It's been a while since I had played something as big as Elden Ring, having so much freedom is overwhelming lol so please be patient with me and I'd appreciate your feedback! I hope you enjoy the video
Well, it's my least favourite Fromsoft game and even having couple more to play I don't think that changes, beautiful as it is. Hope it fits your taste better. Have you decided anything on the topic of streaming on yt? I'd be fun.
my recommendation is leave in everything like many youtubers do. People can use the skip button after all but many people, myself imcluded like to see the whole playthrough and all side quests, item reading, etc... Even if the videos are 3 hours. Take your time
Explore, Explore, Explore and always speak to whoever you can and read the notes from Merchants as they give you good tips. So many hours playing this masterpiece and I still regularly do MP co-op, such fun. Seeing the pleasure on your face as the game progresses brings back fond memories. Torrent is great but can be frustrating. For the videos - people have generally been through what you will experience. They like to see your reaction to what they did, they like to see suffering and success. Is this streamed live? because lots of people would be willing to help.
I was amused when you said ''i know some bosses like Malenia''. I am here to tell you that you do not know Malenia _yet_ But you will. She will make sure of that.
I don't want to spoil anything for you, but will say this - exploration and taking your time is key. Look around buildings, ruins, etc. It's not just all about boss fights.
Its normal to be overwhelmed, this game is huuge. However, just take it slow, if you see something interesting in the distance just go to it, this game is full of surprises and you definitely will have enough content each session to make a video. Just seeng you reaction to the world and the vistas is pretty cool, doesnt always have to be a boss each episode. This game is a masterpiece that you'll only be able to experience once, so take your time, take it slow, and enjoy your time in the Lands Between! Super excited with this series btw :D Ah, one more little thing. You'll probably atract tons of new viewers which comes with tons of backseating, but dont be discourage by it, just do your thing.
Yes, sir. I honestly need comments like that to remind me to take it slow from time to time, getting into a game this big is really frustrating when I want it to be fun to watch for other people too 😅
I'm so so excited for this playthrough! No one will mind if you take your time to explore, read stuff or something else. I hope you enjoy this game as much as many people have!
Oh and about what you were saying at the end, I think that a similar approach to your DS1 and DS3 playthroughs could work. You can edit out the traveling and material collecting and keep lore reading, NPC interactions, you discovering a place/enemy for the first time etc.
Exploration and discovery are the most interesting. I just want to feel like you're taking me along on your journey, not just giving me the highlights.
The most important tip I could ever give you is, do whatever the heck you want. This game will never hold your hand, and thus never keep you from doing things that you wanna do. If you see a castle that intrigues you, go to it! If a boss is way too difficult, go explore and come back powerful! This game is MASSIVE but as everyone has probably already said, take your time. No one has any expectation on you other than hoping that you would have fun and enjoy this game.
I am so happy to be watching you again. I never played DS2/DS3 so I had to avoid your channel for a bit. I really do think Elden Ring is a beautiful culmination of everything Fromsoft has learned. Miyazaki himself has said that ER is the closest to his vision he has ever gotten. This will be an amazing journey.
People watch these play throughs to relive it all over again. You MUST show everything. It will be a lot of editing, but trust me, you’ll get a big following. We want to see everything. Each time you die for big bosses, randomly walking around the lands to see what you find… EVERYTHING. Check every inch of the lands.
@@Baayya …. You keep running past everything. You’re missing out on 80% of the game. You run past things that are very strong and you’re missing out on the treasure they give you. You don’t REALLY search every place you go to. Please slow down, and enjoy the game. Start from Limgrave and search EVERY SINGLE square foot of the maps.. Write down places you need to go back to. Search all levels. You may have beaten a mini boss, but you’re missing out on the rest of the land has to offer you. You’re missing out on so many things.
With a game this big you can take your time and do whatever you want, exploring, learning, trying out stuff, etc.. but just enjoying the game is the best you can do. Whether you make this videos longer than usual or shorter is up to you, I'm just happy you finally got to play elden ring and don't worry about enemies/bosses or any threat from this world they won't disappoint you. Good luck on your adventure Tarnished.
