I think if Bowser were to get his own game then I think it should be an expansion on the ending of odyssey similar to how Nintendo expanded the Captain Toad minigames from 3D World into its own game.

Imagine playing all of Odyssey from Bowser’s perspective. And then once you beat it (which I guess means this version would end with Bowser beating Mario?) then you get to play through the Darker Side but as Bowser the entire time

So a Bowser game would be fantastic because you get him adventuring through his castle where he could encounter many obstacles and enemies and just knock out everything! Also, yeah, he would have a shoebox full of his abilities that he had in the previous games over the years. Let’s start with... well, mostly, his trademark ability is breathing fire, but he could have a lot of abilities than that! Staring with Super Mario Sunshine, his attacks involve him doing his signature ability, but splashing water all over the place. Then for Bowser’s Inside Story, he had to curl into his shell and roll around! For 3D World, he didn’t attack his opponents at all, but he did in the last stage and climbed onto walls and destoying everything. And then he attacked using his big muscle car and spitting out flames and throwing explosive soccer balls! Matter fact, that could be the idea for 3D World Deluxe with Bowser as a playable character and his ability can have him rolling around in his shell taking out all the enemies. Oh! And not only that, he’s got claws that he could just thrash around. But maybe we can add some special armor to him like he was in Mario Strikers Charged. He could be just downright nasty and evil and have like wolverine claws like he’s gonna tear you apart. And maybe even better due to the fact that he’s so strong like Wario and Donkey Kong, he could somehow use a mega mushroom so he can break through numerous obstacles, use his claws, pound the ground, and just knock out everything! And then you had Mario 64 DS in Bowser’s second stage where he, like Mega Man, teleports from stage to stage, platform to platform. Also, he jumps soooooo hard that he created a big earthquake! Imagine him doing that stuff in his own game! Also, from Super Mario Galaxy, he just transforms into a large rock taking out anything in his way. Oh! And I got another idea! Do y’all remember Mario Strikers Charged? You had Donkey Kong where he was big and strong and had a super ability where he slammed the ground knocking out his opponents and picked the ball straight up and threw it to the goal! So Bowser with his powerful mighty strength, wouldn’t stomp on the enemies at all. He would just pick ‘em up and throw them straight into the junk pile!

While yes, Bowser’s Inside Story is an entry in the Mario and Luigi series, the game is about Bowser, Bowser explores the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser is the main character and engages with the story constantly, Mario and Luigi are kinda just along for the ride, they improve Bowser’s abilities, and that’s literally their entire role in the story until the tail end of the game, you play as Bowser for the majority of the game, the mechanics of Bowser are fleshed out, Bowser’s dialogue is extremely well-thought out and extremely funny at times, the game is about Bowser, it’s Bowsers game FEATURING Mario and Luigi, it was built up as a Bowser-focused game, so by your logic, it is a Bowser game since you said that a game built-up as a Bowser game is considered a Bowser game. Mario and Luigi aren’t the main characters, the story is focused on Bowser, it’s about Bowser destroying Fawful and his plans, don’t see how it isn’t considered a Bowser game to you, just because Mario and Luigi is in the name of the game doesn’t mean the game isn’t about Bowser, that’s like saying that Super Princess Peach is game about Mario because Mario is on the games’ box art

Honestly, I'd want a Mario game where Mario and Bowser have to team up to save the Mushroom Kingdom, as well as Bowser's castle. Maybe, he takes it back from Dark Mario and Dark Bowser. But, it wouldn't be an RPG, but like maybe a 3D World, like game. But in the final Dark Mario fight, Mario was captured, and Bowser has to fight Dark Mario. Then, the final Dark Bowser fight, which is just Bowser who was captured, and Mario must save him. Then, the final-final battle is when Dark Mario and Dark Bowser fuse. Fawful was outright killed at the end of Inside Story though. Fawful was a unique villain of the Mario series, smart, and unique. Had he stayed back again, he'd be alive for another game.

