Definitely a very informative video, I wasn’t too sure how to optimize foddering with the skill duplication, but seeing your example clears it all up for me
Even though it sucks they won't be in the regular summoning pool, it's still nice we got a rearmed heroes for older gen units to inherit perfs, and this video really helps clear things up. Now to wait for a lance and a dagger rearm perf for my Effie and Saizo.

I believe some people was already starting to feel FEH was waning. Arcane heroes is a great addition to the overall game and gives the opportunity to build people's old loved units. Definitely this type of changes maintain the game interesting.
I really love the rearmed hero addition, it kinda solves the need for rerefines. I’m hoping for a blue tome or dagger rearmed hero sometime, so both Linde and Summer Linde can have better weapons 😢 Linde’s refine sucks 😔

Very informative and educational stuff! Now I know in the future if I ever want to dupe premium skills like the Atk/Spd Oath 4 skill and Vital Astra. Because I value these skills a LOT.
Yeah I held on to these super premium skills waiting for the right project. It sucks Lif can’t get Vital Astra or Godlike Reflexes, but this opens up so many possibilities
Thanks for the video! The visuals are super helpful for me with understanding the skill inheritance. I have a second Rearmed Lif that I haven't foddered/merged yet and I will reference this video back whenever I plan to use him/add skills to him for max optimization.

I'm good with arcane life with whatever
So I'm willing to bet Arcane Weapons are just gonna be generically good for each of the Weapon Types as they release since Lif's sword is pretty good for all types of sword units.
Then maybe down the line, they'll become more specialised, ie. Sword that is best suited for Fast Swords, etc.
Yeah I believe specialization is going to take some time, but when it happens arcane inheritance will become even better.
In the trailer they mentioned you can specialize the weapons by refining them to get the extra stat increase. But more specialized weapons would be better
Honestly one of my insane thoughts for arcane was on Nemesis with atk and res boons with arcane refined for defense with distant stance, atk/def bulwark, and canto control and then def/res solo for a lack of a seal option honestly with bonfire as the special. The thought proccess being that you cannot escape from him. If you fail to kill him you're stuck.
Huh, so this is what it's like to be early.
I just wish that I could use them as fodder twice and get twice as many skills out of them
Actually now that I've watched further into the video, I think I better understand how rearmed heroes are useful. Still, it seems like you have to invest quite a bit into the rearmed heroes for them to be very useful

I'm really hoping for a rearmed Lance unit soon, I want to give my base catria and new year Laegjarn an arcane Lance weapon to give them essentially the equivalent of a modern prf.
#question who do you think are the best candidates to be a rearmed hero?
Very important deciding the best inheritors for an Arcane weapon: they don’t score as high as an original Prf weapon, and you can’t use the inheritor’s established Prf skills. So basically they are not the clear choice for arena, and seem best for units who could use the extra power but more often PVE than all else.
I do have some ideas for who’d I’d like to give an Arcane weapon first, but I’m eagerly waiting for your recommendations first PM1 so I’ll make without a doubt the perfect choice! 🤩
Now THIS is very informative! I was not planning to summon on that banner, but I ended up getting a couple of Lifs anyway. I didn't want to use them yet until I hear your say about it and once I get all the merges for Sacathe, I will very much give him an Arcane weapon. Thanks for the video, buddy!

Hey pm1 just wanted to say thanks so much for all your hard work really helps me alot just got done watching your forma soul video really really torn about the HoF this month because as a F2P player it's hard. And as a really big fan of SS I'm really trying to think of who I should get but I want to save so formas because if C!Lissa get in I want to have a forma ready and if D!Xander and H!L'arashel get a rerun I would like to get them to. So I wrote down all the questions that I should ask myself from your video and I'm still have a hard time but I'm going to keep thinking about it and I have time!!!! I just want a red tome for a REARMED hero. Leo was my first 5 star on FEH, and he deserved better.

This will be very help once I get at least one copy of Lif and decide who to give the fodder too. The problem is I have a lot of units that seems to want the weapon. lmao OTL Will wait on your other video and think about it some more.
And ngl, this feature has helped revitalized some interest in the game, so I'm really happy for the feature. Of course, I am cautiously optimistic since it's still new and we don't know how it'll be handled in the long run. Still for now, it's a very exciting feature.

This is such a good change. Getting re-refines for all the bad/old refines was always a popular thought in the community, but seemed hard to implement. Arcane weapons really solve the larger portion of this issue while remaining as a very balanced feature.

The skill duplication is soooooo good. I still have to pull multiple of one rare skill (like smoke 4 or viral astra) but now, I can just feed it to lif and whenever he comes around on a legendary banner or gets voted in AHR, that’s a few more copies of smoke 4 or viral astra or whatever else super excited to get another copy of Mareeta and fallen Lillith for this

I kinda regret trying to +10 my B Lysithea bc now I don’t have orbs for this banner, especially since I still need 1 more copy to finish my +10 and Monica has Spd/Res Tempo which is perfect for B Lysithea. And while I was upset about not getting Rearmed Lif bc lack of orbs. I realized I mostly use my Legendary Marth whos +10 anyway. So I at least know what to expect now
OMG I didn't think on multiply Ruptured Sky or Far Save... Rearmed heroes are going to be INSANE!
Rearmed bow and dagger units are going to be such high value. Not only can you multiply deadeye or lethality, but you can also inherit the weapon onto units of all colors... Wish they did that for tomes, but it's too late now.
Might do the distant counter and Ruptured sky trick you did

I’ve got a copy of Lif, and I’m likely going to give it to Alfonse to make him much easier to use as a bonus unit. However, I’m a tad unsure if it’s worth due to slightly reducing his max scoring potential (if I gave him a 300sp B skill).
I’m also a bit unsure on what extra fodder to give to Lif to make the arcane inheritance extra valuable in the long run.
I’ll have to mull this over for sure, but at least this video has given me better insight into how the arcane inheritance works.
Askr trio needs more than rearms man if you could merge em that be great..... Like they need merges and more skill options to be better my askr trio has been sitting there being random units that i dont even use only when im forced to use them in quest.

