The debuff that Fia in the round table gave you is called a baldachin's blessing. While you hold it in your inventory it will lower your maximum HP. If you use the item it will give you a short amount of poise boost, and get rid of the HP debuff. I suggest using it and if you ever need it just go back to her, she has unlimited amounts. So many people go through hours and hours of the game with this debuff active, I think Miyazaki was trolling us.
Love the way you react to the game. Torrent is immune to poison and rot "floors". The crystal guys are more damaged by strike weapons, Elden Ring above all Fromsoft games encourages use of all types of weapons and usable items. I highly recommend Kukri for throwing weapons. You currently have 3 healing flasks and 1 magic flask so unless you intend using magic move the magic one for the moment. The miners are very vulnerable to firebombs. NPC Invasions have a specific area, once you leave it so do they. Enjoying the videos very much.
I'm glad to hear that! I'll try to use everything to help myself, already bought some throwing daggers lol. I keep using my special skill so having that one blue flask is quite useful at the moment, especially on one specific boss that you'll see a bit later (I pre recorded some episodes). Ooh, okay. When you find a club, hammer, mace, or flail, these will do Strike damage to hard skinned foes like these miners, which is very effective. You probably noticed your swords are bouncing off the miners when you hit them, because their type of damage doesn't penetrate. It's good to have at least one Strike type weapon in your toolkit for places like this.
Another Elden Ring video already, awesome. So glad you're feeling more comfortable in the game now. You're looking extra lovely today btw 😍 Great outfit and hair and everything lol. Have fun.
Hi Baya, so happy to see you have returned. Bandit are difficult at the start. Warrior class is my favorite when it comes to melee fighters. Welcome back to Elden Ring Baya 😊
You can swing to the other side on Torrent with your other attack button. That's why if you're up against a horseman... try not on foot. ... And have double jump.
Wow, love the outfit, and your earrings are pretty neat! Also the panic when you got teleported to the cave was such an accurate moment, I relate too much to that pain
Aha, you are a Warrior now! Nice death montage at the end with the Tree Sentinel, a good way to see this is someone tough to come to fight when you are tougher. You're doing fine with the new build. 12:00 - Here is a good early example of how it's rewarding to take the time in exploring to look up and down anywhere there might be something to find or somewhere to go. If you look down over the edge to your right, you will see something notable. The game is full of places like this. Nerijus disappeared because you ran away from the fighting area. If you go back there, he will reappear and you can fight him with Yura. Be sure to talk to Yura again after you kill Nerijus.
Tree Sentinel is no joke lol. But I'll come back to him again in a bit! Thank you for the encouragement 😊 Okay, hope I'll remember to go back there again, the map is huge! Ahh, yes I got invaded by Nerijus again (I hot some pre recorded episodes) but not sure where to find Yura. He's not in the same location
The teleporter trap is so hilarious to watch, everyone runs around and grabs this specific chest in the first hours. 😁 Don't worry about the sentinel horseman, in time you outlevel *most* things in the base game therefore the difficulty is variable.
It's the games way of telling you to explore. You have to get out of Limgrave for Roundtable to be available but Sellia Crystal Cave is Miyazaki's humour.

The status icon under your stamina bar that looks like a tiny site of grace with a red 'X' on it means that you cannot fast-travel. It's common when you are in a cave or catacombs before beating that cave or catacomb's mini-boss. You can just leave the cave or catacombs to be able to fast-travel again. You also get this status icon from teleportation traps and in that case, you need to rest at a site of grace to remove it.
Explore & search everywhere & everything. You can buy a lantern for the dark caves. You can upgrade your spirit ashes. Careful of the traps!😂 Game is HUGE have fun Baya!😅
Also, stone skin and heavy shields enemies have high repel value, you have to use a weapon with high flick power against them (like hammers) or just two hand the weapon (two handling increase flick power)
Brave girl, you’re in a tunnel full of stone miners (don’t know correct name). A weapon that will do great damage to them is called “Morning Star”. Use this weapon any time you enter tunnels. You will need to travel south to “Weeping Peninsula”, southern portion of “Limgrave”. You can speed-run from “Agheel Lake North” south following the road. Do Not Stop For Anything”, pick a fight, just run! After crossing the bridge turn right (south) and follow the lake shore until it ends (you will see a giant crab, no fighting). A little further south you will find another grace, Agheel Lake South. Almost there, On Torrent, follow the road south, you’ll come upon a bridge, cross at a full run, avoid everything until you cross the bridge, grace to your right. On Torrent continue south on the road (Do Not Speak to the Maiden). You will come upon a giant troll, broken down Carriage, stop short. The “Morning Star” is in the carriage. The Troll, 3 dogs, a soldier to the right will not attack you if avoid them. There are 3 dogs that will attack, 1 on the road, 2 east end of carriage, 1 soldier next to carriage. Take them out, pick up “Morning Star”. Port to any grace site you like. Side note: Further south is a Merchant and a Lost Site of Grace and a Map Fragment, you could Speed-Run on Torrent to them, avoid everything until you see them to the left.
