My name is Jayne. Whenever I googled my name, pictures of this guy in an orange hat carrying a gun showed up. I had no idea who he was; then I watched Firefly. I not only know who Jayne is, but I also am a huge fan.
I just recently got turned on to this show. Although Wash is my favorite character, I absolutely loved this episode with Jane. He is a character you love to hate, and is amazingly amazing. "Jane is a girls name." "Well Jane 'aint a girl!" One of my favorite lines haha.
This is the best, the finest hat ever made by human hand. And I want that hat because man walking down the street in that hat, people know he's not afraid of anything. Damn straight.
I will genuinely never stop loving FIrefly!! I can't express my continual grief that they cancelled this show!! Just think what would have happened if Fox had aired the episodes in the right gorram order!! We would have understood who and what Booke was, we would have found out that Inara was terminally ill, we would have gone deeper into River's past, learned more about Mal's character, and watched all the characters go on a tremendous journey! .... we shall all miss what can now never be ...
High-larious, much! I love Jayne! I was trying to get this to work on my DVD earlier today but it didn't so I started freaking out thinking that I would never get to see it. The beauty of RUclips I guess.
I wish the clip of Mal telling Jayne not to bring grenades was out there. I try to tell peepes....he really played his parts well. They all did! Loved it all Fire Fly and Serenity. Thanks for the memories ya'll!
Every time I see//hear that scene I can't help but laugh with & at Jayne while being right there alongside the Doctor... Would've loved for that episode to have a commentary as well. Probably never made one...or at least never released since the involved cast couldn't keep from laughing. But this is close enough...so I'm right back to laughing.
Wow. I think Adam Baldwin IS Jayne. I mean... He's really taken that character and made it into his own thing. I love that character and I love this show. I watched for the first time last week and I just can't believe it stopped at 14 episodes. I'm a huge Farscape fan, but if Sci-fi picked this show up, I could let Farscape rest in peace easily.
@Italyryan I think that Firefly coming back is just a rumour, but I did see an article on how they're going to air it again on another channel :) Unfortunately I don't have a TV, so I can't watch it that way, but I did read that article and like it on facebook! ;) lol