Tomo Saki Doesn’t mean he can’t come back. He can just return as a ghost, and then find a way to regenerate his physical form. Besides, Midbus, on the other hand, is very much still alive, so he could definitely come back to avenge Fawful or conquer the kingdom for himself
if he got his own game, i'd imagine it'd be him trying to gain a weapon to defeat Mario with, but has to beat another villain to it, and i name...Antasma. He would be mad about the whole betraying stuff and maybe even helps Mario beat Bowser beforehand. As for the gameplay, it would be a bit like Pokemon Mystery dungeon, multiple Dungeons with random layouts, where you recruit minions to fight alongside you as you build a new base, like how Gates to Infinity worked with recruiting pokemon and Paradise. Bowser would have to find ways to kidnap Peach without rousing Mario, and he has to gain new powers for Kamek to do so, through scrolls that are found throughout the storyline in excavated dungeons. Many other quests, like saving a Goomba Village or recruiting old bosses like Bouldergeist would occur while they search for dungeons, ending with Peach being kidnapped, Mario being scared off and Antasma or whoever the villain is, sealed away forever with no way of escape. It's a rough idea and i didn't go into detail due to time and bad keyboards, but let me know what you think :)
@@trainerflowey2729 I have 3 bosses that are recruitable, and a special ability to go with each one. 1. Tatanga: Recruited in a secret room in the space world's midboss level. Ability: 0-grav, which makes ground pound do less damage, but bowser can now jump higher. 2. Popple: popple has 5 hideouts in the base, you need different abilities to find them all. Ability: Pilfer, which doubles the amount of coins you get for anything. 3. Mysterious Bucket: once you beat world 7 (paper world) you will get messages from a Mr. H. Once you follow all the instructions, a bucket will appear and help you from now on. They never say their name, but if you can put together the clues, you might be able to figure out who he is. Ability: Black Paint, which allows bowser to turn a hand into paint and slip it through cracks, allowing him to reach new areas.
The closest thing we have to that is Bowser being a playable character in Super Paper Mario, Bowser’s Inside Story, Yoshi’s Island DS, and Skylanders Superchargers and Imaginators.
I would play it. It would give us a chance to see the world of Mario from Bowser's perspective. Like maybe there's an even worse villain that only bowser is the only one who can stop that villain. I mean it's been 35 years he deserves his chance to be a hero instead of a villain

@@megameme29 He did have the Inhale Ability in Inside Story due to being conned into eating a bad mushroom. People seems to forget Bowser is an excellent mage, since most of what we've seen from Bowser is just brute force and fire breath attacks. He CAN use magic, he just doesn't use it lately cause he's too dumb to know to use it against Mario and friends.
I would be so down for this! Bowser is my absolute favorite character in the Mario franchise! It would be nice to see him having his own game. He very much deserves it!👍👑🐢

I would give bowser a mechanic called RAGE. If his meter goes all the way up he can unleash a really strong attack on all the enemies around him. Instead of Fawful being bad, Mario and the Toads will be the enemies. It fits the King Koopa style better. He’ll beat up Bob-Omb buddies, Toads and other friendly Mario characters. His goal is to kidnap Peach and conquer the kingdom. Mario is the final boss and there could be a twist with a bad guy if they can’t use Mario as the antagonist.