Here we go! About the stuff you better to leave in the video, the more you're gonna play, the more points of interest you will encounter so those probably are worth including The further you will go the less important will be travelling from point A to point B so this is worth leaving out Some tips that are gonna be useful: 1. Like in Dark Souls 3 you can move your flask charge from FP to HP at the sites of grace so if you're not using FP it's worth allocating them all to HP to get extra flask 2. Your weapon kinda sucks in terms of damage so the faster you're gonna change it the better, those soldiers usually die in 3 hits compared to 6 with your butter knife, perhaps some exploring around those ruins with tons of guards is worth it 3. Don't rush in to places where Grace guides you, there are secrets and loot around every corner and by just going after the grace you're inevitably gonna hit the wall like that Tree Sentinel boss at the start of Limgrave 4.You can play online in this game without risk of getting invaded by other players, you actually need to either play co-op or use special item to get invaded by other players! So you can still experience messages without any downsides and I honestly recommend it, lots of people play Elden Ring and there are some creative and hilarious ones for sure lol 5. The lore in this game is huge, consider rewatching an intro cutscene from time to time it actually gives a lot of info which you just not aware of yet but the more you delve into the lore, the more the cutscene will make sense I'm very excited for this playthrough, can't wait for the next episode!
Thank so much for the tips! I actually created a new character cause Bandit class and that butter knife really sucked and yeah, I decided not to follow the main story for now and do my things 😅 I don't think I want to go online anyway, feel like the messages spoil a lot, and if I miss something really important or interesting I'm sure you and others will tell me in the comments. Rewatch the intro from time to time, noted!
I usually like unedited playthrough with lore implication. Some people's playthrough for this game have more than 100 episodes and this is not a problem. You can cut your videos in 2 hours each and do some offline exploration if you want but I think that people watching playthrough love unedited videos with no cuts in them.
Great video. Yes, Elden Ring is pretty huge and there's so much to explore. I guess it's important to play the game in a pace your comfortable with, no need to rush. I still remember the first time I played Elden Ring, riding through Limgrave, getting excited about the smallest things and sending a friend of mine approximately 15 pictures and voicemails within the first three or four hours. Can't wait for the next Episode.
thank you, glad you enjoyed it yees, there are so many things, I didn't see much in this episode but in the next one it feels like everywhere I go there's something to explore/fight/die to 😅
@@Baayya I hope you'll enjoy the game as much as I did the first time I played it. It will be great to see you explore/fight/die to everything this game has to offer. You got this!
8:40 I was the same, keyboard and mouse for decades. I hadn't used a controller since Tomb Raider on PS1 way back when. Anyways, i bought a controller, for Dark Souls III, tried it for about 30 minutes, then like you, it sat as a paper weight. However, i tried it again and after a few hours i had built up decent muscle memory for the major actions and after a few days it felt natural to play with a controller. TLDR; Don't give up on using the controller, i am reasonably sure you will enjoy it more than keyboard/mouse once you get used to it and develop the muscle memory . 🙂👍
I keep wanting to switch to a controller too but I feel like I won't play as well even if I practice. And because this game seems to be hard as it is I don't want to put more stress on myself 😐 Maybe someday
I like watching you explore and discover things along with fighting, so you don't need to edit much out. Long videos are fine, we can always fast forward if we want. 😊 important that you enjoy at your pace while we watch the parts we like.
At this point it might be too easy but I'm sure it'll be a fun watch. In my opinion you can keep most of the stuff in the video like exploring around, reacting to new enemies, finding items and shortcuts, thinking loud about what's going on in the story. Falling from cliffs. ;) Esp. with bosses the failed attempts are interesting too. Backtracking through areas or grinding runes for hours might not be that interesting though.
I know you pre recording, one thing to mention. You do not need to fight every mob, especially in the open world. You can pass them on your way to a poe, or what ever.
It's such a breath of fresh air to see a playthrough where the player is not constantly being distracted by comments/actions from chat. I know you will eventually start streaming these, but it is just such a joy to see that there are creators out there sharing their unaltered first impression of the game!
I love the way you discover the game totally on your own, reading item descriptions, checking all corners.. u are gonna have an amazing time with the game
So glad you're playing Elden Ring, one of my faves ever. You're going to love it ❤. Have fun and make sure you take your time and enjoy it at your pace. 🎉😊
It has a new method when you walk through a lake of poison or rot. In the dark souls, the resistance-bar was only filled as long as you were in it. Here, if you roll, your clothes will get soaked and the bar will continue to fill up for a while. So just run through quickly and have fun.
Oooh! Hiya, Baya! Well done on completing your Dark Souls 3 adventure! I was secretly hoping that you'd dive into Dark Souls 2... But Elden Ring is very exciting as well!
