The copper hardware finishes this piece. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cry'Dawna..thank you for using all the tool and not just showing your amazing painting skills. you have encouraged me to reach further with my vision. You are delightful to watch and your positive attitude (and hair) is fantastic!!!
The combo of collard greens, copper and the distressed bits are gorgeous 😍. I love this!!
Wow! I'm loving this piece! The combo of colors and materials is outstanding. You've stepped up you channel 10 notches with your new direction. Thanks for all the effort and care you're putting into your explanations. I didn't know I could countersink screw heads by using a drill bit up a size from top of the screw head. Simple but effective. Showing how you use the tools and measure and cut the mechanics really helps me. Thanks. Great work. Love the color and copper.
Thank you so much Carol!!!! :) I try to really sit down and focus when I do my voiceovers so I can be as clear and concise as possible :)
@@BellaRenovare its really having a great impact for me. Thanks again!
@@cesuich that is so great to hear!! Thank you so much for your support ❤️❤️❤️
You have such a bada$$ set of skills, I'm so impressed. Although at this point I'm not interested in construction myself, I enjoyed watching this because it's good knowledge to have even if it's just for minor repairs. 😊 🙏 thanks!
Highly impressed w your skills and you have won my vote for the best furniture artist across the board and I’ve watched them ALL! Way to be! Girl Power! 🔆🙌🏼
Wow, seriously thank you so so so much!!! YES GIRL POWER!!!!
Just beautiful!! Love the dark green and copper together, it's stunning! Love all the information even though most of it is way above my skill level, it's still interesting to see how the piece comes together. Thank you for the great video!!
I learned a LOT from this video! Gorgeous cabinet. Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing what you’re doing on your channel.🌸
A hand full of our subscribers we share suggested I check this video out for the copper handles that would go well with some of the industrial pieces I have started building. I am so glad I did! These are AWESOME!! Well done! Love LOVE your work and story I will make sure to link you when I do something similar to these. Thank you for sharing and I thank our subscribers for sending me over to your amazing channel!
Yay!!!! I am so glad we share subscribers!!! I can’t wait to see what you create!!!! I love your channel as well!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@BellaRenovare ❤❤❤❤
I only just now watched this video, so I don't know if you will see my comment. Your videos are absolutely the best. The tutorial/teaching aspect is without parallel. The woodworking part as you built the base was so easy to understand and follow. I totally agree with other commenters that, while construction may well not be in my future, the knowledge and confidence to make small repairs most definitely is. All your information is amazingly helpful as well as so beautiful!
Wow, thank you! Thank you so much for your kind words it really means a lot!! I always pay attention to comments even on my older videos so I will always see what you say :) I KNOW you could do this!!
The paint color with the copper piping, was spot on!! Great looking piece. TFS😊👍
You are so very welcome :) Thank you so much ❤️❤️ Also...GO SOX!!
Just WOW! I remember you looking at that hutch and hubs said it felt "light", lol It was very well built but you made it even better. I love it and the color is perfect. 🥰
Well, I’m telling you now, my husband is getting a cardboard box on cider blocks!! Dang!! This is beautiful!!!🥰🥰
I watched this video with my husband ... and my God, we are really impressed
Thank you both so very much :)
You are an artist and carpenter. I didn’t think I would like the inside staying original but it just makes the copper and distressing pop even more. This is pretty stunning. I love it. 👍🏼🤍
I'm seeing some copper handles in my future. Love it!
Great information packed into video....learned lots and also learned teacher has some tricks up here sleeve to share🤩 I think your hubby is going to love it! Great piece and copper tubing is very fitting.....thank you for sharing.....really loving extra content and videos😊kim
Very beautifull, and I learn a lot today ,thank you,Love the Copper handles . So different and chique.

You transformed it into a completely different piece of furniture, I love that so much, Chrys'Dawna. Became a stunner.
JUST WOW!! Spectacular!! 😍😍😍😍😍 💕✌🏼

Lady, you are so gifted!! Watching you craft was simply relaxing. Thank you
So glad you got the plant stand!! I love it. Sneaky Pete!!
hahahahahaha I HAD to!! he just rolled his eyes at me lol 😂
That is crazy sweet!! Thanks for sharing all your skills. Please tell us your hubby loved it!
Thank you so much!! He does so he is gone for work and he didn’t get to see me finish it so it was cool to send him the picture!!
Very clever putting the dowel piece inside the copper tubing to attach it to the door! Final finish looks amazing (as always) & I LOVE the copper for handles. Thanks again for sharing 🤩💚🙏🏻
I really love that base; it completely changed the look of the piece. I have to be honest - I'm not one for doing much distressing on anything I do. But it absolutely fits this piece. I bet Chris loves it!
Thank you Lisa!! I wanted it to almost look like a wash, one of the reasons I distress things really is because if us being military also, it is bound to get distressed on its own anyways lol
@@BellaRenovare That's for sure! I remember the condition my bedroom set came in. And that was in 1980, way before the current wave of painting and distressing. lol
Fantastic makeover! Love the base from simple dowels. The copper pipe hardware looks amazing with the green "wash".
green and copper is right up there with navy blue and copper and black and copper, some of my FAV. color combos!!!
