Hi Turtle! Hope you are having a good fall so far! We have used those dividers for years - first at our house for that pesky cabinet over the fridge lol and then in our campers. They work great and are so inexpensive at IKEA compared to other brands. Hope they work as well for you! And hope you are having a happy fall camping season!
I did the sofa armrest tables in my '22g19fbs and my mini schnauzer found it was a great way to get on and off the bed in short order. I thank you and Zoey thanks you, too.
Hello found your channel today and binge watching the afternoon away. Love the toddlers shoes and dog bowl holders. Getting some great tips from past videos as well ..enjoy the journey 🤗 Take care xxx
Thank you! And looks like you had a nice trip as well! We are thinking of heading that way next year if Desi is still doing well. Looking forward to watching your videos to give us some ideas!
I might be showing my age but my #4 would have been "I Wanna Be Your Man"-- The Beatles! Loved the rechargeable light as grandson loves a nightlight in EPro bunk. Shoes will be great next time backup help leaves my steps in a mud puddle!
That song would work as well! That was the fun part of coming up with the titles - a few different ones worked. Yes - I think they are marketed as bunkbed lights but they work great all over the camper. Thanks for the watch - much appreciated!
Thanks! We really like it - more useful than we even thought. And the darn thing still had a charge even though we hadn't been on a trip for 4 months (as you know!)
Thank you :). He is actually doing much better than the vets expected! He is quieter and less active but still happy. He was given about 6 months and we are at almost 20 months so very thankful. And if you ask him - there is nothing wrong that a treat won’t fix lol. Thanks for the positive thoughts - very much appreciated!
Been watching RV videos for 5 years now and until yesterday I had never heard of this channel RUclips usually recommends this content, I wish I had found you earlier
Thank you! He is doing very well all things considered :) The vets are pleased and we hope to take him on a few trips soon. Thank you for the watch and hope all is well!
Great to see you guys again. 57 this morning in Florida. #1: Come on baby light my fire. #2: Pop goes the weasel. #3: All about that bass. #4: I wanna be your dog cruella. #5: Hammer time.
Hi Ken! That is chilly for Fla! and lol - yes but with a twist on the song list! The last was Coffee Time by Natalie Cole (we could not find anything about coffee!) but really wish we had thought of Hammer TIme! Hats off on that one haha!!
You two always have the best mods and finds! I've been missing your vids, glad you're back! I MUST have some of those lights! And I suspect you just started a trend with those toddler shoes. LOL
Bill knew most of the songs. 😂😂. He’s so much better at that than me. Great mods. We really liked those lights and that’s so smart to use toddler shoes for the dirt and mud. 😂😂But it is definitely whimsical with the steps having actual feet. I like the flower hanger for Desi’s bowl too. 😂😂
Troy came up with many of them lol. I came up with the "all about that bass". I wanted him to sing it but he would not accomodate me on video lol. Hope all is going well! Heading south this year again?
Good to hear that you guys are getting back out on the road! Cody and I just got home a couple of hours ago from an 8 day swing through Nevada and Utah. We visited Great Basin National Park first. Nice park, but in the biggest cell phone dead zone I've ever seen. Bring paper maps! Then it was off to Utah to visit the three parks I missed last summer: Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands. I learned that Cody is definitely not a hunting dog while near the orchards at Capitol Reef. He's terrified of deer! While in the Moab area, we stayed at Big Bend campground for three nights. Cody loved playing in the Colorado River every afternoon. I think it was the high point of the trip for him! He definitely was NOT a fan of the drive down Shafer Trail at Canyonlands, though. I guess he's afraid of heights, too.
Hi! Glad you and Cody are getting out on the road! We have not been to Great Basin so thanks for the tip! We haven't been to Capitol Reef but visited Arches and Canyonlands on our first rv trip ever. Very memorable. And LOL on poor Cody and the deer. Sounds like he is having an amazing time - it is so much fun to get to enjoy it with them!