Maybe it takes place in a universe where Bowser successfully prevails this time, and its like an odd but unique platformer-simulator where you go through stages to find Mario's large supervillain mansion and finally settle this ordeal, while also returning to defend your castle from Mario's allies with any turrets and traps you find throughout the levels. and there's other things too, such as talking to troops to get hints or just to strike a conversation, probably taking to Peach asking how she actually feels about Mario, playing arcade games and slot machines, completing quests, solving puzzles to uncover secrets, buying things at stores, and a lot of other things to spice up the personality of each of the characters. Essentially the Miitopia outing tickets and Peach isn't complaining because she's kinda afraid of Mario, like how he's everywhere and kills anyone with his shoes, and Bowser's castle is actually fortified and comfortable. he even set up a cute, cozy princess room for Peach with bed-and-breakfast of her choice provided every morning, and she actually likes it. bowser is just a respectable man who wants to show off his house and cool inventions to his crush and this plumber with anger issues just declines every opportunity he gets
Well, we SORTA have some Bowser-focused games, though those being fangames. There's one based on the between chapters gameplay sections of TTYD but with it's own stuff. Even a secret Minus World you can enter if you're good enough, which unlike Mario 1, is actually beatable in that Bowser game. The thing is, that Paper Bowser game's Minus World is super difficult, but yet, in both the normal final level and the Minus World's final level things go against him anyways, which is a shame, since he worked so hard, yet even after all he went-through, it's still not enough to earn him happiness.. poor guy... He isn't even as much of a villain as most would believe him to be. He only kidnaps Peach because he loves her and he wants his son Bowser Jr. to have a mother who can raise him right... As with Bowser being a single parent as a father, things aren't going so well for raising Jr. right... I think Bowser deserves his own game. It's shown through times that Bowser can be a good guy too at times when he needs to be working together with Mario and friends towards fighting a common enemy. I'd totally buy a Bowser game on Switch if Nintendo would make it. What if during all this silence, Nintendo was making one right now and would surprise us out of the blue? That'd be a good surprise. Not saying they ARE doing that, but it's a nice "what if?" it happened moment if it was actually true. But yet, Nintendo wants to keep milking the Mario Bros as the heroes and Bowser as the common villain in Mario games. Nintendo doesn't really care what their fans want it seems... Look at Origami King for example, none of the TTYD fans were happy with the game, as Nintendo has been neglecting them a worthwhile game for both good gameplay and other stuff. I doubt Nintendo is going to give us a Bowser game anytime. And if they do sometime in the future, we can imagine that Doug Bowser was actually Bowser in disguise and is the reason it got made and released. Just a funny not-real thought.
It’d be cool if bowser had its own game with the goal to kidnap peach instead of saving her. He should adventure himself through an amazing adventure. In the end, Bowser (the character that you play) has to fight against mario but he loses and the games ends the same as in other mario games, but from a different and interesting perspective!

I think the game for bowser should be a mix of odyssey and bis. An rpg where you can level up and unlock new moves along the way, and a game where you go around the world as you get minions and you use special moves with them in battle while trying to defeat the main antagonist. Or a game where Bowser tries to defeat Mario and Luigi and kidnap Peach as he and his minions take over the world. Maybe Bowser can go to different locations trying to find something that can make him powerful, so he can defeat Mario and Luigi and kidnap Peach. Or maybe it could be a 3d game that's kind of linear like Skyward Sword. Bowser can go to that block guy from Bowser's Inside Story and he can sell Bowser some things. Beating enemies can give you coins so you can buy things or items that you can use. Bowser could also go through trials like in Breath of the Wild and he can use the items he gets from the trials to enhance something. Like he could breathe fire for longer, or he could gain more health, or maybe he could charge his punch to deal more damage. Oh yeah, and of course, Bowser would be trying to defeat Mario and Luigi and kidnap Peach.
I think Bowser Junior should get his own game. The closest he has is the side mode in the remake of Bowser‘s inside story which actually was a pretty good side mode but not A lot of people have played it
I can see it now! The game could be from Bowser’s perspective where he captures peach and you have to keep beating mario and escaping to another world and then a final boss battle against Mario. Then when you finally defeat him, Bowser Jr knocks on you door and wakes you from your dream 😂
Here's my idea for a Bowser game King Wart has successfully defeated the Mario bros and taken over the mushroom kingdom. Kamek sees it happen from afar and returns to Bowser's castle to tell him what's going on. Bowser is not happy about this and says if anyones gonna the big bad it's him. So he along with the help of the Koopalings and Bowser Jr set out to defeat Wart

When he does get his own game, I wanna see him discover a population of koopas that look similar to him, his son, and the koopalings. We know for a fact that Bowser and his family are a unique kind of koopa, and seeing how the koopalings are adopted, how Bowser Jr even started existing, and where Bowser himself really came from, there has to be plenty more of koopas like him out there

Agreed... I was so disappointed when you beat Dark Bowser and Mario and Luigi fight Bowser, that you couldn't use your controls to influence the fight, instead needing to watch the battle through still images during the end credits...

