I've been watching Disney's Encanto recently and their songs are lit and I love it especially the very first one they uploaded "We don't talk about Bruno" and still trending in RUclips Music. If you haven't watch it the movie yet then go it is a good movie ^^. Anyway, I uploaded the Japanese Lyric song from the movie and oh the English lyric is still the original english lyrics cause I can't find the translation of the Japanese Version soooo I hope you guys will like this version ^^ but if any of you want to translate then just comment down below to match it ^^

I love that they made each language fit so well in the harmonies and melodies of the acual music.
Also Spanish and English tend to have more hard consonants to their words, whereas Japanese doesn't, and is most soft sounds and vowels, so instead of a staccato sound almost, it flows a LOT smoother lyrically, which is really pleasant to listen to.
I agree with you. The French seems to fit very well with the salsa as well. Almost like gliding over the music.

The translation is not exact, but I get why you used the original English lyrics to help us follow along. (ふれちゃ だめ means "don't touch" as in don't touch the topic of Bruno)
I love how their voices sound almost exactly like their originals. Voice acting is such an amazing talent.
Actually you can translate to "don't talk about" with no worries, because of its meaning in the song. "Touch" is just one of its translations. Translating Japanese can be a bit rough (like any language ofc) because there's just a lot of subtle meanings behind one kanji. But your point is an interesting way to translate either :)
@@kenzi6736 it could prolly also mean "don't touch the topic." And yeah, reading Japanese for me is so hard cus it requires so many context clues and I can't just translate literally into English. Language learning is a challenge!

@@kenzi6736 I speak it fluently and the OP is correct: it does translate literally to "touch", but it's one of the odd and rare cases where it is particularly idosyncractic-they are literally, saying "don't touch (the topic of) Bruno", the "topic of" is implied since the following sentences or parts thereof add the required supporting structure and context (i.e. he is literally not there to physically touch).
In Japanese the topic/subject of a sentence is dropped almost immediately after being established, meaning any new speaker to a conversation can be very quickly "lost in the sauce" as everything seems fragmented or incomplete.

You could put it into a translator or look up the “direct translation”. I'm not really sure though.
I made this real quick. Note that Camilo's part seems really short. It's actually just because the words he uses are quite long (what's just "rats" in english becomes the whole second line: nezumi-tachi). But yeah, you can see how Japanese often has to drop details and focus only on necessary beats most of the time:
