January 1st 2024 I will have been full time reselling for 2 years. There are many things you don’t realize until you go full time and give up a full time job. I left a 6 figure job with a Fortune 50 bank and still wake up each day with a smile on my face.
@@justjulie45Twe buy our own. We are in Florida so we use Florida Blue. If you search around you can find which ones offer a discount or subsidize. My wife’s is expensive due to medications she requires for her illness.
I would never suggest someone with a six figure job with benefits to become a reseller. I don't know what kind of items you sell, but I'd be miserable after leaving that job if it were to mainly sell $10 or $20 items. Hopefully you're average sale price is at least $100 or more. To each their own.
@@justjulie45T If you make enough you can pay for your own health insurance. If you’ll notice the person writing the letter hasn’t even met the deductible for the year. Health insurance like that is mostly for something huge like a hospital stay or a surgery. A full time successful reseller should be able to afford that kind of health insurance. Maybe even afford a better plan.
I quit my job at the end of 2022 (I was a RN) and jumped in feet 1st with little reselling experience. Had only sold stuff that belonged to me. I just now after a year am starting to increase my sales to where I can survive without dipping into my savings. I spent this year building up my inventory and LEARNING the business. Still have a lot to learn, but get a huge amount of joy working for myself and having the freedom to be home with my 83 yr old father. I get a natural high every time I hear that cha-ching. Had my best day ever yesterday $576 on about $100 cost of goods. My goal this year is to start selling on other platforms and expand my knowledge of new categories. I also want to increase my average sales by picking better faster selling products. So I would say that if you feel like you need to do something different then just go ahead with it but have a plan and definitely have some $$$ as a buffer.
I have been reselling since 2000 part time. I am preparing to retire and continue selling to supplement my income. I love reselling and the thrill of the hunt. You gave Luke great advice.
Kevin, this may be one of my best videos! So much great information!! Your family's reselling journey has been a GIFT to so many! You're providing really good, clean EDUCATION content and making a living for your family! Wow! God is good. Wish you and your family the very best in 2024!❤
The fact that you put this video out speaks volumes about your character. You are helping many. I hate to break it to you but you are still teaching. It’s also clear that your students were lucky to have such a good teacher! Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy and profitable new year!
I’m about to launch. I broke my leg in 2020 and lost my income. I’m collecting disability, but it’s hardly enough. Unfortunately I’m still having ongoing issues and can’t commit to a job because of that. That’s why eBay is a great option for me. My son and I will be working together, and when I can’t get around he can fill in for me. I also plan on taking advantage of USPS picking up deliveries from our home, that is a bonus. I’ve been spending so much time bingeing videos! I’m 64, so I’m taking full advantage of senior discounts! I’ve always loved thrifting and flea markets, and I have a good eye for a bargain. I’ve always been a hard worker, too, and I’m excited to be able to help our household more. Wish me luck, and I hope everyone has a very successful 2024! Happy New Year!
Those discounts add up!!! I’m a veteran, and I always ask the thrift stores if they offer a military discount. We spent $15K on inventory this year, so we probably saved around $1000.
Informative video! I have been teaching for 26 years now, middle school social studies and coaching as well. I totally get what your are talking about with how the job wears you down. I'm just starting to dabble in reselling. I'm glad is worked out for you!
Thank you for your honesty. You are a very heads-up guy when it comes to teaching us the biz. I love your positive attitude and your unfaultering attitude about 'the business'. With its pitfalls and rewards, you are the perfect example to follow for someone looking to get out of their 'rat race'. Keep being the 'stand-up / transparent' human being you are. God bless you, Kevin. 😇
I quit my job 2 1/2 years ago and have never looked back. Like you, some people call it “retirement”, but I call it quitting. I love it. Of course, i don’t sell anything, but I would suggest everyone quit because there is nothing in the world like not working. It’s the greatest feeling in the world to not have to work!!!!!
