Tank restorations are truly my favourite thing when it comes to military history
Same here. Seeing old vehicles come back to life is always great
Mr (Ted) Hewes. The legend of Leicestershire...
Bloody heavy work though.
Sweet ride. That first time running it out on the field must have felt incredible. Awesome job. Talented bunch of folks there.
It was awesome!
Wow that transformation is crazy!
Thanks!
@@ArmourgeddonTanksno problem!
Something about a tank just makes every gearhead and rodder interested. I care nothing about the history, but I sure do love the machinery! ALL of them, from every side! Even a crappy tank is still a TANK!
Yup, radial, if it’s not leaking and burning oil, it’s either not working or not a radial.
Excellent summary video, that little bugger must be a blast to drive. Always seemed like it was the Bradley of its day.
Fantastic job chaps, I doubt it looked that good when it was new. Looks like a million bucks now!
Amazing work! Thanks for keeping things like this running and able to be seen!
Our pleasure!
The finished product looks amazing, you all did an outstanding job. Looks like you just got it fresh from the factory, even drives smooth
Thanks so much!
Great restoration, video and presentation.
Thank you very much!
Very interesting, an amazing restoration. How nice to see that you're still able to source a
live Gun for these tanks. I had the idea that everything would have been deactivated by now.
Fantastic work, my Dad drove a Stuart Tower (it towed a 17 pounder) just after war, loads of stories of how quick they were and he had a scar when one bit him when he crashed it on Ex in Egypt. I went the dismount route...Kinda wish I went Armoured Inf :)
The Stuart is one of my favourite light tanks or WW2 and this video has to be my favourite all month
Beautifully done restoration!
Have you seen the AMX13 that the Austrailian Armour Museum have, its basically complete but its rusted to hell. At least the Stuart has a chance to run soon.
Excellent video, beautiful restoration, well done
Thank you! Cheers!
Absolutely beautiful. Very well done
Thank you very much!
You should make longer shows like The Australian Armour & Artillery Museum youtube channel
We are going to as the channel grows. But we will have some longer videos soon
That's so cool and thanks for sharing this.
Glad you liked it!
Allready looks great!
I would love a update of your Jumbo build.
We are currently to busy to continue with the jumbo but we will hopefully carry on with it very soon!
@@ArmourgeddonTanks Hopefully it's busy in a good way. Keep up the great work.
Fantastic work!
Thanks a lot!
Very cool, great little vehicle. Love the Stuarts.
Hi Guys, congratulations on a job very well done, it loo,s absolutely outstanding, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Thanks so much!
I'd say this Stuart is quite early, being an M-3 updated to A1 standards notably by removing the two-sponson wing MG's and welding blanking plates over the holes.
The dripping oil reminds me of Landrovers I owned years ago, if there was oil under the vehicle you knew there was oil in the motor.
The oil bath air filter is very similar to the a/ c delco ones fitted to the MK2 zephyr!
Outstanding work chap’s and very cool the main 37mm gun still works. If Tank Overhaul was still on tv, y’all should get a episode on this tank
What a smooth runner.
Totally Brazen Chariots!!
Instantly thought of Bob Crisp tearing around North Africa commanding his 3RTR troop.
Looks absolutely amazing great job guys thanks for the video really enjoyed it.
Great little museum.
The one thing I noticed is the Stuart is very small. I was surprised.
What a sexy beast, Well done chaps!
Looks like new a nice job
Absolutely fantastic and beautiful job. Would love to come a long with my BSA WM20 served in Malta for a photo shoot. Keep up the good work, all the best 💪👍
That bit about finding bullets in the hull can actually get people importing tanks in trouble depending on country it's going to. Like in the US. If the shipping country didn't clean it out really well you can have problems with importing ammo
Ya, if they were willing to disassemble the vehicle to this point they might have found them😂😂😂
Unless it is an Atomic Bomb,
there should be no problem importing to America.
PS; You can always get ammo at any hood, nationwide.
All my life I've liked the Jeb Stuart tank because of a comic book back in the sixties
The Haunted Tank and Weird War were awesome.
Ditto, and my favorite tank.
Good work chaps 👍😎🎩🎩
Thanks 👍
great blog
awsome
I don have a workshop, nor the money to even buy a scrapped tank, but it'd be nice to own one lol.
One of the Brazil tanks?
Have any of the Brazil Guiberson powered tanks been restored that you are aware of?
Here in the US, there are no known Guiberson tanks, so the Stuart guys tell me.
I have a Guiberson that I have restored and run at engine shows occasionally.
Tem um vídeo no RUclips sobre 16 m3a1 stuart tanks encontrados no Brasil, esse é um deles, reconheci pela escrita EB na lateral, "Exército Brasileiro", motor Guiberson! Eles têm mais alguns para restaurar! Lol
I'm a bit shocked you didn't open and inspect the wheel bearings. Otherwise, the tank looks great. Good job.
Is that a M4A3E2 in the back round?
What is the story behind the paint colours?
ATTACK THE D POINT!!!!
First
Absolutely beautiful restoration, you guys are superb. BRAVISSIMO MAESTROS 🫡👍🏴👌