Heyy! Thank you Honestly, this was a very hard decision.. I still think about DS2 a lot but seeing this hype about ER made me settle with this playthrough. However, I'll still give DS2 a try
i am really jealous of you because you can experience this masterpiece the first time. i wish you all the fun in the world =D and one advise from me. never lock on big enemies. its easer to defeat them without the lock on.
The first encounter with Varre and the Tree Sentinel are always interesting to watch because they give a clear impression of the type of player that is playing.
Hi Baya! You're really gonna have fun with this one! :-). Exploration is the key in this game, as it is overwhelming indeed, so take your time. You've already missed some helpful items where you were fighting the soldiers. Now that you have Torrent, you can use him to trample on those glowing skulls to break them open, with ease and retrieve a useful item. Also, as soon as you can afford it, you will find that having a torch(or lantern), will be a "must have". In regards to the Sentinel boss, you made the right choice to go back for him at a later time-a lot of gamers found him to be most annoying, so early in the game.
The blue line is a beacon you placed. You don’t have to fight every enemy you come across, sometimes it’s best to sneak by them and come back later. Don’t be to hard on backseaters, people just get excited about new players and want to help 😅. Try rolling over shiny eyed skulls. Don’t pass up graces! 😱 There’s a map piece at the steles in that first camp you came through before getting Torrent.
oh damn, I didn't realize it's the beacon lol. Oh yes, I know people just want to help. I don't mind tips and stuff, lore spoilers is what I really don't want to see though Found that map, thank you!
Placing (and removing) beacons on your map is super useful, as well as the markers you can also place, since there is so much in the world and it's easy to start forgetting unfinished business as you go. At least you can remind yourself with visual cues, if not actually make notes. The game is quite rewarding when you manage to keep finding NPCs, as they move about and remember to come back to and talk with/check with them time and again throughout the game. You never know what is going to trigger something new with one of them.
OK so two bits of advice! 1) This game is LONG, if you need to take a break from the playtrhough at some point don't hesitate over it. 2) If you get stuck anywhere go and explore another area, plenty of optional bosses and dungeons. Here we goooooo
Hi B, In 2020 I started to play Dark Souls III to past time during the pandemic. I purchased Elden Ring on the day of release. And the DLC in June. I played Path of Exile and now waiting for POE II. You are going to really like Elden Ring. Take your time with this long game, ( to enjoy the quality ). When you are deep into the game, the Wiki can help you with clarification of the game stumps. And we can help too. Maybe you can post another different video gameplay along with ER. I like your game hosting. Keep it up with the fun. 🤪
about illusionary walls, best way is to buy Margitts Shackle from Patches for 5k runes, and then when you using it, it will brake all illusions in broad area. Have fun and be patient ❤
Using the Shackle this way does work to reveal illusory walls, but it is considered to be an unintended exploit. If it helps, you will not encounter illusory walls for some time in the game, and typically the game is good at giving you some kind of hint or clue, visual or otherwise where they are located. If you pay attention to details as you go and ask logical questions why things are where they are, you are usually likely to find them.
@@synergy67 since Fromsoft never patched it, they're perfectly aware how shackles work, so this ain't exploit. Same as fighting on torrent against all possible opponents :) Just sayin
@@skyarecki It's possible, but I've never seen it discussed or clarified by Fromsoft. I think the case is that it was a side effect of how they were able to make shackles do what they do, and they just weren't concerned that it also did other things most players would never discover. I think the unfortunate use of it would be to go into a cave you haven't been through yet, use it, and then never even know which openings you go through which were illusory walls.
You know the big troll at the gate is there for a good reason.... Running past those enemies was unwise... Well perhaps your ambitions will be put to rest because of that
If you happen to see this comment, I would suggest going south whenever you get the chance to explore. The first area you're in (Limgrave) has plenty of stuff to keep you busy, but the south area (Weeping Peninsula) is also a great place for starting players. Between those two areas, you should have plenty to explore for the next several episodes.