Thank you so much Jay :)
Love this transformation. The copper with the green looks great. I have always enjoyed learning different painting techniques from you. Now with the new content I am learning so much more! Thank you.
I love how detailed you are about all of the creative aspects of your pieces. You are really good at teaching us what you’re doing. Thanks for sharing your incredible knowledge and skills with us!
Totally impressed with the new base you made, unlike others we're seeing on other channels. And the copper pipe handles are awesome.
I learned so much from this video. Thank you so much! The piece turned out beautifully. UNIQUE!! Your husband should be very proud ❤❤
Smashing! Thanks for the tip on sealing with Mama’s Butta!

Beautiful piece. Perfect mashup of traditional and industrial. You're so good at what you do!!!
Thank you so much Robin :)
Thank you for the awesome video! I loved the cabinet in its original state as it has great bones but I love your mancave interpretation! Any man would be happy to have that in their space. It’s the perfect man bar!
Thank you so much, so believe it or not but it is superrrr light I can carry the top with one hand, it looked a lot more solid than it really was :)
Boy Oh Boy ! What Can I Say ! WOW! WOW WOWZA!
❤️❤️❤️ You Are Just INCREDIBLE! IT Looks BRILLIANT 👍👏👏
Thank you so much 😀
Love those handles! What a great idea that is. Thank you for taking the time to make another great one.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much :)
Love how that turned out and the instruction was very well done. The copper hardward is fantastic! When I purchased my first house years ago I bought one of those yellow miter boxes for my first DIY project. That brought back memories.
Thank you so much for bringing me on this recreation. It’s beautiful and you did a GREAT job
Thank you so much Christine :)
WOW!! What a transformation! And such incredible skill and talent!! Love it!
Thank you so much Ashley :)
Thank you for showing how to do the legs and handles. You showed it in an easy to understand way. There is hope for me yet.
Love your additional content! That base is bomb! But now I know how much you love your husband…one dark paint color?! 😂
Hi Crys’Dawna. Wow! Girl you put in some work on this piece, and it turned out awesome!! Love the color also. The copper handles are fantastic!! I’m sure he’ll love this makeover.👍💐🥰
I literally had to pause this while you were explaining how to do the legs to write this... YOU ARE A GOD DAMN GURU GIRL!!!! Our title on our IG DMs is so warranted as literally I learn so so much from you it’s crazy!!!
Hahaha I love you friend, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
@@BellaRenovare hahaha oh I love you too girl! You’re literally like the best I swear...!!!
Oh man! I love this!! I would never have the patience to do it, but I can appreciate your work and feel quite satisfied 😉 I’ll bet your husband is glad you went back for that piece.
Love this! I really like watching the top by step process! I also like this style versus the blending paint- less chaotic to the eye. Thanks for sharing your talent!
Great combination of colors!
Thank you!
Firstly so glad you went back for the plant stand as was sad you'd left it before...
Superb renovation as usual, love a good make over as well as repaint job. 😍🤩 colour scheme is so fitting for this piece. Xxx
Yes please to staging after. Your videos are never too long 😁
Deal! Just don't get sick of me lol
I love this piece! So beautiful.
I like the whole look, but I really love the way that you made the brace at the bottom. Great job Crys’Dawna 🥰 🤓
Thank you so much 😀
watched from beginning to end. You are such a good teacher!
Thank you so much Elizabeth :)
Hello! I follow you from Catalonia, Spain. the change has been spectacular !! Thanks for putting subtitles in Spanish !!
I love how detailed you are in your instructions. And that color is Perfect!!!
You are so creative! I think you amaze me more every video, if that’s even possible. The copper hardware AND the base? 🤩 Both incredible! I’d say this was a Home Run! No… a GRAND SLAM!!! ⚾️ You really did hit it out of the ball park with this one. I hope your hubby loves this one you designed and made with him in mind. I think it is so sweet how you thought of him with every decision. Style, colors, distressing etc.etc. It was darling to watch you take such care to make this just right for him. The world needs more Crys’Dawna’s in it. It would be a much happier and more colorful and more beautiful place. You are so super talented. I’ll be watching this videos MANY more times to really absorb every you taught in it! It is FULL of helpful info. Thanks again for sharing your amazing talents with us.
Loved that idea for the base. The handles look fabulous too.
Thanks so much!
Love it Cry Dawana!!! 🧡🤎 keep it coming!
Your workmanship and finished products are amazing. Very well done. Love how you explain what you do. 👏💜
That turned out spectacularly... Very informative and definitely one I'll watch repeatedly. Thanks, I'm enjoying the new direction of the channel.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much Christi :)
I think hubby is a lucky guy! Turned out amazing ❤
Gorgeous transformation ! Loving the copper handles - more more more
This really updated the piece! I love the color. Did you consider putting copper “caps” ( for lack of a better descriptor) on the legs to tie them into the hardware? I don’t know if it would detract from the legs so I’m just wondering. When you move to Maine you really need to do seminars on how to update furniture. You’re a great teacher!