@@zigazav1 a super princess peach 2 would be cool. Also, the series needs to give Peach her own villain. Judging by Perry's dreams the minions could be working for the Queen of the Koopas. Yet how can Claudine Queen of the Koopas be explained despite Bowser kidnapping Peach. Easy. Just allude to a Super Princess Peach prequel where Peach initially defeats her and turns her into Dry Claudine. Now with Bowser believing his wife to be dead and believing Mario was the cause he starts falling for Peach because of his grudge against Mario.
He could also learn some moves from Mario RPG too, to go with these. Like drill claw, or wielding things like a chain chomp or tossable hammers as weapons for him to do as well. And, he's technically had some spells as well, though he prefers brute force. Perhaps having him actually learn some spells to fight with that fit his personality too. Though, he had to have learned some of his curse spells for a reason too, like the backstory of the first game where he turned toads to stone bricks. We haven't gotten to see many examples of his spell expertise, but not because he can't do it. He just prefers to fight up close and personal.
Captain Toad is just a Toad who's carrying way too much junk in his bag at once that he can't jump. The Toad that's proper name is Toad is just a red Toad who's carrying basically nothing.
I had an idea for a game where you play as Bowser and the game is sort of like a prologue to a Super Mario Bros. game. Maybe even reference the older games where you are playing as Bowser and your traveling the different worlds in reverse order. Trying to conquer the different worlds along the way to Mushroom Kingdom.
Bowsers game can be a rts where you as bowser command his army to defeat the mushroom kingdom. Also i want see a toad with a spear and shield as a soilder
Gr8 Idea, but i think it is going to be something like TLoZ or M&L:BIS, like a simple RPG that you can battle other characters but filled with secrets and different endings. Honestly, I'd want a Mario game where Mario and Bowser have to team up to save the Mushroom Kingdom, as well as Bowser's castle. Maybe, he takes it back from Dark Mario and Dark Bowser. But, it wouldn't be an RPG, but like maybe a 3D World, like game. But in the final Dark Mario fight, Mario was captured, and Bowser has to fight Dark Mario. Then, the final Dark Bowser fight, which is just Bowser who was captured, and Mario must save him. Then, the final-final battle is when Dark Mario and Dark Bowser fuse. I think it would be really cool!
Since Wario, who happens to be one of the main antagonists of the Mario series, got his own series, I belong Bowser deserves that same treatment

Fawful was outright killed at the end of Inside Story though. Fawful was a unique villain of the Mario series, smart, and unique. Had he stayed back again, he'd be alive for another game.

Tomo Saki Doesn’t mean he can’t come back. He can just return as a ghost, and then find a way to regenerate his physical form. Besides, Midbus, on the other hand, is very much still alive, so he could definitely come back to avenge Fawful or conquer the kingdom for himself
if he got his own game, i'd imagine it'd be him trying to gain a weapon to defeat Mario with, but has to beat another villain to it, and i name...Antasma. He would be mad about the whole betraying stuff and maybe even helps Mario beat Bowser beforehand. As for the gameplay, it would be a bit like Pokemon Mystery dungeon, multiple Dungeons with random layouts, where you recruit minions to fight alongside you as you build a new base, like how Gates to Infinity worked with recruiting pokemon and Paradise. Bowser would have to find ways to kidnap Peach without rousing Mario, and he has to gain new powers for Kamek to do so, through scrolls that are found throughout the storyline in excavated dungeons. Many other quests, like saving a Goomba Village or recruiting old bosses like Bouldergeist would occur while they search for dungeons, ending with Peach being kidnapped, Mario being scared off and Antasma or whoever the villain is, sealed away forever with no way of escape. It's a rough idea and i didn't go into detail due to time and bad keyboards, but let me know what you think :)

