the map is i have to sleep in the camper. Do you know of a RI campground? I would have also ordered the margarita chicken.. Nice job on the video.

    • @BluWaveOdyssey
      @BluWaveOdyssey  3 года назад +1

      I've heard several different rules to the sticker from other people. Debbie and I feel if we drive into a state, it gets added. A campground that stands-out to me in RI is Water's Edge Campground. It's in Coventry. But, I've never stayed there. The lunch was good. It was fun seeing John Chalker. :)

They both loved Cape Cod and that whole area there...Hey while watching your intro it struck me that if you reversed the footage and the drone flew towards you both waving, it would look more like Hi 👋 than goodbye... and then maybe use it as is, flying away from you as your outro??