@@WinesPinesandCanines He's been close to horses, cows, elk, moose and even a bison without batting an eye. But he was sure that a doe and a couple of fawns were going to kill us!
Thank you! I believe they are a size 7 or 8. They didn't have a size on them and purchased at a thrift store. But they are about 7" long :) Thanks for watching!
Love your mods have used many of them. Quick question have you ever had your fridge doors open partially while traveling? If so how did you solve it? Have a 2023 GeoPro 19FBS. They chanced the fridge to a magic chef with glass doors
Thank you - glad they have been helpful! So we haven't had a problem with our fridge but we have the older propane/110 and not the newer 12V. I have seen different styles of rv fridge door latch on amazon before though. Hopefully one of those could help as that is definitely not a fun way to start a trip!
Next time you take a door off temporarily, try popping the pins in the hinge itself. Removing a door by the hinge does not always make it fit back again properly. That's why the pins pop out. A small screwdriver and a hammer applied to the bottom of the hinge will cause the pin to raise up. Do this in the house as well - same thing.
Yes - great tip! We have done this at our house so not sure why we weren't able to do the same in the rv. May not have had a hammer and wanted to complete the project haha! Thanks for the watch!
Great to see you back and with such great tips. I'll be using several of them. For the contest... 1) Light My Fire - Doors 2) Pop Goes the Weasel 3) All About That Bass - Megan Trainor 4) I Wanna Be Your Dog - The Stooges 5) Blue Swede Shoes - Elvis 6) Coffee Time - Natalie Cole
Hi Leon! Great to hear from you as always - hope you had a great summer of camping! And you nailed the songs!! If you would like a sticker you can email us and we will send one out!
Welcome back guys! Good ideas! Love the popper for the screen door. FYI finished our trip to Glacier and Grand Tetons! Awesome trip but only saw one moose and nothing else. Still a great trip and no issues with our rig. Hope you get to do some traveling soon.
Hi Lee! Look forward to hearing about the trip but definitely a lack of wildlife! Glad the GeoPro made it through with no issues. And yes -definitely ready to get back on the road for a bit. Have a great week!
Love your mods as all of them are great! The Ikea mods, the pop socket & the toddler shoes will be a great addition to my own trailer. While I love the flowerpot holder, I made my own similar mod. Having 2 Labs, I needed a bigger water bowl. I bought a 2 qt stainless steel deep bowl and used a command hook (in the same spot) to hold it in place while camping. I made the small camping tables and they are great. I sometimes use it to hold my puzzle books and even my phone during the night. Thanks for sharing your mods.
Thank you :) Sometimes its the small things. And great idea on the command hook! That is the limitation with that mod - they only sell a 4 and 6" so you would constantly be filling them with a large dog! Glad the camping tables are working out - Troy does love his. Uses it constantly! Any fall camping plans? And thank you for the continued support - really appreciate it!
Hi! So in our camper there is a reset box under the couch (have to take the front piece off). There are some instructions on it on how to reset. If that doesn't work - there is a way to manually bring it in but we have never had to do it. If you search "schwintek manual override" you can find a few manufacturer videos. Hope that helps!
Hi! Sorry it took a bit to respond (been away!) We have a small trash can in a cabinet in the kitchen but we also have a collapsible one we bought off Amazon. It is made by Coghlans and is called “pop up trashcan”. We use binder clips to keep it closed when not in use and store it behind the couch. We will keep it outside when cooking / during the day when we are there and then secure the trash bag at night in the camper or truck. Hope that helps!
Just ordered the dividers from IKEA, great idea for things you do not want to fall over. Thanks.

Love the mods! Love seeing Desi!
Thank you as always :) And he enjoyed his guest spots but insisted on being taken back to his trailer for snacks directly after haha!

Thank you - that is much appreciated! Do you have a GeoPro / Epro or a similar camper?
what great ideas and so simple. will definitely look at using these in our camper!
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful!
