It would have been nice to leave a link in the video description of where the part could be purchased. Other than that thank you for the video. I wish you would have had a camera operator so we could have seen it done.
Ok H-Town Picker, I bought some cheap mini blinds from Wally Mart. I installed them only to have to take them done and put the plastic rod into the wand mechanism. Fun, fun, I am not a handywoman. I was a teacher, though. I am having problems with the blinds- when I took them out of the box they were tight- each blind was snug against the next blind. If I cut strings to loosen them up they might be a set of blinds anymore, They might be loose blinds. So, I cannot find anything on the top to untie or cut. Should I undo the strings on the bottom? These have 3 lines. The outer ones have what looks to be a plastic nut on the outside lines. The one in the middle does not have the plastic nut. Any help would be appreciated. It is sad to see an Astros fan have only 36 subscribers. I could get you some more if you help me out... I know lots of Houston folks. I taught at Cy-Fair ISD for a few years. I see a person from the town near the bay is writing you. Sounds like he needs to be your camera person. I ama BOI. If you are from HOuston you should know what that is.
Similar problem...only the blinds turned partially one way but not the other...only then pulling the top blind up against the rail ...took it down and everything seemed ok compared to an identical blind that works...the string inside the wheel was at a minimum...likely causing the lack of movement...so I tried rolling some string back...but the problem still exists.
Thank you Eric, for showing each part front and back.
What is the name of the piece you purchased? I need one.