@Baayya further you get into the game harder the bosses get to before each boss upgrade your weapons & get better armor every boss have different attack patterns
Hi Baya. I love this game. Exploring the world is such a wondrous experience. My top recommendations for this game are: 1) Take your time exploring. There is no hurry. You'll probably do better if you explore a region pretty thoroughly before taking on the main boss (no need to be in a hurry to pursue the main quest line). Leveling up and gaining better gear through exploration of the area first usually works well. 2) Read everything (you don't have to do it on camera, but you will learn so much from reading all the item descriptions and tip notes from merchants, etc.). 3) Learn how to use and play with the weapon arts you can put on and take off of your weapons at sites of grace once you have the whetstone knife. 4) Look up. Look down. So many secrets or ways to get places are revealed when you remember to look up above you or what is over the edge below you. 5) Don't be afraid to use smithing stones to level up a weapon you like using, but also don't do it too quickly and carelessly. You will have plenty of stones in time. You increase the damage you do much more by leveling up your weapon than by leveling up your stats, which brings us to... 6) Pump up your Vigor a lot for quite a while, and maybe just raise other stats to be able to use weapons, armor, or spells you want to use. Health is huge and its soft cap is at 60! 7) Bleed is huge! Since you have started as a bandit with a bleedy knife, you are already seeing how much damage occurs when you proc a bleed status on an enemy. You said you like that a lot, so if you want to make a very bleedy build, Dexterity and/or Arcane are the offensive stats to take high for your character in time. 8) Play with crafting a few things and trying them out. Early on, Fire Pots to throw or Fire Grease to put fire on your weapon are especially useful ways to enhance your combat. Similarly, having a bow for ranged attacks is very useful all throughout the game. My character of any build always has one. Also, having throwing knives, darts, or kukri to throw at enemies to finish them off or help proc bleed from a safe distance is also very useful to include in your combat at times. The game gives us so many useful diverse tools! I love watching people play Elden Ring for the first time. It's a beautiful and amazing game, which I am confident you will greatly enjoy. Thanks for sharing it with us. Cheers!
Thank you so much for taking time to write all these tips About my knife.. I didn't enjoy that class that much so I decided to create a new character instead (swordsman). Bleed seemed to be really nice buuut it took so many hits to build it up and so many hits in general to kill a simple enemy.. I think I'll do better with my new character. I'll spend some time to check crafting and stuff, please be patient though, I'll be pre recording episodes so it' will take me some time to follow the tips Thank you for joining me, I hope you will enjoy the episodes!
@@Baayya Right on. One of the joys of this game is playing with diverse builds, gear, and tactics...even in just one playthrough if not multiple. If you are having your hand now at being a melee (Strength?) build, you will have plenty of fun options to fit your preferences and style. One of my favorite playstyles for melee is dual wielding (power-stancing) two greatswords or straightswords. Jump attacks, heavy attacks, dual wielding attacks can be great for staggering enemies which is one of the great strengths of being a Strength build, because when enemies are staggered they aren't hitting you back and you get to keep hitting them. Fire scales with Strength in this game, so putting fire in any way on your weapon is a good tactic, and it also adds to poise-breaking. You may find it helpful to include a longer weapon like a halberd in your melee kit too. I love a good halberd. One other thing to watch for is what kind of damage type a foe is resistant to or vulnerable to. For instance, certain foes with tough skins are resistant to all normal melee slash, pierce, & standard sorts of damage with swords and such, but are surprisingly vulnerable to Strike damage with a hammer or flail. Looking forward to seeing how your game progresses. Cheers!
What I'd like to see is boss fights, weapon finds , dungeons, things called "gaols", you will find later on.. and as final cherry on top things like stupid deaths due to whatever. Jump passages... I try not too spoil too much. Just have fun exploring, it will be a pleasure to watch i'm sure. Don't let yourself overwhelm by its size and take in every area for itself. Exploring pays of especially near towers or ruins.
You'll be able to take your time and make her look how you want to when you get to the Roundtable Hold. There's a mirror next to Fia and you can change everything there.
So, if DS3 took 5 months to be beaten, then ER should take at least 2 years, including DLC. Prepare for a long journey :) Don't rush and everything will be ok. Rushing is dangerous here, because ER allows you to visit about 75% of the world without beating a single boss. Restless curiosity can bring you too far away.
yeah good luck baya!! but one word of advice don't rush following the site of grace beam, explore first and find good loot, otherwise you face morgot super early unprepared and die a Bazillion times like i did😭 so don't make the same mistake as i did, ok?
@@Baayya please don't be wierded out by this, but i feel you are like the female version of me, in the way you talk, express yourself and stuff. if i had a youtube channel it would be probably similar to yours, since i am not super enthusiastic or expressive in any way and that's ok.....i think😅
I honestly thought about using one too but I don't know if it's worth it.. I think it's going to take me a long time to get used to and this game seems to be hard as it is
To make easy money kill everyone in those ruins gane money to level up & get better armor & weapons from the enemies you kill before moving on to new location. Everywhere you can see you can explore
We will never get Dark Souls II lel. I hope you enjoy Elden Ring, I like a lot of it, though open world games aren't really my cup of tea. Good luck and kick butt.
