    Thank you for posting this video! I have been dealing with a dust particle in the middle of my sensor for a year, tried the self cleaning feature to no avail. Then I came across your video and locked the mirror and used the air blowing tool and it worked!!! Thank you so much!

    Thank you for this! I recently got a Nikon D40 and there was an annoying spot in all the photos. I followed your information and behold.. dust all over the sensor. After using a dust cleaning kit to blow the dust off, the photos it takes now are awesome and no spots!

    Bro thank you so much. I spent like an hour cleaning the first mirror. As soon as i opened tbe sensor i saw that big piece of dirt that was ruining my shots

    I was always taught to turn the camera upside down. All the dust you are blowing off the sensor is staying in the camera body.

      @@srr1887which is not really a shutter... just 'taking a snapshot' after the exposure time... well... probably it works faster than a physical one...