I am a little bit confused with the skill duplication part...shouldn't it work both ways no matter if you merge the used one into the unused one or the unused one into the used one, als long as the used one had the inherited skills? Because afterwards the Arcane inheritance should be usable again in both ways. :o

Yes, indeed! Works both ways but no reason for me to merge up a good +Atk Lif into a bad IV one :) Sorry if I didn't make that clear! 😅
@@Pheonixmaster1 Oh okay thank you, just wanted to be sure, not that one day I will make a horrible mistake with it when we get like I don't no a Rearmed Healer and I have to summon a billion copies to give it to all the healers that IS wants to stay in the dirt. xD

Since the arcana sword is equip with the lif cav pref skill, will we Still be able to equip the same pref skill from the basic infantry lif if we transfer the arcane sword to him ?
The skill duplication is honestly the most striking feature of rearmed heroes to me personally. This makes the most strategical move to summon rearmed heroes when you actually intend to have them as merge projects so you can make the most optmal usage of the premium fodder you give to them.
I sparked Líf because I just love him as a character (sometimes he's a bit too edgy, but Book III has the best story to me so far and I also can relate to his grief at the loss of so many loved ones), but also because he's actually a good unit. But I'll be looking forward for a future lance rearmed hero so that my glorious Masquerade Eldigan can have a PRF weapon. I really hope Thrasír and Eir also get rearmed alts or at least ascended ones.

Also just an opinion here but idk why they are against both having an arcane weapon and signature skill on someone at the same time- frankly I think that there should be no skill restriction limits in general, just because it'd be really cool to see the kinds of builds people could make (I know its for balance, but I mean, balance is a bit out the window rn; the power creep has been pretty strong for a while now)
1. I'll start saving for a blue or green tome rearmed hero. The moment we get one I'm slapping that weapon on summer Lute or Halloween L'Arachel ASAP
2. Do you think Lif's weapon fits Laslow? He's one of my favorite characters in all FE but has fallen behind quite hard, and this is a great chance to bring him back to the spotlight

I really want an axe, blue tome and dagger rearmed hero for my Camilla, PA Olivia and Halloween Sophia respectively. I love the idea of this heroes to give some opportunities to other heroes that you really want to use.
Your Eldigan example was perfect for me. Never thought about Raptured Sky. I just had one copy of it and never used it on anyone because it's so fcking difficult to get it. Now I could give it without worries to my Seth 😆. So thank you very much 😊

I wonder if there will be a rearm beast? That would be pretty wild
already at it. I got two Lifs and fed one of them Male Byleth and Fallen Gustav now I got Ruptured Sky, DC, A/D Near Trace, and Atk Smoke 4 ready to be passed down. I used one inherit to give Legendary Sigurd Trace and Smoke.
Question i have rearm ophelia should i give it to aversa or should i just refine? Other wise my other pick is the red tome eirika. But i only have one rearm so i cant do both and can i transfer special spiral skills all at the same time cause i have no access to 1-3 without it coming from ophelia otherwise ill just trasfer the tome (also dunno if spiral would be good for aversa anyway and i dunno if eirika can use it) im not gonna transfer anything yet i might get a good arcane user for the red tome later but right now the reason i picked aversa is shes +5 at the moment and i can probably get her to +10 if i get enough grails.
I hope you'll do next about Godlike Reflexes.
If I got this right.
1. Feed premium skills to rearm hero.
2. Feed rearm hero to older unit to inherit weapon + the premium skills
3. Merge used rearm hero to unused rearm hero so premium skills carry over.
4. Rinse and repeat until your rearm hero is merged up.
Thanks PM1! It sucks I can’t use OG Líf with this weapon unless I get rid of his premium skills, though. Hopefully he’ll get a good refine, and another unit like Xander can use it better.
You see, a normal person would just see this video as a guide, but have looked at the finer details and noticed that PM1 was finally able to pull that flame rinkah he was missing his Bite of Flame summoning video ;)
Would it be a good idea to give rearmed wapons to Alfonse, Shareena and Anna, because they are always focused in Arena and other events ?

Had me in TEARS at 3am with that "you have better chances seeing an alien instead of arcanes being formas with same forma weapon types" like alright i'll go find chewbacca on the street somewhere because i'd really like these units to be more accessible.
But lets say they do by some miracle add these units to forma lineups. Can that even work for any inheritance once you get an arcane forma?
It seems like the system works in a way that still counts the arcane hero as being "foddered" and for formas they are locked from being able to even get past that point, so kind of taking half the point of the hero away then and there. Would they have to change formas and make inheritance work for these? I almost feel like at that point it isnt worth it and saving for a summon is better.
I dunno, either way all i know is i was not expecting to hear that alien joke today and it was great
What B skill did you plan on giving Manuela? I was looking over them and the arcane weapon seems to make many of the Armor Bs redundant? I noticed in your video she **didn't have one**.
Hey PM1 I wanted to ask if you could do some builds and/or show how to get the most out of ascended Hilda? I managed to +10 her and she feels incredibly strong in some situations and oddly weak in others. Maybe it’s my builds or the comp I run her with though…
