the real way to maximize would be if they would finally increase the inheritance cap from 4. Gods it's su frustrating how not enough that has been for ages.
Hard agree, but I doubt its gonna happen. They seem to already regret Re-Armed heroes considering how rare they made them, so inheriting more than 4 skills at a time is probably never happening.
Yeah bro I'm not holding out hope I'm just inheriting when I feel necessary and if it happens then fire I get more skills from then on 🤷🏽♂️
I remember when it was just 3. Hard life when you had to really get the prerequisite skills, then had to choose between one skill and the inheritable weapons, or the three top skills when foddering others for prerequisites. The worst was when you had to get the shiny new skill, and nothing else.
@@ludgerkres.1437 yup that was a time indeed. Granted it feels like that again sadly.
the thing is - even if they increased the cap to 4- they'd just make it so you still can't get everything super efficiently. a huge part of the problem is that they leapt to to tier 4 skills for a lot of skills without main pool (or even grail) versions of tier 3. Claude & Dimitri introduced Lull Skills what? 4 years ago and as far as i can we really don't have that yet available in the main pool on a demote. Legendary Claude introduced Catch almost 3 years ago and we JUST got it on a Grail Unit (whom arguably people would want to build up anyway so...). He also introduced reins - no reins in the main pool. we've FINALLY started to get oaths in the main pool. Noah JUST brought Flow Guard 3 to the 5* pity breaker - and that as about 2 years in the making).
Like Tailtu came with Still Water 3. would it have been that difficult to give Donnel Solid Ground 3? (apparently so). I am still shocked that flow desperation actually didn't have Flow Desperation 1-2-3 before it (Like Beast Sense 4). I don't mind having to make the harder choice of what to leave behind what ticks me off is that i don't have enough base skills to even go for it.
*EDIT!!!* Btw I'm dumb so I completely forgot to bring up daisy chaining your Re-Armed Heroes. To really optimize merges, consider foddering your final merge copy of a Re-Armed Hero to another Re-Armed Hero so you can begin chain inheriting skills all over again and not wasting merges. So, if you have Ophelia at +9, the final +10 merge fodder should go to another similar hero like Alcryst who you can then begin merging up and passing the same skills out again. This is amazing because then you don't have to keep on further pulling for Ophelia even after she is +10.

Damn Tacho this list and this video is top tier honestly been waiting on a FEHTuber to make this video, im glad it was you
why is there gay pride banners behind them?
I believe spd smoke can also be inherited from Saizo
But... for example if you inherit your last Ophelia with certain cascade skills to for example Alcryst... do you not just having at best 4 skills passed onto him (if all of them have prerequisites)?
So don't you have to basically inherit a majority of skills onto him by foddering other units again? Difficult.
Also I kinda feel like... new skills they pump out have several inheritance restrictions. I kinda feel like IS is doing this more so recently than before... probably they don't want making skill inheritance cascades that easy, so that many weapon or even movement types are required to do so.
Personally I think I will barely use this method cause... I mean I have to basically summon for dozen of copies of Rearmed heroes AND all the rare units with their fodder. At the end that would mean I would still spent probably hundreds and thousands of orbs... an probably it is faster to summon for a certain (new) unit just to get them twice an inherit the skill of interest right away and not going the extra route... despite it would be great sure... but who knows when Rearmed Hero x will finally have a come-back and who knows if I have orbs then instead of summoning for a unit I actually want. :s
Oh and I probably would say following skills should be added too:
Fury 4
Fury 3 from Hinata
Mirror "Blow" alike skills
Mirror Strike from Ilyana
Sturdy "blow" alike skills
Sturdy Blow from Athena and Tanith (both 20k feathers)
Atk/Spd Ideal 4
Atk/Spd Ideal 3 from Miriel (20k feathers)
Quick Riposte 4
Quick Riposte 3 from Subaki (20k feathers)
Attack Smoke 4
Attack Smoke 3 from Kaze
And despite them relatively niche nowadays, but imo still... alright...
Joint Drive Atk/Spd/Def/Res
Drive Atk from Echidna
Drive Spd from Tailtiu and Kiragi
Drive Def from Nanna and Nyna
Drive Res from Soleil and Saul
Also LnD 3 is sitting on 4-star Guy too, Merlinus has also WoM 3 fodder at 4-star.
And technically there are more, but they are probably to niche (Pegasus Flight), have many better options now (Push Skills) or better be inherited directly by certain 5-stars themselves than through Rearmed Heroes (Death Blow 4 in case of older, slow Brave weapon users for example or more "budget" tier 4 skill).
My 2 main issues with the current skill inheritance are:
1. Not enough demotes with level 3 fodder (these need a huge push to catch back up, no more chill or smoke skills, we have plenty enough of them already).
2. Inheritable weapons should not count towards the limit. This has been a huge issue for years now, they should just allow weapons to be inherited ontop of the max limit of skills, especially if theyre not going to drastically increase the cap.
I love these type of videos! They really help with what builds to pick for my favorite units. Thank you for the guide Tacho ❤
Tacho, the drive in content you're putting out at this speed is insane. High quality, analytic advice and yet have a casual feel. I lowkey get tired of seeing the same faces make the premiere content for FEH. Makes it less enticing for smaller creators to jumpstart.
It's always amazing to see new formats of content that don't feel copy pasted that many like myself can enjoy hearing new perspectives, it's something FEH needs. Keep it up, Tacho, but at your own pace!