This is going to be awesome. Don't be afraid to do long videos. If you're sick of me now, just wait, I'm going to be the insane commenter. You see I haven't even watched one minute of the video and I've already left a long comment. I'll be back.
Hi Baya, always enjoy following a new victim, err, player. You have asked for some guidance and advice. I do not wish to spoil your first time run through, you only get one. For starters stay in Limgrave. There are tons of nook and crannies to explore and it is safer for you. 1: level up your vigor to 20 2: buy more arrows from Merchant Kale’, Church of Elleh 3: Do not fight groups, use your bow to trigger one foe to come after you, kill with your Great Knife. Baya, you’re an assassin, creep up behind and back stab singles when you can. With a little practice and experience this strategy will be second nature to you. Looking forward to your next video Baya
more fresh meat to the grill... chapter 1 fase 1: astonishment ok so about the editing the crude content works for me because i know the game so well that i can skip forward to interesting stuff, but for the rest i would suggest cutting out world mapping and focus on events like camp raiding, dungeon completion (maybe just rare item grabbing and bosses), npc dialogue and finally the "legacy dungeons" are escencially classic soul levels. The game is long and it can feel a little... overwelming.
Okay I watched the whole video now and since you've asked, here we go. Take your time. Don't rush to complete main quest. Explore all areas thoroughly. That gate front where all those soldiers were gathered, use that to practice and gain some runes and some very important items. I used to use this area to try out new weapons that I found. All the weapons have special skills called ashes of War, that quick step is on your dagger. If you're in a hurry to complete the story, you'll find very soon that you'll be under levelled for everything and it could ruin all your fun. I didn't even do the main storyline boss until 25 hours into the game. If you reach an area or an enemy that seems too hard, just go somewhere else. As far as editing goes, I personally wouldn't mind if you left in all the exploration and edited the extended boss fights. Anytime you discover something new especially technical aspects I would love to see that. You don't have to be at of sight of Grace to fast travel, anytime you're not in combat just open the map and travel. Damn this is going to be fun. (Maybe if you're not sure if something should be edited or not just leave timestamps.) don't forget to exhaust dialogue and check back with NPCs, and also check when you sit at a site of Grace, sometimes there's new options that were'nt there before.
Turn Online on, the messages don't spoil anything and will save you from the occasional unfair ambush or needless death. And take every area slowly. I'm 250 hours into my first playthrough and I wish I had just slowed down - it's a bigger game than anyone is prepared for and you will miss lots of NPC's and side quests (unless you want spoilers from a guide).
@shponglefan 250 hours. It doesn't spoiling anything. Save time not dying dozens of times to avoidable mobs and don't spend hours back-tracking through areas because you missed a random illusory wall. If you don't want any spoilers, then turn off chat for streaming too, because that's not ridiculous.
@@AeroZephron When I'm talking about spoilers, I'm referring to things you are talking about: ambushes, illusionary walls, hints to puzzles, etc. In-game messages, ghosts, bloodstains, can and do spoil those things.
@@shponglefan I just don't see the point in people telling other people not to use game mechanics the developers intended you to use. Don't use Summons. Don't use the messages. Don't use the Jump button. Who decides these arbitrary rules? All I'm saying is "Don't waste an extra 50 hours of your life on avoidable mistakes."
@@AeroZephron I'm not telling anyone what to use. If people want to play online, play online. My point is that playing online will reveal information about the game via ghosts, bloodstains and messages, that they otherwise wouldn't see if playing offline.
Many possible tips to play this game. I just will say, be warned, the balance is a mess. You can break difficulty very easily if you just explore and dont follow the rigid intended route. Overall, if you feel enemies are too tanky or difficult, you should go elsewhere instead of trying to kill them and dying in the process a lot of times. But dont explore too much or the game will turn into a cakewalk. Yeah, its that badly designed. Still, one of the best games ever made.
I can't wait to watch this playthrough as I love your commentary. But I'm crossing my fingers that this will be a bloodhound fang-less playthrough. Please.
Save those branches that you picked as a starting item. You can use them to charm enemies to fight alongside you for a short time. There are a couple times later in the game when they're very useful. Take them off your hot bar so you don't accidentally use them. I'll be back.
