It must have been a pirated copy. I wish I had known. what I know now. That is not ordinary copy of Fallout 4........... When I installed the game. It came with a warning, that said, 'maybe cause death'. I thought it was the developers trying to be funny. When I booted up the game, it wouldn't work properly, it would be a black screen. But then I messed around with the system files and I managed to get it working. I thought it was just my PC acting up. Because my mom wouldn't let me buy a new graphics card. The first thing I notice was that there was already a save file on the game. I thought that was strange. I opened it up and it took me to the character creation menu............. except......... the man standing in front of the mirror......... was DEAD! After I picked up my baby. The screen went black and I figured once again, maybe my, "oh PC bugged out". But all of a sudden it skipped to what seemed like a few hours in the game, I was back in the wasteland, I was talking to Preston Garbey. The only option it gave me........ was strangle. So I pressed the button and what happened next. Was an extremely graphic scene of my character cutting the circulation to Preston Garbey. He screamed in pain. And it wasn't lik any of the usual voice acting..... This sounded REAL..... I swear when I looked into his eyes it was like the textures got hyper-realistic and I thought I saw a reflection of a person in it........ I thought I saw MYSELF!!! Not only that, but the familiar Fallout UI, went from being nucular green to...... BLOOD RED!!! I've been playing this game for a long time now, and I've started to notice some things........ I feel like there's shadows in the corner of my room. In REAL LIFE. I played for another 20 hours. literally exploring every crack and crevise...... until finally...... i found the first NPC I've seen in a literal day. It was my DEAD WIFE! and she was still frozen like she was in the CRYOCHAMBER. I started doing some research (on the dark web) I found a post that said. Actually, that during the production of Fallout 4, one of the beta testers was forced to play the game for 20 hours straight to see if there was any bugs with the game being played. for 20 hours straight. And the man DIED..... of dehydration. And then Todd Howard buried the body..... and he didn't want anyone to know. Something is not right. I feel like there's creatures all around me, Like in the game. I can see map markers in the distance. Here's the worst part. I decided to webcam my friend but when I opened the call he said "Why are you handing out with PRESTON GARBEY?". And I said "What? I'm all alone." To my shock..... when the webcam turned on...... it wasn't my friend, as I expected...... It was THE Todd Howard, staring back at me! But his eyes were different, they were more evil..... His eyes were BLACK, and as though he had been crying blood! He opened his mouth and only static came out. I was terrified of what would happen. Through the static though i could hear something..... He said "if you die in the game...... you die in REAL LIFE..... Finish the game." I hope this isn't my last entry..... things are getting really bad now. I went back to that neighbor's garage sale, and it turns out...... they've never even lived there. If I can end on one thing it's to say this. If you find a pirated game. at a garage sale............ DON'T play it.
fo4's story actually got scrapped at the very end of development. We are talking 3 months before the E3 reveal. Originally there was no Brotherhood at all, they didn't want any previous factions, Nate is supposed to be a synth and Father is trying to prove that they'd finally got to the point where their Synths could replace actual people which would both help humanity survive way better and make it possible for proper rebuilding to actually start. Some of the old files are still in the game because they couldn't get rid of them all in time, the doctor you're supposed to meet with at The Institute but you end up never meeting him has an entire string that alludes to the fact that you have zero memories of anything from before the bombs dropped, they left the robot crows in as well which goes literally everywhere you do to track your progress, Deacon has a few places set up to monitor important places you're supposed to go in the story confirming that he was also supposed to do a secondary eval on your progress through your test. Hell Kellogg's dialog about him still finding it hard to believe that you haven't figured out that you're not human is even left in Tons of little things left in, and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they left them on purpose as sort of a what if type thing like the retards that pretend Deckard is a replicant
Sole Survivor: Yeah I lived here 200 years ago, before the war. Theres more to my backstory if you- Preston: Damn, thats crazy. Anyways, theres a settlement nearby that needs our help. I'll mark it on your map.
He does have a bionic eye. Could very well have taken a picture of you. We also don't know if the institute did/didn't interact with vault 101 after taking shawn but before Sole Survivor wakes. They could very well have been the cause of all the other pods failure.

Nate wasn't supposed to be the soldier who executed prisoners in cold blood. The reason it is? Well that's because Emil Pagliarulo is an impulsive writer who doesn't considers the impact of making changes to lore. Also, he doesn't use a main design document and actually encourages game studios to not use them...which, of course, has led to the creation of all our favourite game: 'Starfield'.

the Kidnaping segment bugs me, Kellogg takes Shaun and kills the Spouse along with the 10 other residents in Cryo-sleep, but he leaves the Sole Survivor alive "as a backup" despite killing 10 other people who could have also acted as backups and where traped in the Cryo-pods this is one of the clumsiest ways for the player to be named "the Sole Survivor"
Did they even explain why they needed shaun specifically? Even if they needed his and nora's child you'd think they'd just yoink some sperm and egg cells off your corpses in case things didn't pan out.

