The United States Association of Reptile Keepers (USARK) is a science, education, and conservation-based advocacy for the responsible private ownership of, and trade in reptiles and amphibians. We endorse caging standards, sound husbandry, escape prevention protocols, and an integrated approach to vital conservation issues. Our goal is to facilitate cooperation between government agencies, the scientific community, and the private sector in order to produce policy proposals that will effectively address important husbandry and conservation issues. The health of these animals, public safety, and maintaining ecological integrity are our primary concerns.

I like usark they help us to keep our rights to keep reptiles, especially when it to captive breeding of many species of reptiles
A video on the process to REMOVE laws already in place that restrict reptiles in states (or similar ones) would be neat (Arkansas specifically lol)
Yes I agree 100%. Florida has banned all green Iguanas and Tegus. How do we get these crappy laws reversed?
@@janiceellery1653 I feel like both species are extremely well established in florida already, so pet ownership shouldn't logically be an issue. Even if a few got out it would make zero difference at this point. Especially if they just made a law saying they were legal but had to be chipped. I just dont see how making them legal could do any further harm at this point. There are A LOT of both species already in florida.

USARK is amazing but back in the day my dad had issues with them for some reason he fought Nevada legislation for years for our animal rights of all kind I never asked why he didn't like usark for the time being when he didn't sadly hes dead now so I will never know but if they truly did that I'm ashamed of them as hobbiests
We believe that your dad did not have issues with USARK but just one person involved with USRAK who is no longer involved with them. After he was gone, he made it clear that he supported USARK. Have a good day.