I know exactly what you’re talking about & I agree completely! That would be a nice touch.
I was thinking the base would look cool with copper wire wrapped around where the dowels cross each other. I like the copper foot caps idea, too.
That base turned out so perfect!
Thank you so much friend :)
Great video and great transformation !! You made what could be a complicated repurposing to an easy makeover. Love the color, the distressing, and definitely the copper. Thanks !!
Love the new direction your channel is taking!! Beautiful transformation😍
Thank you so much Kristin :)
You are such a creative problem solver! Thank you for walking us through EVERY which way you measured and didn’t just fast forward to music … beautiful piece of furniture … I’m inspired!
Thank you so much Claire!!! I never know if I show too much and people are like okay get on with it already but I am a visual learner and so I try to teach how I learn best :)
I really like the copper handles. You did a great job of explaining how to make them. That base, now that is really nice, too. Not a typical base, but it definitely works. Great job all around. 🙂👍
Your woodworking skills are on point! Loved this video.
Thank you so much Tara!!!
Crys! You are totally next level!!! Absolutely stunning!!!
I love Collard Greens, use it a lot. Nice job, lots of work!! You are very talented.
Very impressive!!! Thank you for all the tips. I loved the extra large dowel as legs. Great masculine look with class.
It turned out so lovely. My husband wants a bar for his bourbon.
thank you so much Jamie!!! Yes my husband really enjoys gin and he collects European beer glasses so it's adding up lol 😂 the collection is getting big
WOW WOW WOW!!! That’s FRIGGIN BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
First, I absolutely love greens!!! This piece is so stunning!!!!
I just love your videos!
I don’t think I heard music but I really love your taste in music!
Fantastic! What an inspiration you are! Thank you x
Super enjoyed this one. Love the color with the destressing and it looks soooo good with the copper hardware. I probably couldn't stop and would have to use the Amber Gemstone Mousse on crossbar on the base to accentuate the hardware. Great transformation!
Such a great job. Love the base and the copper piping. I've a bit of a soft spot for the collared green I think. Love it. Thank you so much for this indepth video. Much appreciated.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much Emer :)
OMG! I so love this piece!
The piece came out beautiful. I love the base you did. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Crys’Dawna for taking time to do these videos for us all to see 🥰🖌🦋
You are so inspirational. After watching you for a couple of weeks I think I am going to start my very 1st project this weekend. I'm very nervous but you've given me good info and I'm ready to try. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
Gorgeous and thank you so much for explaining everything step by step Blessings to you and yours...
You are so very welcome :) Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Thank you!! Thank you for taking the time and explaining & teaching us ALL the details of how to do this.. It turned out amazing!!! Tfs
I'd make one of the drawers waterproof inside. Give it a removable tray that you can pull out for cleaning. Pull out a drawer, place your glass and pour your drink.
Unbelievable transformation, you are so talented.
Another great tutorial, thank you for breaking down the way you did the base and the handles I really understood the process. It looks amazing love the colour
You are so very welcome :) Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Not the bad mama jamma 😂... love this and I learned so much again...thanks! PS I love Christina's videos as well... loved the wine bottle holder she did with metal joints....
she is awesome isn't she???? hahahah I have so many crazy thing I say lol bad mama jamma lol where do we even learn this stuff?
Oh wow it's gorgeous. I saw a cabinet on marketplace done like this but in black. I'm not sure which one I like better.
I bought my compound mitre saw today. I am a safety nut so I watched your video the other day, I watched another one on the saw I bought and I read the manual front to back. I practiced cutting while it was off until I was comfortable to actually use it. I LOVE IT. It was so quick, easy and smooth. If anyone is hesitant about using one, if I can do it so can you. Thank you Crys Donna you gave me the boost to try.
Oh and Ryobi 7 1/4" compound mitre saw is on sale at Home Depot in Canada this week for $99😃
you are amazing!!!! You will get more and more comfortable I promise, your world has now been open to sooooo much!!! Ryobi is a great brand!!!!
This is sooo impressive. You are helping me get to a point where I can envision possibilities, and I appreciate you! Girl, you are bad to the bone!
I love the color and the handles the transformation is amazing!
Thank you so much Andreas :)
I love it SO much! This is absolutely my style. Love, love, love!
Love watching how it's all coming together x
Thank you so much :)
Beautiful! Your instructions are just wonderful. Well done on all fronts.
This is one of my favs. At first I wasn’t feeling the legs - then when I saw the cross braces - I was “wow” that’s so cool. I love it.
trust the process lol...yeah the cross braces really brought it all together :) thank you so much :)
Awesome. Lots of info. Love collards with copper.
Thank you so much Deborah :)
Beautiful, love the new base and legs.
Love this transformation! And loving all the new channel content!!
Thanks so much 😊