Don't rush and take time to explore cuz there's nothing less interesting than an Elden Ring player rushing the game just to give people what they want. Exploration and taking your time is key. And don't waste several minutes to read descriptions of items that we already know of, that is content you can cut for sure.
Two things you missed in the tutorial. If you do an R2 after blocking you do a very powerful guard counter. Also jumping attacks. If you jump and hit R2 you do much more stance damage than a regular hit. I'll be back.
After Dark Souls 3 it should've been Bloodborne and not Elden Ring !!! I literally hate Elden Ring with so much passion !!! This game is a cult just like their Pink Glassed Groupies out there !!! Whether you make this videos longer than usual or shorter is up to you, I'm just happy you finally got to play elden ring and don't worry about enemies/bosses or any threat from this world they won't disappoint you.
Good luck on your adventure Tarnished.
I'll do my best to explore as much as I can, thank you!
Here we go! About the stuff you better to leave in the video, the more you're gonna play, the more points of interest you will encounter so those probably are worth including
The further you will go the less important will be travelling from point A to point B so this is worth leaving out
Some tips that are gonna be useful:
1. Like in Dark Souls 3 you can move your flask charge from FP to HP at the sites of grace so if you're not using FP it's worth allocating them all to HP to get extra flask
2. Your weapon kinda sucks in terms of damage so the faster you're gonna change it the better, those soldiers usually die in 3 hits compared to 6 with your butter knife, perhaps some exploring around those ruins with tons of guards is worth it
3. Don't rush in to places where Grace guides you, there are secrets and loot around every corner and by just going after the grace you're inevitably gonna hit the wall like that Tree Sentinel boss at the start of Limgrave
4.You can play online in this game without risk of getting invaded by other players, you actually need to either play co-op or use special item to get invaded by other players! So you can still experience messages without any downsides and I honestly recommend it, lots of people play Elden Ring and there are some creative and hilarious ones for sure lol
5. The lore in this game is huge, consider rewatching an intro cutscene from time to time it actually gives a lot of info which you just not aware of yet but the more you delve into the lore, the more the cutscene will make sense
I'm very excited for this playthrough, can't wait for the next episode!

I was the same, keyboard and mouse for decades.
😊 important that you enjoy at your pace while we watch the parts we like.
good to know, thank you for sharing your opinion
At this point it might be too easy but I'm sure it'll be a fun watch.
In my opinion you can keep most of the stuff in the video like exploring around, reacting to new enemies, finding items and shortcuts, thinking loud about what's going on in the story. Falling from cliffs. ;)
Esp. with bosses the failed attempts are interesting too.
Backtracking through areas or grinding runes for hours might not be that interesting though.
Thank you! I think so too, I'll keep more footage in since everything is new for me now and start cutting out some things when it gets repetitive
Nice, Elden Ring. I love this game. It is so versatile, you can play however you want. My favorite concept are the Ash of Wars.
I know you pre recording, one thing to mention. You do not need to fight every mob, especially in the open world. You can pass them on your way to a poe, or what ever.
@@cheesy-p1j skipping/panicking through enemies is my thing so I won't fight everything for sure 😅
Fun fact: Melina’s voice actress also voiced Captain Yorshka from DS3
name thyself, stranger
It's such a breath of fresh air to see a playthrough where the player is not constantly being distracted by comments/actions from chat. I know you will eventually start streaming these, but it is just such a joy to see that there are creators out there sharing their unaltered first impression of the game!
I love the way you discover the game totally on your own, reading item descriptions, checking all corners.. u are gonna have an amazing time with the game
So glad you're playing Elden Ring, one of my faves ever. You're going to love it ❤. Have fun and make sure you take your time and enjoy it at your pace. 🎉😊
This is going to amazing! Elden Ring is sooooo good! Really excited for this series! :)
Thank you for joining meee
Very impressive for a first timer. I just started and leveled up a few before beating that boss.
It has a new method when you walk through a lake of poison or rot. In the dark souls, the resistance-bar was only filled as long as you were in it. Here, if you roll, your clothes will get soaked and the bar will continue to fill up for a while. So just run through quickly and have fun.
And use soap to clean the rot off.
Explore everything, every building, every ruins, every caravan, everywhere. You never know what treasures you may find.
This is going to be a veeeeeerrrrrrry loooooooong series 👍
Yeees, but hopefully a good watch for everyone
Baya Gang 😎Look at you goooo!!! Elden Ring hyyyyype
Oooh!