@@trainerflowey2729 I have 3 bosses that are recruitable, and a special ability to go with each one.
1. Tatanga: Recruited in a secret room in the space world's midboss level. Ability: 0-grav, which makes ground pound do less damage, but bowser can now jump higher.
2. Popple: popple has 5 hideouts in the base, you need different abilities to find them all. Ability: Pilfer, which doubles the amount of coins you get for anything.
3. Mysterious Bucket: once you beat world 7 (paper world) you will get messages from a Mr. H. Once you follow all the instructions, a bucket will appear and help you from now on. They never say their name, but if you can put together the clues, you might be able to figure out who he is. Ability: Black Paint, which allows bowser to turn a hand into paint and slip it through cracks, allowing him to reach new areas.

@@megameme29 He did have the Inhale Ability in Inside Story due to being conned into eating a bad mushroom. People seems to forget Bowser is an excellent mage, since most of what we've seen from Bowser is just brute force and fire breath attacks. He CAN use magic, he just doesn't use it lately cause he's too dumb to know to use it against Mario and friends.

We *NEED* a game for Bowser!
I would give bowser a mechanic called RAGE. If his meter goes all the way up he can unleash a really strong attack on all the enemies around him. Instead of Fawful being bad, Mario and the Toads will be the enemies. It fits the King Koopa style better. He’ll beat up Bob-Omb buddies, Toads and other friendly Mario characters. His goal is to kidnap Peach and conquer the kingdom. Mario is the final boss and there could be a twist with a bad guy if they can’t use Mario as the antagonist.
I suggested a “Bowser & Mario”game to Nintendo when I rated a game for “Nintendo points” from my Wiiu!My idea was A New Villian that Bowser couldn’t take on his own and Mario couldn’t take on his own.An intresting thought having Bowser & Mario working together to get everything right.A gameplay combinatie of destruction, Platforming and puzzle.Something diffrent then to be enemy’s all the time.Even bad Guys could be Nice at something?

Maybe it takes place in a universe where Bowser successfully prevails this time, and its like an odd but unique platformer-simulator where you go through stages to find Mario's large supervillain mansion and finally settle this ordeal, while also returning to defend your castle from Mario's allies with any turrets and traps you find throughout the levels. and there's other things too, such as talking to troops to get hints or just to strike a conversation, probably taking to Peach asking how she actually feels about Mario, playing arcade games and slot machines, completing quests, solving puzzles to uncover secrets, buying things at stores, and a lot of other things to spice up the personality of each of the characters. Essentially the Miitopia outing tickets
and Peach isn't complaining because she's kinda afraid of Mario, like how he's everywhere and kills anyone with his shoes, and Bowser's castle is actually fortified and comfortable. he even set up a cute, cozy princess room for Peach with bed-and-breakfast of her choice provided every morning, and she actually likes it. bowser is just a respectable man who wants to show off his house and cool inventions to his crush and this plumber with anger issues just declines every opportunity he gets

Well, we SORTA have some Bowser-focused games, though those being fangames. There's one based on the between chapters gameplay sections of TTYD but with it's own stuff. Even a secret Minus World you can enter if you're good enough, which unlike Mario 1, is actually beatable in that Bowser game. The thing is, that Paper Bowser game's Minus World is super difficult, but yet, in both the normal final level and the Minus World's final level things go against him anyways, which is a shame, since he worked so hard, yet even after all he went-through, it's still not enough to earn him happiness.. poor guy... He isn't even as much of a villain as most would believe him to be. He only kidnaps Peach because he loves her and he wants his son Bowser Jr. to have a mother who can raise him right... As with Bowser being a single parent as a father, things aren't going so well for raising Jr. right... I think Bowser deserves his own game. It's shown through times that Bowser can be a good guy too at times when he needs to be working together with Mario and friends towards fighting a common enemy. I'd totally buy a Bowser game on Switch if Nintendo would make it. What if during all this silence, Nintendo was making one right now and would surprise us out of the blue? That'd be a good surprise. Not saying they ARE doing that, but it's a nice "what if?" it happened moment if it was actually true. But yet, Nintendo wants to keep milking the Mario Bros as the heroes and Bowser as the common villain in Mario games. Nintendo doesn't really care what their fans want it seems... Look at Origami King for example, none of the TTYD fans were happy with the game, as Nintendo has been neglecting them a worthwhile game for both good gameplay and other stuff. I doubt Nintendo is going to give us a Bowser game anytime. And if they do sometime in the future, we can imagine that Doug Bowser was actually Bowser in disguise and is the reason it got made and released. Just a funny not-real thought.

