I saw a comment you made on a previous video, about someone trying to talk you out of listening to this group. After watching this, can you believe they tried to sell you that nonsense? I honestly don't understand why some folks are so against VoicePlay, when they have such obvious talent and creativity. They are also absolutely lovely people who put so much work into their craft, but still take time to really connect with their fans. Being a member of their Patreon and being able to be even a small part of the creation of this amazing music is one of the best choices I've ever made.
Yeah, like I commented above, those kind of people are just missing out on great music. I refuse to tie myself down to one particular group...cant see the forest for trees kind of thing
Don't apologize, please! This one is mesmerizing and well worth a few swears--one reactor was famously so blown away by it that he jumped up and walked off camera, forgetting he only had his boxers on! Watching someone new get as lost in the music as we all did when we first heard these is the greatest joy of reaction videos.
Some others on my recent list of top recommendations are Seven Nation Army, Creep, Queen in Five Minutes (which features an older VoicePlay lineup but is just spectacular,) The Lion Sleeps Tonight, In the Air Tonight, and Sleeping in the Cold Below. Drunken Sailor is a riot, and The Wellerman is a bit shorter but still fantastic.

Jose was not the featured artist who was supposed to do this one. Covid travel restrictions prevented the artist from coming in. They've worked with Jose before and he is local (Orlando area) so he came in at the last minute. The featured artist was supposed to sing that crazed rock belting part that Eli sang, but Jose's voice doesn't suit it. So Eli had to re-record that part and Jose took the part originally planned for Eli. This arrangement from Geoff had reactors going nuts, which we love!
Jose was back for Drunken Sailor, you'll love it. Trust me!

If you're still looking for more Voiceplay to check out, I strongly recommend their take on Aerosmith's "Dream On." Not a song you'd expect to work well a cappella, but oh boy, indeed it does.
