    Funny story since we have the model Y and EV6. We decided to sell our Kia Niro EV. We bought for 31k premium trim during the pandemic in 2019 (MSRP was 45k). Went to Carmax the offer me 32K 7 weeks ago!!!! I went back and forth and decide to finally pull the trigger. They had to reappraise it since offer had expire. Second new offer was...................34K. I was like What!!!!!!!!!! So ended up selling it to Carmax, crazy that it went up 2K in 7 weeks!!!!!! Crazy part we had lower offer from both carvana and vroom. Only place that was over was Carlotzs which offer me 34,500, but is 250 miles away. Good luck hope it all works out!

    In a similar boat. How do you ensure the person who buys it does not try to claim the tax credit? Since it has never been claimed on the VIN. What if they end up doing their taxes before you? Wondering if this is possible.

    • @EVandChill
      @EVandChill  Год назад

      Trying to remember…but I believe there’s a question on the tax form that asks if you purchased it new or used. It runs the VIN so I’m sure it’s backed up to a database that knows whether you bought it new or not.

    With Megamillions jackpot win I would do a Elon Musk and sell my stuff. He's smart, owning stuff ties you down, you have to maintain, insure blah-de blah-de blah. Then rent whatever you want and when you're done with it turn it back in.
    With no belongings to drag you down you are now free to go where you want when you want and your fortune will last a lifetime.
    The last thing you want to do is start buying expensive stuff. Sure you can afford it but then you have to keep up with it. Less is more people!!

      When I was test driving EVs earlier this year, Tesla 3 & Y were the least comfortable cars I drove. Louder and rougher ride, felt every bump. Definitely tuned to be sports cars, which wasn’t what I was looking for. I was also annoyed by the placement of the speedometer, but I’m sure I could have gotten used to it eventually.

    • @StubbyStan28
      @StubbyStan28 Год назад +2

      I guess it's good for all non-Tesla automakers that opinions outside of yours exist. It's really audacious to watch someone's video and comment just to say, "Nothing you could have shown me would make me like this thing. I'm just here to say I don't like it".
