Me being a Chevy Guy ,I Love my K10 . I put some nice 1.9 beadlock rims and 4.75 tires on , NO annoying body rubbing.
This is by far my favorite Trx4. Our club bought 12 of them for trail runs. We were also surprised how well it rock crawled. It's not as top-heavy as it looks. Excellent job as usual Greg. Sorry for being so late to the party. RUclips notifications are a joke.
Would like to hear your opinion on the servo. Enough power? Saw a remark from someone a while back that said they thought it was weak, and replaced it. I think it looks fine, from what I can see.
I want one so much. The lift kit, the square body , the details like the chrome, and the fake lock outs on the front hubs, so awesome!!
Oh my gosh it just looks so good! Definitely cooler than all the others. Plus with the lift and big tires it absolutely mobbed everything!

If it comes to the upgrades the 2021 Bronco is still the peak for me. But the stock high-lift is quiet impressive. Think we see a lot of Fall Guy's trucks in the near future. I know he had a GMC Sierra Grande but the turn-over shouldn't take much.

I've always wanted a TRX4. I have a 1/10 Summit, which goes anywhere, so I've never pulled the trigger on buying one. But now I guess I better start a "save" jar. Hahaha I almost bought the Bronco version. Happy I didn't. Amazing Truck. Great video as always.
Looks really cool! I got into rc through the scx24 but looking at a 1/10 and the TRX4 seems like where it’s at! This high trail looks awesome! I only wish that it had a deeper bed and clear windows, my kids love putting stuff into my modded scx24 c10’s truckbed and I imagine a TRX4 high trail would be no different. Thanks for the review. Enjoyed seeing you put it through its paces.

I got the blue one....LOVE this thing! Diff locks and 2-speed transmission, tires do rub the fenders at extreme angles and frame articulation but is expected and not a big deal. Cut the body more if you want. This is my favorite RC now
Sweet platform butt Traxxas need's to make this a roller so we can instal a brushless system in about 20 minutes vs. removing stock out of the box, I have 3 17 gallon storage bins full of rtr parts I prefer building rc's to my liking I do have some I leave stock for folks to run when they visit, great review Greg thank's for sharing 😉👍

I'm an RC guy I like any brand that works well, plays and looks good. But the TRX-4 is the only reason I have a Traxxas, although I also have an old 2WD Rustler as a project to upgrade stuff.

I pretty much built this truck but without the lift kit, when proline came out with a 78 stepside body(4 years ago?), I bought one of the Traxxas grills and made it work. Love the look,

I love how Traxxas got into the scale market. I was tempted by the UDR (went with a Mojave), and almost by the Blazer and Bronco TRX4, but I think these Cheyenne's might just make me pony up for a TRX. Awesome looking body and the 'Mickey Thompson' style 8 holes definitely look the business 😎

I love it. I picked mine up yesterday and hit the trails today. A little bit of body rub at full flex is my only complaint.

The K10 Looks Great and with the High-Lift and 2.2's already installed makes it very COOL ... You spoke about sidehill and that of course would be my main concern "LCG" compared to the 21 Bronco (spoiled by the clip-less) maybe a side X side would be a needed Video seeing how they're priced about the same..

The side hill is good “considering” the CG. It will go over, but I believe it’s impressive how far you can push it. The scene where the camera is on the hood and the truck starts to roll over into the water and gets the hood wet is a great visual indicator of how far it can be pushed.

I'm usually not attracted to this type of RC vehicle (mainly due to the slower speeds), but this may have changed my mind. Looks like a blast and still has a little speed for the trails.
I felt exactly the same. But I got the 2021 bronco kit and absolutely love it.

I know it’s a pipe dream, but I sure wish I could buy it without the throw away electronics.
Might have to get a Sport builder kit, the lift kit, this body, a two speed transmission kit and some new wheels and tires.
But then it’s hard to say if you even save any money.

First crawler was the Vaterra K10. Why? Because of the body. Love all trucks but the Chevy has always been a favorite. That one will be in my stable before the end of the year. Wow ... so nice! Appreciate your run-down and running video as always.

You can actually. You will just need to swap (or lower) the 110mm shocks for 90mm shocks and you will want to change to the 8239 servo mount. That's what I did.
My fave body style Chevy. This might make me buy a crawler... but first a drag slash and a limitless 100+ mph build. Oh, and a few hundred bucks of spare parts, and double that upgrading y Slash-ler build to mod 1 gears and a new transmission with a spool.
Damn I want! As a Chevy guy, that helps me want it more…doh!

I called Traxxas and talked to them this thing is going to cost over $600 so with tax it was around $700 .. I was also told they're discontinuing the Chevrolet Blazer
The 79 bronco looks the best!! However The holes for the boby clips suck but it still looks better!

Does anyone know why a brushed motor was used? To keep costs down? Because they don’t cog? They change direction quicker? Smoother overall? Better in water? It seems to me if battery life, speed and heat are not an issue, brushed is best!

The sport is a ranger all day if you look at the right angle. As a lover of the dent side fords and Squarebody chevys I love ‘em both but I currently have a sport and defender and the defender grew on me
Body is nice but the windows are a drag. It is a lot of work to get to the clear lexan. A little wider track width would have been nice since the portals raise the cog so much. And a wider axle is always better than using high offset hubs,, especially if it is going to be used in the mud.. Is what it is.
if i get one of those one day, be swappin out the front 3 link, link on panhard mount to 4 link, servo on axle.
