I love how they choose aya hirano!
I love that Mirabel's part that has the same melody as Isabela's WDTAB verse also shares some lyrics with it in Japanese, just like in English: "Jinsei no yumega.../Gungun...(verb starting with "soda")".
When you translate a song from English into Japanese, you can't fit all the words in! Because Japanese has a lot more vowel sounds and therefore more consonants for each sentence. The English translation written here is a translation of the Japanese dub version. Thank you for this video!
I think they did a great job with the translation except when Mirabel comes in... In the English she realizes how difficult things were for her sister, in the Japanese all she's doing is encouraging Isabel :c Kinda misses the point! But other than that it's really good!
I read a theory on the official English video (for some reason only English DisneyVevo enables comments?) that that line in the English song was also in vague reference to what Isabella says in her line in We Don't Talk About Bruno, thus the line here was meant to be a subtle tell to the audience that THIS was the moment Bruno's prophecy actually talked about for Isabella. Mirabel's even singing the line with the same melody.
Of course, because this was an adaptation from English this would've been extremely difficult to fully convey so the JP version went with just putting that into plain text instead of subtext.
Hence, the line in JP is Mirabel pointing out that this moment is the life Isabella always wanted.
I also heard that Japanese is difficult to directly translate to English because each kanji can have subtle meaning differences depending on contextual clues
How old are the monolinguals who type "That translation is wrong" just because the English translation of a dub isn't the same as the original?

Idk but there some sort of age where they lost their brain
I speak Japanese (not totally fluent) and some of the translation (just certain lines are off) but it is pretty close.

For example, my first native language is English but second is Japanese (not fluent).
The lyrics aren’t the same as the original because they don’t work like that.
I just honestly love the fact that Mirabel does her long part like the tune of isa's part in "we don't don't talk about bruno" super pretty!!

Actually you're saying you're wrong at the end you're spelling it wrong in the movie I trust it in the movie only