any weapon that does blunt dmg would do great against miners, or anything greatsword-size with the stats to wield it (not like she did in a Stonedigger fight, lol it was such a mess 😂)
51:22 "still got hit" indeed the jumps in this game aren't just for navigation and exploration, there are attacks that you need to jump over such as this one, and even though you can roll them the timing needs to be frame perfect get used to jumping over ground attacks
You need faith to use your powerful heal spells trust me you'll need them! Later in the game. Pick up everything & sell then for ruins to level up or weapon upgrades
The only real reason for heal spells is if you go all in on magic and any heal spell, except the quick heal, is very powerful against a specific enemy.
Want to give you a couple non-spoiler advises. -1) First, do not use dual-wield in the beginning of the game (wielding two weapons of the same class - two swords, two spears, etc). Why? - One of the reasons you saw in the cave with troll-boss, where your one-handed weapon bounced off of enemies. Also the same happens with the enemies holding big shields. Weapon bounces - your combo interrupts. Not a good thing. Wielding weapon in the two hands can easily solve these problems (press E+left mouse or E+right mouse). - The second reason is when you dual wielding you should upgrade two weapons at once, and this is kinda hard for non-somberstone weapons. You simply don't have enough resources for it in the beginning. - The third reason is dual wielding consume much-much more stamina to perform attacks than anything else. Yeah, your damage per second will be higher, but only on the higher level of stamina. In the beginning you can do like three swings and then run out of stamina. - The last fourth reason is when you wield any weapon in two hands your damage with this weapon increases by 10% as well as poise damage. Poise damage determines how fast your enemy will fall down nad be open for riposte. Remember the troll-boss? He was stance-broken a couple of times, but you haven't crit him because his crit spot was on his head, not a butt:) And Duelist kneeling on 1:04:21 - the sound you heard is the sound of broken stance when enemy can be riposted. There are some weapons that consists of two - like paired swords, paired curved swords etc, like in DS3. But these weapons will be much later in the game (there is one exception which you can get very early but I wont spoil you that:) Also it is not the type of weapon you would want to use) and they share the same problems with dual-wielding except of the second reason - paired weapon counts as one and therefore upgrades with one set of smithing stones. Back to my point - two-handing weapon allows you to perform powerful charged attack which deal significant amount of both damage to health and damage to poise. You can either jump and press left mouse+shift while in the air or hold left mouse+shift to charge the attack. Also you can do light attacks too while you're jumping. Hope you'll try some of it) !! -- !! Important note - single-handed weapon can do all of these too, but two-handing has higher damage per hit and higher poise damage. Also weapons has different moveset depending on your way holding it - one or two hands. 2) The second is simple - try to get to every single corner of the locations you're visiting and dungeon you're exploring. Look at all directions - up, down, back. Check everything and everywhere. Even if you think "Oh, its just a wall/deadend/window, I see nothing so why should I go there". I can't tell you more without spoilers. There is so much missable things in the game. But also prepare - in 7 out of 10 cases you'll find nothing) but other 3 are worth it. I hope my words will not ruin your experience. I just tell you things I would want to know before my first playthrough. Especially dual-wileding. Its just a trap for newbies. But, if you want to have some almost-dual-wielding experience without actually dual-wield something, I can help you - go to the ruins where the chest teleported you to some cave in Caelid. This ruins has a secret, and Torrent (your steed) knows it :) The thing you can find is my favorite one. And not only mine. Maybe you will love it too. Good luck!