Have you ever cared for a baby? It can be pretty tiresome and monotonous. Especially doing so while almost always sleep deprived. I'd imagine you'd probably be wary of first but slowly give in to trusting it over a long enough time.
those bots dont make sense in the first place. one of the main building blocks of fallout lore is that its world’s computers arent as advanced or compact, so how does codsworth have the ability to stay level at flight let alone everything else

There were superintelligent super computers pre-Bethesda with the implication that they may have been at fault for the war just because they got bored. The computation possible for a Mr. Handy isn't that crazy when considering these were like a CRAY business computer size. At least one of the writers of the games has straight up said that physics works differently in Fallout cause vacuum tubes could just not be used in all the advanced technology.

I do love Fallout, even 4, but I am so glad they point out how messy civilization is. Of all the issues with the Bethesda titles, the empty bottles, and papers, and rubble strewn about everywhere is my single biggest pet peeve.
Fallout 4 is a good game mechanically, but wow the writing is just... Who thought it was a good idea to put Nick Valentine, the synth, in Diamond city? Diamond city, where the main conflict is built up to be "Are synths and the institute real?? Is the Mayor an institute spy???" Seriously, are synths real? Lets go ask they guy with a damaged face plate and exposed sparking wires that lives 3 houses down to find out. And the main story introduces Diamond City and Nick like 10 minutes apart. No build up, no mystery. Just "are synths real? Yes, yes they are, now go help another settlement for Preston." They really expect the player to do all the heavy lifting of this story by hoping you get distracted with side quests so there's more time between the question and the answer.
@@glavkomat it's poorly and inconsistently written because Bethesda, but most people have some idea that synths, at least the Gen 1 ones, and the Institute are real. About 40 years before the Survivor thaws out, the Minutemen attempt to organize a coalition of the various settlements in the Commonwealth. What happens next is unclear, but either the Institute sends a synth to participate in the talks and it goes haywire, or they send a synth to kill the delegates. Either way, that's when people obviously start to get paranoid about the Institute. The people of Diamond City are supposed to specifically be afraid of the Gen 3s, the ones that can pass for human. Nick obviously doesn't. I think there's some throwaway dialogue somewhere about how he's been around long enough and helped enough people that he's won the benefit of the doubt, even if that still doesn't quite hold up.
Uh-oh someone didn't pay attention. My brother in christ, they have an obvious synth living in the city and even doing high profile work. The people know synth are real. They also know humanlike synth are real since there was an incident where one went haywire and started killing people. The only things is they don't know who might be one, whether the institute really abduct people, how to recognize synths(which adds to their paranoia) and what the institutes plan is. There are many things wrong with this story and worldbuilding, sure This isn't one of them

Kellogg is just an underwhelming character in general. Man is supposed to be The Institute's deadliest operator, but he is super easy to track, just watches you raid his hideout, and barely reacts in the epic confrontation. I thought he was going to be unkillable in the first fight

When I was 14 years old I really wanted to play the new game "Fallout 4", but my parents wouldn't buy it for me. So, one day I went to a garage sale low and behold, there was a copy of Fallout 4, but the disc was just an ordinary disc, and someone had just written "FO4" on it in a marker pen. It must have been a pirated copy.
I wish I had known. what I know now. That is not ordinary copy of Fallout 4...........
When I installed the game. It came with a warning, that said, 'maybe cause death'. I thought it was the developers trying to be funny.
When I booted up the game, it wouldn't work properly, it would be a black screen. But then I messed around with the system files and I managed to get it working.
I thought it was just my PC acting up. Because my mom wouldn't let me buy a new graphics card.
The first thing I notice was that there was already a save file on the game. I thought that was strange. I opened it up and it took me to the character creation menu.............

After I picked up my baby. The screen went black and I figured once again, maybe my, "oh PC bugged out". But all of a sudden it skipped to what seemed like a few hours in the game, I was back in the wasteland,