It’d be cool if bowser had its own game with the goal to kidnap peach instead of saving her. He should adventure himself through an amazing adventure. In the end, Bowser (the character that you play) has to fight against mario but he loses and the games ends the same as in other mario games, but from a different and interesting perspective!

I think the game for bowser should be a mix of odyssey and bis. An rpg where you can level up and unlock new moves along the way, and a game where you go around the world as you get minions and you use special moves with them in battle while trying to defeat the main antagonist.
Or a game where Bowser tries to defeat Mario and Luigi and kidnap Peach as he and his minions take over the world.
Maybe Bowser can go to different locations trying to find something that can make him powerful, so he can defeat Mario and Luigi and kidnap Peach.
Or maybe it could be a 3d game that's kind of linear like Skyward Sword. Bowser can go to that block guy from Bowser's Inside Story and he can sell Bowser some things. Beating enemies can give you coins so you can buy things or items that you can use. Bowser could also go through trials like in Breath of the Wild and he can use the items he gets from the trials to enhance something. Like he could breathe fire for longer, or he could gain more health, or maybe he could charge his punch to deal more damage. Oh yeah, and of course, Bowser would be trying to defeat Mario and Luigi and kidnap Peach.

King Wart has successfully defeated the Mario bros and taken over the mushroom kingdom. Kamek sees it happen from afar and returns to Bowser's castle to tell him what's going on. Bowser is not happy about this and says if anyones gonna the big bad it's him. So he along with the help of the Koopalings and Bowser Jr set out to defeat Wart

When he does get his own game, I wanna see him discover a population of koopas that look similar to him, his son, and the koopalings. We know for a fact that Bowser and his family are a unique kind of koopa, and seeing how the koopalings are adopted, how Bowser Jr even started existing, and where Bowser himself really came from, there has to be plenty more of koopas like him out there

Agreed... I was so disappointed when you beat Dark Bowser and Mario and Luigi fight Bowser, that you couldn't use your controls to influence the fight, instead needing to watch the battle through still images during the end credits...
Now imagine if we can ask Samantha Kelly and Deanna Mustard for the people doing a game with Peach and Daisy as main protagonists. Or make it separately with Peach having her own game, and Daisy having her own game.
Peach already had her own game, which left questions unanswered. You see Perry's (forgive me for the typos) flashback sequences, but so much is left unanswered based on what's shown there...

Yet how can Claudine Queen of the Koopas be explained despite Bowser kidnapping Peach. Easy. Just allude to a Super Princess Peach prequel where Peach initially defeats her and turns her into Dry Claudine. Now with Bowser believing his wife to be dead and believing Mario was the cause he starts falling for Peach because of his grudge against Mario.

He could also learn some moves from Mario RPG too, to go with these. Like drill claw, or wielding things like a chain chomp or tossable hammers as weapons for him to do as well. And, he's technically had some spells as well, though he prefers brute force. Perhaps having him actually learn some spells to fight with that fit his personality too. Though, he had to have learned some of his curse spells for a reason too, like the backstory of the first game where he turned toads to stone bricks. We haven't gotten to see many examples of his spell expertise, but not because he can't do it. He just prefers to fight up close and personal.

I had an idea for a game where you play as Bowser and the game is sort of like a prologue to a Super Mario Bros. game. Maybe even reference the older games where you are playing as Bowser and your traveling the different worlds in reverse order. Trying to conquer the different worlds along the way to Mushroom Kingdom.
