@@mdoucette45 If you’re worried about reach just size up, the front triangle is smaller than other bikes in the same category. I find Giant bikes run a size smaller usually and many riders second that opinion. I’ve never owned a Giant bike however, just hearing those rumours from forums and such.
@@tomtripptree5079 A great ride on packed snow. I just completed the Mt. Washington Fatbike to the clouds race on February 28. The shifting is quick and precise. It is light weight. The 4 and 1/2 inch tires are great on the groomed trails. The braking is smooth and efficient. The dropper post comes in handy on those steep downhill sections. The ride is still great when the snow is gone. On several occasions I have opted to ride my fatbike instead of my full suspension Fuel Ex 9er. Pure fun!
@@shaymtbrider7244 awesome. I am reconsidering my preoreder for x caliber 7 and just get a farley 5 for year round. What do you think. I live in Toronto and wanna ride all year.
@@syedzgaming v good choice yes u can ride fat bikes all year around n they are lot of fun . Farley is good bike there are some other in market too salsa beargrease full carbon giant Yukon 1 or 2 . Personally i love Yukon 1 good bang for ur buck . U can also buy 2 nd set of wheels for summer if u dont want to ride fat all year round n also u can add suspension fork if u want so basically u have 2 bike in one . I ride fat bike with no suspension all year round with no problem
2022 Giant just spec so much better than trek. And cheaper while it’s in stock. Also the geo is spot on for trail riding than trek is more for long snow cruise
sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me.
Just got the Trek Farley 5 - couldn't be happier. Great bike for the price. Very accurate review.
Hows youre bike now?
I love my Yukon 2 the geometry is perfect 👍
The reach looks short on those! How does it feel on the trail?

Excellent review! I ended up getting the Farley 9.6. I absolutely love it!
Have a 9.6 on order can you tell me what you like about the bike and what type you do

@@michaelclark4842 That’s great to here and thanks for replying I am trying to get people opinion on this bike
Very well done with your review. One of the best I’ve seen.
Thanks
Simply superb
What would be your second choice?
Great video! 👍🏽
Txs for the video. Do they work on sand or is only on snow?
😂 i ride fat bikes all year long on sand snow mud trails

thinking of converting one of these trek to electric can you tell me the size of the bottom bracket
I think you should be able to find the bottom bracket size on Trek's website
@@CyclingWithSully thanks will have a look
All fat bikes are 120 mm
My rear derailleur doesn't have a clutch, ha!
I prefer the 26" sized wheels, they are more stable and lighter.
Trek all day long
Nah. Don"t need a fat bike. I live in Hawaii. Stay warm guys. Aloha.😎🤙
Nice video bro, would like to know more about fat bike, more towards fat bike trail bike, thank you.

@Ricardo Grayson instablaster :)
Geometry wise giant is better then others
On paper, that reach looks super short though!
@@mdoucette45 what size u r looking my large has 470 which is not short
@@shaymtbrider7244 on the giant Canada website it says the Yukon has a 426 for reach for a size large. That’s really short!
@@mdoucette45 sorry my bad i just saw but i rode it for 1.5 years n never felt its small actually i put 50 mm stem n that was perfect for me
Please pass me the Salsa.
Fatties are 4 season bikes, from Central Kentucky
Talks way too slow in an annoying robotic tone. Simply regurgitates widely published info from each bike. Too much blabbering about himself.
Completely agree. I always use the playback speed control on these vids and set to 1.75….works great 👍
I’ll stay away from Trek in general. Norco Bigfoot is much better than Trek Farley.