and what happened next. Was an extremely graphic scene of my character cutting the circulation to Preston Garbey. He screamed in pain. And it wasn't lik any of the usual voice acting..... This sounded REAL..... I swear when I looked into his eyes it was like the textures got hyper-realistic and I thought I saw a reflection of a person in it........ I thought I saw MYSELF!!!
Not only that, but the familiar Fallout UI, went from being nucular green to...... BLOOD RED!!!
I've been playing this game for a long time now, and I've started to notice some things........
I feel like there's shadows in the corner of my room. In REAL LIFE.
I played for another 20 hours. literally exploring every crack and crevise...... until finally...... i found the first NPC I've seen in a literal day.
It was my DEAD WIFE! and she was still frozen like she was in the CRYOCHAMBER.
I started doing some research (on the dark web) I found a post that said. Actually, that during the production of Fallout 4, one of the beta testers was forced to play the game for 20 hours straight to see if there was any bugs with the game being played. for 20 hours straight. And the man DIED..... of dehydration. And then Todd Howard buried the body..... and he didn't want anyone to know.
Something is not right. I feel like there's creatures all around me, Like in the game. I can see map markers in the distance.
Here's the worst part. I decided to webcam my friend but when I opened the call he said "Why are you handing out with PRESTON GARBEY?". And I said "What? I'm all alone."
To my shock..... when the webcam turned on...... it wasn't my friend, as I expected...... It was THE Todd Howard, staring back at me! But his eyes were different, they were more evil..... His eyes were BLACK, and as though he had been crying blood! He opened his mouth and only static came out.
I was terrified of what would happen.
Through the static though i could hear something.....
He said "if you die in the game...... you die in REAL LIFE..... Finish the game."
I hope this isn't my last entry..... things are getting really bad now.
I went back to that neighbor's garage sale, and it turns out...... they've never even lived there.
If I can end on one thing it's to say this. If you find a pirated game. at a garage sale............ DON'T play it.

I’ve seen cigars on super mutants, railroad members, higher up brotherhood of steel, and some random encounters later in the game ( mostly in the DLCs ). There are some mods that enable you to equip it to settlers’ mouths. Lots of people
He's from the west coast, as we find out while in his memories. Presumably we are to assume that he brought those all the way from San Francisco with him when he moved east. So it's logical to think he would be the only one around who smokes them. However, the idea that he brought, like, eighty years' worth of cigars with him is pretty silly.

the Kidnaping segment bugs me, Kellogg takes Shaun and kills the Spouse along with the 10 other residents in Cryo-sleep, but he leaves the Sole Survivor alive "as a backup" despite killing 10 other people who could have also acted as backups and where traped in the Cryo-pods
this is one of the clumsiest ways for the player to be named "the Sole Survivor"

Have you ever cared for a baby? It can be pretty tiresome and monotonous. Especially doing so while almost always sleep deprived. I'd imagine you'd probably be wary of first but slowly give in to trusting it over a long enough time.
those bots dont make sense in the first place. one of the main building blocks of fallout lore is that its world’s computers arent as advanced or compact, so how does codsworth have the ability to stay level at flight let alone everything else

There were superintelligent super computers pre-Bethesda with the implication that they may have been at fault for the war just because they got bored. The computation possible for a Mr. Handy isn't that crazy when considering these were like a CRAY business computer size. At least one of the writers of the games has straight up said that physics works differently in Fallout cause vacuum tubes could just not be used in all the advanced technology.

I do love Fallout, even 4, but I am so glad they point out how messy civilization is. Of all the issues with the Bethesda titles, the empty bottles, and papers, and rubble strewn about everywhere is my single biggest pet peeve.

Fallout 4 is a good game mechanically, but wow the writing is just... Who thought it was a good idea to put Nick Valentine, the synth, in Diamond city?
Diamond city, where the main conflict is built up to be "Are synths and the institute real?? Is the Mayor an institute spy???" Seriously, are synths real? Lets go ask they guy with a damaged face plate and exposed sparking wires that lives 3 houses down to find out.
And the main story introduces Diamond City and Nick like 10 minutes apart. No build up, no mystery. Just "are synths real? Yes, yes they are, now go help another settlement for Preston." They really expect the player to do all the heavy lifting of this story by hoping you get distracted with side quests so there's more time between the question and the answer.
@@glavkomat it's poorly and inconsistently written because Bethesda, but most people have some idea that synths, at least the Gen 1 ones, and the Institute are real. About 40 years before the Survivor thaws out, the Minutemen attempt to organize a coalition of the various settlements in the Commonwealth. What happens next is unclear, but either the Institute sends a synth to participate in the talks and it goes haywire, or they send a synth to kill the delegates. Either way, that's when people obviously start to get paranoid about the Institute. The people of Diamond City are supposed to specifically be afraid of the Gen 3s, the ones that can pass for human. Nick obviously doesn't. I think there's some throwaway dialogue somewhere about how he's been around long enough and helped enough people that he's won the benefit of the doubt, even if that still doesn't quite hold up.

My brother in christ, they have an obvious synth living in the city and even doing high profile work. The people know synth are real. They also know humanlike synth are real since there was an incident where one went haywire and started killing people.
The only things is they don't know who might be one, whether the institute really abduct people, how to recognize synths(which adds to their paranoia) and what the institutes plan is.
There are many things wrong with this story and worldbuilding, sure
