ive passed the test a few times, was sober as a bird and even offered to do a breathalyzer from the start
@@rory4656 It is not pass fail. It is a way to gather evidence and observe the suspect. Once they start they are almost sure they are taking you to jail. You saying you passed a "few" times is silly. How often do you get pulled over and how drunk do you act? I think you are lying.

Tell the truth about the first cop and the Chief. He has shown up on a stop before with the smell of alcohol and his breath and was reported that it was the same thing this time. Chief could of addressed this in private instead of on a stop in front of the public.
Also, it is alleged Chief knows who the DWI suspect is and was trying to get that suspect off by interfering.

Higher education requirements (A 2.0 GPA, D+, and 16 weeks of training is all you need to be a police officer), Medical evaluation for Health and Steroid usage (steroids are known to increase irritability, anxiety and aggression and cause mood swings, with symptoms of paranoia and lack of emotion), psychological evaluations annually, term limited Civilian Oversight board
Depends on the department. Some departments are well over 16 weeks of training and some or shorter. Certain departments need better training or resources

Why steroids in particular? Most drugs in general can cause those kinds of side effects, not just steroids. Opioids & benzos for anger, amphetamines/stimulants for anxiety & paranoia, benzos for mood swings... honestly, every drug can cause every single one of those things in different people.

Nobody ever has passed a field sobriety test. Plead the 5th. It’s your RIGHT
If you don't do a field sobriety test they will use their judgement based on what they have seen and arrest you. Then they will either do a breath test at the jail or if that's refused get a warrant for a blood test. Pleading the 5th does nothing.

The policeman that got the other cop for a DWI he did excellent job he didn’t pull anything. There was an incident under the circumstances you can hear the officer conducting the arrest tell his fellow officer not to say anything, coaching him to be silent exercises to be silent

i live in a small town. as ive seen long as you have family in the police you get away with dwi's car wrecks. seen it non stop. Same guy wrecked 3 cars drunk while in Hs. Family covered it up.

1st Story. Chief should have lost his job immediately. Side-note, if that Sargent physically assaulted his own Chief, can you imagine what he would do to a normal citizen? The Sargent broke the law in front of several cops and they did NOTHING! That MUST change. 2nd story, FACT...statistically speaking, cops beat their spouses more frequently than average citizens. Might explain why some of them became cops. There are indeed fantastic LEO's out there but its cops like the ones in these stories that ruin everything and solidify the gap between LEO's and Citizens. Shameful...
I think most people become cops for good reasons, but the toxic work environment and the daily interaction with the worst of humanity turns them into something else.

If he felt like he was being threatened he acted accordingly. No one can dictate how he felt. End of story, that’s not up for debate. For example, I’m a gun owner. If I came and found somebody in my house I can assure you I will not be interviewing them, and I will spend not one day in jail…not one day, because I will certainly feel threatened by a stranger simply standing in my house.

There was only 1 corrupt cop in this whole video, the drunk cheif and he faces 0 consequences. The 2nd was your statistically average wife beater and another statistically average drunk.
regardless of what is going on with chief is it ok to argue and accost your boss. if the cop responds this way to his boss imagine how the public is treated. just more evidence you cant trust a cop. police officers have one the highest rates domestic abuse at home more than any other job professional this is not surprising .
