  • DIY video on fixing the tilt mechanism on corded Hunter Douglas blinds. I found the tilt mechanism on eBay and purchased it. It was a direct fit. I was able to replace the unit and get the blinds tilt operations up and working again

That’s absolutely brilliant! Been looking for ages for a video which doesn’t state the obvious (eg broken rod…). Can’t wait to do mine when I get home. All six throughout the house have gone!!

Fox blinds? 😆 Are we talking about faux wood blinds? It's French, pronounced like "foh" with a long O. Good video, thanks.

Similar problem...only the blinds turned partially one way but not the other...only then pulling the top blind up against the rail ...took it down and everything seemed ok compared to an identical blind that works...the string inside the wheel was at a minimum...likely causing the lack of movement...so I tried rolling some string back...but the problem still exists.

It might be the mechanism. When I’m doubt, order a new part lol.
