Great video! I am feeling much like Desi these days. I can barely walk upright sometimes. My husband and I had an amazing camping vacation in Chicago! Yes, Chicago! Amazing camping! Our truck was a beast! Very thirsty, but we pulled that 2205s fully loaded through downtown Chicago and back! I am so grateful that we have you as friends. I hope we can get to the east coast and meet in person!
Hi! (sorry for the late response :) ) Luckily Desi is feeling a bit better so hopefully things are better with you also! And wow! That sounds like quite the adventure. Would love to hear what must do items you had on the list!! And thank you - we would love to meet up sometime. If you do decide to come this way, just shoot us an email. We truly appreciate all the support over the past few years.
Been to LL Bean and the outlet stores, but sadly missed the breakfast burrito. 😂😂. Love the bridge and the island, but seals!!! 🦭 so cool😂. Yum!! Lobster Rolls-my favorite. 😢😢. Looks like y’all had a great time. We will have to check some of these spots out the next time we are in Maine. Hope you put us on your radar next time you are headed to Maine. 😂 looking forward to your upcoming videos.
Lol - Troy never misses a breakfast burrito! We were so excited to see it. We didn't know that was a possibility - Troy thought he saw it first but couldn't get it on film. Then I was just filming the ducks and saw what I thought was a stick. I wasn't sure I even was able to get it on the phone until we got back to the camper and could look at it on the ipad. We did have a good time - short trip this time. Hoping we can combine the next one with a stop over to see you!! Take care - hope all is well!
It was! We didn’t know it existed until we drove over it and stopped. We had the trail on our to do list but it is always nice to find those other out of the way stops!
Lived in Maine for 10 years, and visited for many more. Camden is a fun town. Pricy. Camden State Park is a great place to camp. The top of Mt Batty offers beautiful views of the harbor and town. Rockland has the North Atlantic Blues Festival in July every year. Two days of world-class blues music. One of the best in the country. The festival is in the park with the harbor as a backdrop. Very cool. Red's in Wiscasset? Best lobster roll in the state. Just is. And the beer in Maine is fantastic. Now, please excuse me. I'm hungry and thirsty.
Thanks for the tips on places to see - great suggestions. And might have to plan our next trip in July! We have definitely sampled some of the breweries in Portland and agree!! Can't wait to sample a few more haha. Thanks for the watch!
Hi! Hope you are doing well! It really was - we didn't know it was there until we drove over and stopped. Cool to find the unexpected! Yes - we were disappointed in the cash only lol. But we found that alot so - better planning next time!
Check out McLoon’s Lobster shack in S. Thomaston. Enjoy an excellent lobster roll while watching lobster boats unload their catch! Stop at Owl’s Head light on the way to or from McLoon’s.
Thanks for the recommendation! Have not heard of that area but looked it up and will be putting that on the list for our return trip! Love watching the boats roll into the harbor. Thanks for the watch!
@@WinesPinesandCanines If you ever make it up to the Bangor Brewer area let us now. Greenville / Moosehead area is real nice too. I highly recommend Mooscreek RV resort too.
Will do! Have been to Bangor a few times but not for a number of years. Stayed in Ellsworth that time (visiting Acadia) Will look up Mooscreek - thanks for the tip!
Thanks for sharing all of your stops! We live right next door in New Hampshire and Freeport and Boothbay are favorites to visit! We’ve never been to Bailey Island, though…going to have to check that one out!
Thanks for the great camping suggestions; we definitely want to tour the area in the future. LOL to the thumbnails! Loved that.
Ha! Thank you!! We will be making a return trip in the future - imagine fall would be a great time to visit.
Thanks for the video. I was in Maine near Bar Harbor and Acadia in May of 2023. Loved it.
It really is a great state to visit! Hope you and Snickers are doing well!

Hi guys, nice to see you again. 👋
Thanks! Hope you have been having a good summer of camping?

Hi guys, great trip! That bridge was fascinating. I sure could use a good lobster roll 😊

Welcome to Maine!! I have lived here my whole life and have not visited some of those sites.
Thanks! We have been a few times but always discover something new! It is a great state to explore. Thanks for the watch - appreciate.

This might be on the list of places to go! We have three mutts, though and would need to figure that out 😊
Yes - three would be challenging at times! But fun! Do they all enjoy traveling?
@@WinesPinesandCanines oh yea, all of our trips have to take them into account. We're primarily off grid, at least 95% of the time.

We really enjoyed our time in NH as well. Stayed in Lincoln and visited the Kanc, Franconia Notch and Littleton. Had a great time!