However, I'll still give DS2 a try
you are doing great! go Tarnished, you will get good soon!!! put levels in vigor first! excited to see your next play :)
i am really jealous of you because you can experience this masterpiece the first time. i wish you all the fun in the world =D and one advise from me. never lock on big enemies. its easer to defeat them without the lock on.
Thank you! I'll have that in mind
Finally. This is the best Fromsoft game so far.
Sekiro!!!
Back with the cozy vibes. Remember to watch out for the rolling goats!!!
The first encounter with Varre and the Tree Sentinel are always interesting to watch because they give a clear impression of the type of player that is playing.
At this point I’ve seen so many of these videos….first time Elden Ring playthrough, etc. So many….and I’m here for this one, too!
Thank you for being here!
Hey! I went back there and got a map and a weapon if that's what you meant I'll get a torch, thank you!
Letsgooo! Another great beginning :)
There’s a map piece at the steles in that first camp you came through before getting Torrent.
oh damn, I didn't realize it's the beacon lol. Oh yes, I know people just want to help. I don't mind tips and stuff, lore spoilers is what I really don't want to see though
Found that map, thank you!
Merchant Kalé: “Buy a crafting kit. It’s important!”
Baya: “Oh look! A telescope!”
I knoooow, I just enjoyed the binoculars in DS3 towards the end so I really wanted a telescope xD
oh shit im gonna love this playtrough xD good choice!!!
btw ER lore is absolute peak
OK so two bits of advice! 1) This game is LONG, if you need to take a break from the playtrhough at some point don't hesitate over it. 2) If you get stuck anywhere go and explore another area, plenty of optional bosses and dungeons.
Here we goooooo
thank you for the tips!
With the main game and dlc you've got a looooong journey.
Just explore everything. By the way, every enemy drops their armor and weapon. But if an enemy kills you twice, just run past 🤣👍
Maybe you can post another
different video gameplay along with ER. I like your game hosting. Keep it up with the fun. 🤪
about illusionary walls, best way is to buy Margitts Shackle from Patches for 5k runes, and then when you using it, it will brake all illusions in broad area.
Have fun and be patient ❤
Patches?!
Same as fighting on torrent against all possible opponents :)
Just sayin
@@skyarecki It's possible, but I've never seen it discussed or clarified by Fromsoft. I think the case is that it was a side effect of how they were able to make shackles do what they do, and they just weren't concerned that it also did other things most players would never discover. I think the unfortunate use of it would be to go into a cave you haven't been through yet, use it, and then never even know which openings you go through which were illusory walls.
You know the big troll at the gate is there for a good reason.... Running past those enemies was unwise... Well perhaps your ambitions will be put to rest because of that
This is going to be so good!
Thank you! Saw your comment before recording another episode and went south instantly, found a lot of things to explore there
From Australia Thank You and Stay Safe ✌️✌️😎 you will get use to the game 👍👍 and perhaps play at your own pace
Vote here if you like when she reads item descriptions. I like it.
Good luck with Elden ring I'm on my NG+20! I got one tip don't rush boss to boss level up a bit first
NG+20?! WOW 😱 Thank you for the tip!
@Baayya further you get into the game harder the bosses get to before each boss upgrade your weapons & get better armor every boss have different attack patterns
Hi Baya. I love this game. Exploring the world is such a wondrous experience. My top recommendations for this game are:
1) Take your time exploring.
I'll spend some time to check crafting and stuff, please be patient though, I'll be pre recording episodes so it' will take me some time to follow the tips
Thank you for joining me, I hope you will enjoy the episodes!
Thank you for sharing your opinion on this
You'll be able to take your time and make her look how you want to when you get to the Roundtable Hold. There's a mirror next to Fia and you can change everything there.
nice!
A big adventure ahead. 😊
God bless, more soulsborne content. I am hooked.
38:42 you missed one important item that was in that stele!
if you mean a greatsword then I got it later
@@Baayya nope, it was the map XD

yeah good luck baya!! but one word of advice don't rush following the site of grace beam, explore first and find good loot, otherwise you face morgot super early unprepared and die a Bazillion times like i did😭
so don't make the same mistake as i did, ok?
can't promise but I'll try xD I'm sure I'll die a Bazillion times somewhere else lool

Elden Ring is great to play on a gamepad, it was my first game in which I used a gamepad and it turned out to be incredibly convenient
Tarnished & maidenless are ye Baya?!😂 Great game, enjoy your journey to become the Elden Lord!😊🎉
I keep getting new titles with each game 😅 Thank you!

