I says on the website that The Remote Control Kit offers full wired or wireless control of the DJI RS2 or RS3 Pro. How is the WIRED control implemented?
Wow!? Hire a grip or rigging grip to teach this. You are missing some serious safety measures that could end in catastrophic failure. For example, 1) no safety chains connected to the "dovetails". Camera falls off someone is getting injured. 2) There is a single point of failure (1:07) if that washer fails or comes loose, the entire from the arm across goes down. Again, no redundancies, and not even a safety chain connecting it to something if it does fall. The people watching these videos are going to do exactly how you show them. You might consider refilming this with some additional safety measures. People are going to be indy filming on roads and you will put other drivers at risk by not following some basic steps. Seriously unprofessional Tilta. Overlooked safety precautions is how people get hurt or die on set. Be a part to assist in making sets safer, please.
@@ConnerFoxx You're not nuts. Thinking of safety is GOOD filmmaking, period. Ironically I saw this video and posted the comment on feb 20th. The anniversary of Sarah Jones death. That really depends on your need and what level of presision you want to have. 1st option is to control the Ronin via the virtual screen controller or force mobil via your phone or tablet 2nd option is to buy the DJI base expansion kit for RS2 and control it via the in this kit included remote handle. That means running a cable into the car but will give you control of zoom and/or focus 3rd option is to mount the DJI Ronin S focus wheel, connect a RC remote receiver to it and control the RS2 via a RC remote from inside the car 4th option will be the RX/TX from Tilta that is shown in the video. Can't say anything about that as the product is not in their shop by now

Hi , I'm French Filmaker . I will be test new suspension system . I Have the ronin m , but I don't know if you know the limit speed for car rolling ? Because I don't know the limit speed to ronin m safe motors . Thanks buy =)
Hello. I don't have a Ronin gimbal. Which are gimbals I can install? I don't know how to check which screws they have from the specs of gimbals. Can you name other types? I have with me: AK2000s and a Zhiyun Weevil 3. Thank you
I had the same questions... part of the pump is white...the other is black.. you keep pumping until when released the white part of the pump is no longer visible.
Nice introduction. How long does the suction cup mounts can hold those Sony alpha with normal road condition and average of 40mph before they get loose and pump the suction cup mounts? Do they need to attach a string like rope or chain to minimize the risk of dropping the entire system due to loosening of suction cup mounts?
It’s hard to calculate as suction cup‘s have a weight load they can carry (for this rig 2x18kg + 32kg = 68kg equal 150lbs) on their direct mount. With more distance you move the weight away from the cup’s as less the load. I’m sure they did their homework and write 7,5 kg is max load on the arm. Suction cups do always need your attention and nanny work as they all loose vacuum over time. Those need to be checked and pumped constantly during use. Security ropes/strings are always a must with all car rigs that should be a no brainer. The belt in the set is not ideal for car rigging, there are better things on the market. I hope people don’t think any rig or arm is a turnkey device even if this video try to show it like that
One major safety redundancy is to make a belt system that runs flush against the car which can be closed into a door or trunk Incase the suction fails. Small, overlooked debris can make this a death trap for others.
This will work with any gimbal that can mount via 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads and that can be powered via P-Tap as long as the total weight is under 7.5kg!
It depends on the weight of your camera system, how you car mount is mounted, quality of the road and type of vehicle! We generally recommend around 40 mph for best results!

Yeah there has to be an issue with it only dampening vertically.
Same problem here. I just saw a few videos there the little wired part has been changed to way smoother ones. Maybe thats the solution.
