- This is my daughters first time hearing this song! It is a favorite of mine, but I have never seen this live performance so looking forward to it! We are going to do the Night Wish version of this as well!

Back in 1966 one of Floyd's first gigs was in a school in Notting Hill, London. The kids were so stunned they were in a trance. So, when the music stopped there was complete silence. I couldn't help but notice a similar effect on your delightful daughters. This is one of those rare songs that take the listener to another realm. Taking the audience to other realms is a Pink Floyd specialty.

Great reaction. It’s wonderful to see that your daughters are experiencing the high quality music that Pink Floyd creates and plays themselves. They are true professionals. So called “bands” today can’t touch PF. PF is in another league. No one makes a guitar express emotions like Gilmour , he’s an expert.

I saw them in concert for this tour in May 1994 at the old Foxboro Stadium. I can honestly say it was the BEST concert I ever went to. It truly was an amazing experience. Every time I see clips of this concert, it brings me back to that breezy, May night in Foxboro. I think it's great your daughters are experiencing Pink Floyd. They are legends!

I saw this live in Cleveland in 1994. My wife was 8 months pregnant with our youngest son. He claims that because of that, he's not into hip hop or rap he's a rocker all the way like his dad. And a very good guitar player! Thanks for sharing this with you kids!

I bought my first PF album at 16, I did odd jobs to earn enough money. I bought the album "Wish you where here", which I still have after 45 years, but I didn't have how to listen to it. I found a friend who had an uncle who played and made us use his plate. An unforgettable experience.

This is good parenting :) I think it's both good and important to show the younger generation what real music is.
And as a music nerd myself, I feel that this kind of music do something on the inside of your body and mind.

I was at Earl's Court on the night before this performance, the entire concert was almost 3 hours long, in the 1st half they played the entire 'Division Bell ' album with some classics and in the 2nd half they played the entire 'Dark Side of the Moon ' album with some more classics and when they returned for the encore they played 'Wish You Were Here ' ,' Comfortably Numb ' and then they closed with 'Run Like Hell ' ,I hope that helps your daughter with her question.

More Pink Floyd! Your concept of listening with your daughters is a great idea, keep going! Play them "Dogs"! Maybe a big long song with some crazy middle section but I think they will love it. Cheers!

The porch concert lasted about three hours and felt like one hour. The arena was absolutely enormous there were cranes in the background holding up the lights his wife palsy wrote a lot of the lyrics from this era. Not only is David a great guitarist but just And a decent human being. Do you never ever hear anything negative about him you need to watch video He sings sonnet 18 on his flow team recording studio on the river Thisbe It’s really beautiful also he does a cover by Elvis Presley called don’t it’s a beautiful song as well

The person seen from behind at the beginning, in the video on the circular screen, looks a lot like the legendary Syd, the hair is identical. Syd is mentioned in the song. We will never forget it. A genius who shone bright and fast. Ciao from Italy

It would be wonderful if you reacted to the David Gilmour concert "Live in Gdansk" where he plays "High Hopes" with a different ending, which, in my opinion, completes the song. By far the best version of this song! Yes I was at the Pulse concerts in '94 at the old Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan. FYI, total run time for the concert was over 4 hours because they also played DSOTM in its entirety. This was the best concert I ever attended. Great reaction. Thank you.

It transcends language as it speaks to the human condition. Kudos to you! No, really. Kids/children, some adults would benefit from a world class music listening experience. It's refreshing to see, I'm assuming your parents or relatives did the same for you or if they didn't, you realised how important it is to have an adult explain abstract concepts to us as children. I grew up playing and listening to classical music but my first CD was michael jackson's off the wall. it's a 5! lol

PF performed this concert that included the entire DSotM LP. I witnessed this show at Foxboro stadium. It was the first night of 2 scheduled events. As good fortune would have it, PF stayed for a 3rd sold-out concert. I believe the show lasted 3+ hours. Nobody wanted to go home, of course.
