I just got me a 2014 sport with a 102k on it and I was curious to know if an oil change could be done without using my ramps and you proved it could be done. I saw when you dropped the bolt into the pan thou. I hate when that happens.
Just got an Edge, this video helps, thanks! Tell ya what, I can't praise that black oil catch pan enough. For years, I used the metal pan, way too much work cleaning and it would always spill dumping it into the 5 quart jugs. One other thing I do is fill the oil filter halfway and swish the oil around real good. That way, the filter doesn't get blasted dry. Always lube the rubber ring as you said.