Hey Kevin...thanks so much for your response. I just wanted to add a few extra details that I left out of my original email, that might be of help to others out there. My wife and I are in our early 40s and homeschool our children. Early in our marriage we purposed to get out of debt and stay out. We are pretty simple family and are easily content. We also drive older vehicles, with the exception of a company provided car. We get inventory from a variety of sources....estate sales, thrift stores, flea markets, local connections, pallet liquidation, and just recently have dove into storage auctions. Obviously, yard sales are our favorite and usually best ROI. I feel like with my current job, I missed out on a lot of opportunities during the warmer months and not really having the time due to work. I also try to make the most of my time when I do travel for work and hit thrift stores along my route. I truly enjoy reselling and as you stated have been looking at 2024 being of the beginning of the next chapter. Thanks again for the support and encouragement!
I been doing eBay part-time 20 years and since I retired my 31 year career I been able to sell full-time now 2 years. I wouldn't have jumped in full-time if I didn't have a pension + insurance package. I enjoy the search, meeting people and catching a occasional BOLO. Enjoyed the show.
I am retiring at the end of the next school year in May. Already told admin and have been working on 4 platforms since April so I can replace my income. I work in the secretarial field at my school. So income is easy replaceable. My husband will continue to work.
Hey Kevin! I got my Man-at-Arms in the mail. It was a birthday present for myself. Thank you for the mention! I think a good plan to go full time is to quit in phases. I have been a salaried retail store manager for 20 years. I worked 60-70 hours a week, and I was on call 24/7/365. Reselling allowed me to step down to an hourly position last February. Now I work 44 hours a week and have more time to help grow our reselling business. Last year our total sales were $25K. This year we will have over $55K. I plan to phase out my full time job eventually.
Thank you so much for your easy to understand and straightforward pros and cons on this business. I'm 67, a single grandma and I am trying to get out of an office chair and do something different. So I started surfing about 3 months ago and I still have a lot to learn. You definitely helped me today. Thank you
I'm catching up on these videos. Life got me behind. I stayed up on the picker videos... :-) Wanted to say that the pillow is amazing!!! Also, your advice throughout was great too. I have been considering starting reselling. I have bought a few things. Much more to learn. I appreciate you for the knowledge.
definitley a good topic, Im in this exact situation , although quitting my job has been on my mind for awhile due to a toxic and unfair work enviroment to say the the least abouth that situationit was just getting worse and effecting my mental health , my side hustle selling used clothes and shoes is okay , I never really tried to be fully hands on but now im open to it because I truly enjoy finding clothes to resale and keep for myself win win situation I love it , but good video man definitley needed this
Jumping off from the health insurance topic, I think a good point of discussion for you Kevin may be the health benefits of reselling. There's something to be said about getting up in the morning to do something you actually enjoy, walking the streets of a community/neighborhood sale or the aisles of a thrift store. The social aspect of interacting with complete strangers as well as fellow resellers and friends. Maybe even lifting heavy objects if that's what you like to pick and resell. To me, that sounds a lot better than a 9-5 that forces you to sit in a chair and stare at a computer screen all day every day...
You nailed it. But it’s not always fun. There are frustrating times and you will be spending a good amount of time sitting at a computer when doing paperwork, accounting and especially listing. But the truth is the good far outweighs the bad!
Reselling can also be very stressful, especially in these times. There is a ton of uncertainty and you never know when (or if) you next dollar is coming. I'd never want to be an employee ( ie. slave) again, but reselling can still be very stressful. (And good luck finding affordable health insurance as an individual.)
I do a mix of things as well. I still would consider ebay my main source of income, but also deliver for Walmart as well (which is actually accounts for a good chunk of monthly income even though I only do it probably 10 to 15 hours a week). For me I need to do both to keep up with bills and life in general.
I think this is chock full of good advice. My personal situation is very similar, I've been with my employer for 21 years. At 30 years I can have full retirement benefits. I cannot fathom throwing that tenure away. So I'm sticking it out 9 more years. Get those benefits (for the rest of my life!) And then I'll do something else.
@@commonwealthflipper Hey Kevin, I'm doing great. Just catching up on editing and watching videos during this long weekend. I'm glad yours came up on my recommended list. it was a good one.
I have a goal to cut down my FT jobs hours by April 2024. Only by 8 hours though. I want to have time Saturday/Sundays for yard sales and estate sales. If I can’t up my reselling income to cover the loss of wages, then I won’t do it. But it isn’t a big amount of money I’m losing. So I’m confident I can do it. I won’t quit fully until I have multiple years of progress.