Thank you for making this vid Tacho, definitely coming back to this video for reference when I get more rearmed units
loving these guides series
Thanks for the video, very helpful. If i knew this earlier wouldn't have wasted some of my rearmed heroes. I understand the pinciple and the theory but if you could post a vid with an example how to go about doing this it would help a lot. Keep up the good work
Check out oblivionknight's channel, he has a video that shows the process and steps needed to do the trick
At the moment I saw this unit I guessed what you were going to talk about, but honestly it wouldn't have occurred to me. Thnaks for the video
We can do the same whit the new echoes skills??
Thank you for the top tier content Tacho I know how hard it takes to make videos like this so I really appreciate it man! :D💖
So hmm if I pulled another re armed tana when her banner re run then I should consider giving her a spring bernie so I can inherit her skills to my bunny Veronica with guidance 4
Also do u think guidance 4 is worth it since she already have the wrap effect but guidance 4 is so good and work better!
Guidance 4 is pretty strong yeah, people use it a lot on Bride Catria and Christmas Cordelia. It should work the same on Bunny Veronica, except she isn't giving triangle attack to the allies like they do.
They really need to increase the skill inheritance cap, especially since they're making more and more tier 4 only skills now. Case in point, baby goat with Beast Sense 4 or the new CYL units. Then again, that's the point, I guess. Get you to spend more trying to get multiple copies.
I do find it very useful that you can get more of the limited skills this way but at the same time not every time I want a certain hero to inherit these rare skills will they also inherit the arcane weapon, which I would like to do but then it becomes a choice of inheriting the rearmed copy usage for skills or the weapon, that is if the unit shares the same weapon type. If these units weren’t so limited I’d say I’m glad the system exists but they had to make these rearmed units not a perma thing to the summoning pool, I can only hope they get like a monthly rerun
Super vid! But brah assault 4 only take into account the 30% dr from the skill itself, you can't stack the ice mirror effect like on nyx etitr hans and the like
@TACHO nice first unit is carrying mostly all my axe unit skills.🤔🤨🧐
so you are saying that if I give rearmed ganglot all those skills next time I pull another rearmed ganglot that ganglot is gonna have all those skills as well? or how does it work? (sorry Im new in the game)
Yes! You use the first Ganglot to inherit skills, then you merge any additional Ganglot copies into the original Ganglot, and you can pass those skills on a second time.
Its a very easy way to completely build an entire unit.
@@tacho9427 does it still work if the second (and onward) copy has already passed down its skills to another unit?
I've been waiting for Tana to come back around so I can spread guidance 4/firestorm dance/unity to all my flying dancers. But now I also want to pass around remote (or flared) sparrow and brash assault...
So I’ve recently jumped into the game again and got Robin and Ophelia what’s so frustrating so far to me about re armed heros is 1 thing that directly affects them being that to maximize them you do have to get sevral copies to merge into one copy which is great if you planned on getting multiple of them already but not so great if you only wanted 1 the second issue it qol issue being the 4 skill inheritance issue
Yeah, it sucks but we just have to deal with it. IntSys hates us :(
Wow
I don’t understand , even with a rearmed hero you can inherit just one time to another unit . Why does he says you can inherit to “All your units” ???? Is there a mechanic I am forgetting ? Please someone explain it to me 😢
When you merge a Re-Armed Hero, you can pass the skills off a second time. Every merge gives you an additional time you can use them for skill inheritance.
This is better than using standard heroes for skill fodder, because you permanently lose those other units as opposed to keeping the copy as with Re-Armed Heroes.
Also, Re-Armed Heroes are generally easier to obtain and much more F2P friendly than seasonal/legendary banner locked units with exclusive skills, so its preferable to pass those exclusive skills off to the Re-Armed Heroes to make them easier to get.
That is incredible ... I didn't know that and I watched the first Re-Armed Hero trailer like 2 times , thanks a lot @@tacho9427 , it makes a lot of sense now 🙂
Can you merge past +10? I have a +2 Ganglot and was wondering if I should start duping on a fresh unmerged Ganglot
For specifically Rearmed Heroes, you can. You don't get higher than +10, but you can use your fodder again if you do it
@@tacho9427 cool, thanks :)
Do we know when ganglot is gonna run again? Been hurtin for a copy
No idea, everyone wants her but they have been holding her back
@@tacho9427 dammit I got like 3 f!byleths burning a hole in my pocket but I'd rather go through just one
I’m a little confused? Is the rearmed hero sort of like a hub for skills but only for a single unit since you can only inherit once?
Yeah, a hub for skills is a good way to put it.
But its certainly a lot easier to get Re-Armed Heroes compared to other units. Fireflood Boost 3 is seasonal locked, Alarm Atk/Spd is Legendary Banner locked (triple color sharing is bad), etc.
You can also create build sets on Re-Armed Heroes for perfect inheritance. For example, Duo Shamir has Remote Sparrow and Brash Assault 4, but she doesn't have Atk/Spd Oath 4. You could put all that stuff on a single Re-Armed Hero and make it more cost efficient to use them for the fodder.
So I pull every single hero with a new version of skill and fodder it off on a rearmed unit and lose that hero for the sake of inheritable skills on multiple units through that rearmed hero and than I still wanna have a hero I foddered off to rearmed hero but I cant pull out another one and than I cry hard but the inheritance was still worth it lmao
@@tanachisan Yeah I mean that's just FEH in a nutshell kinda. Every single investment we do feels like it comes with more negatives attached than positives. All I can really say is just be as wise as you can with the orb spending and only go for a unit/skill if you _really_ want it.
Track name?
Its the menu theme from DMP. I actually don't know the actual name of the track because the game is in Japanese
@@tacho9427 DMP?
@@georexzx3780 Yeah its an old Japanese TCG kinda like Yugioh and Magic