Someone has probably mentioned this already for sure, but to go offline in Elden Ring I think you need to be offline on Steam as well.
We will never get Dark Souls II lel. I hope you enjoy Elden Ring, I like a lot of it, though open world games aren't really my cup of tea. Good luck and kick butt.
Nice videos
This is going to be awesome. Don't be afraid to do long videos. If you're sick of me now, just wait, I'm going to be the insane commenter. You see I haven't even watched one minute of the video and I've already left a long comment. I'll be back.
👏👍🫶
Hi Baya, always enjoy following a new victim, err, player.
You have asked for some guidance and advice.
I do not wish to spoil your first time run through, you only get one. For starters stay in Limgrave. There are tons of nook and crannies to explore and it is safer for you.
1: level up your vigor to 20
2: buy more arrows from Merchant Kale’, Church of Elleh
3: Do not fight groups, use your bow to trigger one foe to come after you, kill with your Great Knife.
Baya, you’re an assassin, creep up behind and back stab singles when you can.
With a little practice and experience this strategy will be second nature to you.
Looking forward to your next video Baya
thank you for the tips! I swapped to Swordsman though, feel like bandit class is not for me right now lol
"Are we gonna have a boss fight straight away?" No, Elden Ring wouldn't have such a massive filter right at the beginning... Soy Ring more like ;)
Roll over those little skulls on the ground, they give you runes.
yeah, there's free runes everywhere on the ground in er. If you don't roll, you can also play football with them!
Only the glowing ones - this game is so generous with runes.
more fresh meat to the grill... chapter 1 fase 1: astonishment
ok so about the editing the crude content works for me because i know the game so well that i can skip forward to interesting stuff, but for the rest i would suggest cutting out world mapping and focus on events like camp raiding, dungeon completion (maybe just rare item grabbing and bosses), npc dialogue and finally the "legacy dungeons" are escencially classic soul levels.
Why don't you just let her play instead of commenting 400 times back seating? Kinda cringe. If she needs help, she'll ask.
@@shoobydoo she likes me.
hey you! Thank you for the tips, glad people told me to not rush the main quest. I was about to but then turned back and found a lot of action :>
Kukri! (😂)
oh noooo xD
Just go with what's important to you. Don't just do boss fights, show how you got there.
Why did u skip dark souls 2?
She didn't, read her community post
Turn Online on, the messages don't spoil anything and will save you from the occasional unfair ambush or needless death. And take every area slowly. I'm 250 hours into my first playthrough and I wish I had just slowed down - it's a bigger game than anyone is prepared for and you will miss lots of NPC's and side quests (unless you want spoilers from a guide).
In-game messages and blood stains spoil a ton, especially when it comes to hidden things.
You should really play Hollow Knight.
I might, in the future :)
Thank you for the tip :)
I'll be back.
damn, I actually swapped those for something else when I created my new character
You see exactly the same whether you on or off line . Don't believe every message.
You missing a lot by skipping ds2, really. Hope you’ll give it a try after you beat ER
I have bought DS2 a while back, I'll definitely give it a try!
@ This is an amazing news!
Only souls games on the channel? I thought after DS3 will be some other type of game
I hope to squeeze in something different but honestly ER probably going to take a lot of my time
After Dark Souls 3 it should've been Bloodborne and not Elden Ring !!! I literally hate Elden Ring with so much passion !!! This game is a cult just like their Pink Glassed Groupies out there !!! Sorry not sorry for the disrespect you Groupies brought that to yourself !!! Sorry I won't fallow this playthrough Baya don't get mad at me for stating my mind about this game !!! I'm gonna be back when you'll start Bloodborne !!! Bye for now 😞😞
Are you ok in the head
Firstly, are you okay?
Secondly, she said several times that she doesn't have PS4 to play Bloodborne, that's why her playthroughs are all KBM
ah, so you chose Elden Ring. I'll sit this one out then... I found the game to be really boring & unenjoyable, hope you'll have a better time with it. Cheers & good luck!
Thank you for joining me on Dark Souls, I understand that ER is not everyone's cup of tea. Hope to see you again
this class and no gamepad ? OUCH
Man, I wish I could play Elden ring again for the first time. It’s a massive game, dont worry too much about missing things, it’s pretty rare yo get everything on a first playthrough of the game. I thought I was meticulous, and thorough in my first run…. boy was I wrong.
this game is alot easier if you play a tanky knight type class . however if you wish to do arcane , make sure you pick up 'reduvia' in limgrave.
