@@zali9657 M240i is easily the better car. Easy to make faster in a straight line mod for mod. It also is substantially more balanced as a chassis… the near 50-50 weight really shows. Audi still hangs the motor out over the front of the car and damn it shows when cornering. You need awd and a sports diff just to keep the car tamed and going somewhat in the direction you want. The m240i will smoothly slide through a corner where as the s4 will claw and push through it. Tough to explain until you drive both. The ea839 also has serious design flaws, they can drop some bearings out of the head and they not only are missing from the rocker but also circulate in the motor making sure your block gets ruined too. They’ve revised parks and done recalls on it but haven’t seemed to iron it out fully, making buying all but the most recent produced cars a gamble. B58 have no such widespread issues. They have a few minor common problems but they’re all cheap ($300 or less) for parts and take an afternoon of your time. Too many rebuild videos for the EA839 on YT though… I had a B8.5 S4 and looked into everything when upgrading and skipped the B9 for this reason and also that it is not too much faster than the b8.5 upgrade for upgrade. Felt too close to a side-grade. The 340i MPPSK I replaced it with though… 🔥🔥🔥

I'm happy with any stage 2 FBO N54, N55 or B58 in a daily...out of all of them, my N55 sounded the best, N54 was most unreliable and B58 was fastest due to the ZF8...tuned B58 is as reliable as stock...it's crazy, my N55 would just eat oil and give me drivetrain malfunctions when it was cold out or I got the E85 blend wrong. (Car made too much TQ and would go into limp mode)
Running fbo n55 EWG, no major issues I beat the shit out of it 107k miles, i got Valvetronic exhaust with a catless dp and it’s true it just sounds soooo good, best sounding bmw inline 6 imo

Kind of in the same situation right now. But it is between the 2018-2019 440i GC or the 540i. They are very, very close in price. I am leaning towards the 540i because years ago my wife had the f30 335i and it almost feels like buying back the same car. I just have a love for the trunk of the GC styling.
@@lambokiller99 I would imagine. RS3 is a small car not very spacious. I think any MY24 bimmer would be a good buy with idrive 9 tech coming in which will close the gap on Audi infotainment/map system.

Can confirm. As an owner of a 2021 S4 thats FBO stage 2, our tiny stock turbo falls off after 5-5500 rpm. Wish Audi would have gave us more wiggle room on it from factory.
