Do we need to modify it??? Take a look... but I think we do.
If you have any other suggestions we can try, let us know! Наука
Experiencing the same issue as you. Thanks for the video!
Never come across the issues you have mentioned, very interesting
probably because you were using IBIS otherwise it's inevitable unless you're flying a heavier rig with an R2 or something.
We’re having the same roll/wobble issue! I’d love to hear if you came up with a solution. I’d love to be able to do minimal stabilization and maybe even shoot on a longer lens!
Came here after searching Hydra mounting bracketry combinations.. you got an instruction manual with yours?! Wow.
now comes some new product, tilta Hydra Alien Car Mounting System Pro Kit V-Mount HDA-T02-A-V Gold Mount HDA-T02-A-AB shopnews.aliexpress.com/shopnews/postDetail.htm?postId=6000025389048746&appType=101&src=&albslr=200042360&albbt=5
Hi! Great review/video! Did you found a solution to stabilize the roll?
Negative, even with a larger isolator, same issue. Determined it is the rs2
2:20 that is exactly the same problem I have with the mount.
Hi, do you think the inbody stablization features of mirrorless camera such as the sony a7s3 can adequately take care of the side to side movement of the rig? Thank you
That’s a good question. That’s something we haven’t tested with a smaller mirrorless with ibs. We’ll have to add that to our list to see the difference. Ronin RS also recommends turning off all other forms of stabilization to avoid counter actions and reactions to its own movements. However IBS may be small enough for the rest not to notice… good thought!
@@Eaglevisionvideo Anxious to see your test results =)
Im friends with the head of tilta i didn't want to do a review to hurt the brand but im glad you did a solid review. I was one of the first to get this rig to review it and thought the Ronin S2 was broken because the wobble was horrid. At the end of all my testing I found the true issue is the Ronin S2. The pan motors are simply not powerful enough to support the cameras underslung. If you dont believe me try under-slinging your ronin S 2 in your hands and look at that baby wobble. Its a defect and DJI should do a recall. The only fix i was able to find was to use the ronin one classic. This was a match made in heaven! zero wobble unless you take a hard turn, but was proof that it was the RS2 gimbal all along. Message me if you would like some photos of my set up works like a charm.
I’ll do that for sure
I would be very interested in seeing your setup, as well as bts footage and footage showing the results as well. What are you using to secure the Ronin 1 to the Tilta Hydra car mount?
@@LaurentFranchet it’s a dove block made for the ronin one cost about 80 bucks
@@ArtLA could you please give me a reference to this product and if possible a link ? Thanks a lot
I too would love to see some pics of this setup or a link to find such dove block @Art L.A.
spot on..seems like everyone is having the same issue..any solutions to this?
Testing the new isolator next week. Stay tuned! Well let you know :)
@@Eaglevisionvideo what stiffness settings are you using? It sounded like you said 100% Have you tried turning the pan stiffness right down on the rs2?
try it with the ronin classic the only fix unless you have an MX
@@Eaglevisionvideo i hope it works but I have a feeling its just the weak motors on the rs2
You might want to checkout Bestboy Adam's video. He discussed the issue with isolation and walks through the modifications he made because of the same isolation plate stiffness issue you're experiencing. That might save you a ton of time. ruclips.net/video/wdzX_KesTdw/видео.html
