Built a rat proof chicken feeder that costs only a few bucks. It works like a charm. I would have to feed my chickens daily because of a high rat infestation. Rats would eat everything at night and leave feces and urine in the feed bowls. Now I can go a few days without having to worry about feed. LED Shop Light Install in Garage
Просмотров 324 года назад
Needed more light in the garage so I decided to hook up another shop-light. Decided to go with LED since it’s the new thing going on and uses less energy. A little under $50 for the light and and additional 12 bucks for 25ft wire got the job done in less than an hour. Bought from Lowes.

Similar problem...only the blinds turned partially one way but not the other...only then pulling the top blind up against the rail ...took it down and everything seemed ok compared to an identical blind that works...the string inside the wheel was at a minimum...likely causing the lack of movement...so I tried rolling some string back...but the problem still exists.

Have you tried drilling little holes into the side of the nut? Then use the drill bit to turn the nut. Drill into each edge of the nut as it comes around.

For the covers just buy a piece of oak and cut it the same diameter, stain it before, a small smear of Titebond 3 around the outside and use a rubber mallet to hammer it into place. Easy and better looking. But I guess if it comes loose all the time easier access might be worth it.

This is the funniest construction video I’ve ever seen. Never thought I’d see a man hammering a screw with a socket wrench to tighten a nut. Was looking for another video but stuck around because of the comedy. Good job.

Interest video. I built my stair rails years ago and they’re loosing up. I didn’t know how to access the bolts. Didn’t think about drilling the caps out. My caps are underneath and are oat so it’s tough to drill. One little tip that might help you a little bit. The screw that was too long, you could get a small hack saw and cut it down so the wrench will fit over it. Also when i built my rails, Home Depot had these brackets that screws into the post and floor and made it super staple. It came with a wood trim to hide the brackets.