You make a lot of good points here. I would like to add that dual wielding can be both quite fun and effective early in the game with tactics like jumping L1 attacks, and especially if you put ashes of war on the swords which cause elemental damage of some sort (magic, fire, sacred, etc.). And if you get your hands on two greatswords, they can be super effective with dual wielding, again, especially with the jump attack. I often start off a combat with an enemy by running in with a jumping L1. And if I keep doing jumping L1's even just standing in place in front of the enemy, it often keeps staggering the enemy and it never gets a chance to attack before I kill it. This works even before leveling or changes affinities on the swords. Two-handing one greatsword is a very good way early in the game to get the most out a melee/Strength build. R2 attacks and jumping attacks while two-handing a greatsword are especially effective. Which reminds me, I highly recommend fully exploring the entire Gatefront Ruins first thing. There are several important and useful things to acquire there.
The Warrior starts with two Scimitars. When holding both in either hand, press L1 to attack with both. These L1 attacks deal more damage than R1 and applies status effects (Poison, Bleed, Cold) at a faster rate. This starting class offers a way to practice and get accustomed to power-stanced curved swords, which is extremely powerful when fully developed.
It would be cool if you can enable online just for the messages which are pretty funny. It doesn't make a difference in your world and you're still playing alone.
@@Baayya Elden Ring is not like other FromSoft games, in my experience you only get invaded if you have called for another player's help already. If you do get around to doing the occasional live stream it would be cool to get viewers help vs particular bosses.
Just finished your Ep 1 and I can highly recommend to feel free and dump the entire recording of your playthrough. You'll be surprised on how many people will sit through the entire 2-3 hr video watching you wonder around and making natural discoveries.
Elden Ring is built to use them for assistance. You have to be more powerful and tuned in to beat some of the early enemies especially if staying offline
Charged attacks and jumping attacks do Extra Poise damage. Although your swords aren't going to do a lot of damage against those trolls you can break their stance with charged attacks and jumping attacks. Look for the yellow spot on their face to get the critical. Most people believe that the difficulty early game is meant to teach the player to come back later when they're stronger. Did you ever clear out the gate front ruins? I see you found the map marker, but there's still some other stuff there that you might want to look for. Vigor to 20 priority imo.
Buy a torch. Then look for another merchant later that sells torches for invisible enemies. Find a bow. I have had several instances where I've killed things at range and didn't have to even get near them.
You can't fast travel out of caves. Just walk to the entrance or exit and fast travel from there. When you're in the open world you can fast travel whenever you want, as long as you're not in combat. You don't have to be at a sight of Grace to fast travel. Back step when opening a chest and you won't get caught in the trap.

This starting class offers a way to practice and get accustomed to power-stanced curved swords, which is extremely powerful when fully developed.
I wandered into a nerd convention section!
It would be cool if you can enable online just for the messages which are pretty funny. It doesn't make a difference in your world and you're still playing alone.
I prefer playing offline but I guess I could put a vote to see what people prefer more
@@Baayya Elden Ring is not like other FromSoft games, in my experience you only get invaded if you have called for another player's help already.
Those undead revive until you hit them while reviving. No kind of weapon you need to find
Sacred Blade kills them immediately.

You did beat dark souls without summons, why start using them now? :/
Because it is fun to play off of them and she wants too.
Better yet get a lantern and equip it on your fast menu.
Took me a few hours to not sit at the site of grace for travel. Ah those souls-lite mechanics. 😂
Horse combat is horrible in ER, the very most of players just avoid it and use Torrent to platforming and travelling only
Horse combat isn't bad when using a bow or spells. But for melee, I agree, it's pretty awful.
It can be fun with a colossal or with bleed weapon. Some encounters are much more pleasant to fight on horse.
Easiest way to beat any Dragon

Exhaust dialogue reminder. (Suggest reading my comment from the last video, that starts with "okay I watched the whole video".)
Using the summons during a 1-on-1 fight? Have you no dignity? 😱
She is having fun and playing off of them as partners so yes she has dignity, do you?
like all souls games, investing in hp is best bet, safest bet, tankiest bet.there is no point going for heavy armour, absolutly zero point.some girls r attractive but not cute, but this youtuber is prettiest and cutest at the same time, i wish i ever had girlfriend like her....all men should dream about her....
Elden Ring is very much about attrition so having HP is v. good. Armour is useful but not upgradeable so most players go for the style 😄
Where are you from, hornyman? She's cute, but not ZE CUTEST GAL SHOW BOBS PLS