I was a full time ebay reseller and made lots of 💵 before the pandemic hit , and then after the pandemic hit I had to get a job cause sells went down like they are now with everyone, so now I'm a part time reseller and just do it as a hobby and extra 💵 , good thing I saved all that 💵 I made before the pandemic hit, I always tell people that wants to be full time resellers that being a full time reseller nowadays is a big risk to take and to make sure they have a back up plan
@@commonwealthflipperWhat do you think is more realistic in the beginning?Been reselling a little part-time, so far been hitting around $1000 bucks a month.
Although I personally don't recommend reselling as a FT income. I would recommend being a RUclips vlogger like you Kevin. That's where the real money comes from along with reselling on MULTIPLE platforms. Just look up the income of the most popular RUclips resellers and you can see for yourself. Reselling alone, will not make you enough income to justify quitting a reliable (yet boring) job. My opinion only. Kevin gives great advice here!
I worked 19 years and got my retirement package. Been selling online 11 years next Feb, and almost 6 years full time, and my wife quit her job 3 years ago. We work together, and it's the best decision for us. It's not easy, but the freedom is priceless. We have time to take care of my mom and dad...definitely grateful for this opportunity. My mom had a stroke three weeks ago, recovering in hospital. She is 78 and my dad 86 is able to do everything, but slower... It's a blessing to be able to take care of them! Happy new year 🎉! All the best and lots if blessings to you and your 👪! Joe Bee 🐝 from 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 Canada!
I to am a full time unpaid caregiver for my mom. She is physically healthy but has early dementia. Reselling supplements our Social Security checks. I love BOTH jobs. Blessings
Your Mom and Dad are in “ My Heartfelt Thoughts and Prayers-God Bless you all. Coming from a Former Home Health Aide plus 12 other certifications to work under an RN! I loved my job-It was my life and my love. Due to 3 major accidents I cannot work I go numb from waist down after stand/sit for periods of 20 mins or longer. G😊d Bless and Enjoy all your Time you have with your mom and Dad! All I have left is my mom.And she’s my Pride and Joy-for I’m the only child who stuck with her through thick and thin as the other two took off at young teens to be with their dad-My father. The man who raised me was my Dad and I lost him in 2012
The most I ever made as a certified teacher was 42k as well. I picked up an application in September 2007 to go for my master's degree. The economy tanked, everything in education got harder with less results, and I put in a lot more hours. I threw the application in the trash.( I wasn't going into debt in a bad economy.) I left the profession after 11 years of teaching and went back to the corporate world. 40 hour work week and no more. Best choice I ever made.🎉
I remembered when I was furloughed during covid and I went full time into reselling. Was successful at it for 8 months when I was offered my job back. It was a punch in the gut moment. I accepted my job back. Reselling was a fun side hustle. I was losing my love for it by going full time. Now that I’ve been back at work, I enjoy selling on eBay again.
I wouldn't recommend anyone start a business on eBay. It's not a partnership and they have full control. When in reality you are doing 100% of the work. DONT DO IT.
Right now I’m sourcing 100% thrift stores and flea markets. I would like to start going to garage sales and estate sales. It’s cold up north right now so garage sales might be scarce, but I should be able to get to some estate sales. I will also check clearance sections in retail stores too. Walked into my local Walmart and found a whole bunch of Phillies Baseball hats on sale for $5.00 each and bought 9 of the ones I liked. I have them listed for $18.00 each and already sold two of them. I would really like to learn more ways to source too.
AMBITION, in my opinion, is the factor that makes reselling work. We should take a hard look at ourselves and decide - Am I willing and able to source, list, test, clean, ship, research, organize, and keep records 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, 300 days a year, for 3 decades? If so, then yes, a full time reselling career is easily done. How do I know? In 2023 my reselling income - After taxes, After fees, After cost of goods and supplies - my take home income is equal to my teacher retirement income. And I only work at reselling about 20 hours a week. Were I to triple the hours of work I am sure I could nearly triple the income.
Just me but if you have the support of your wife, you have a budget and knowledge of your finances, and you are very unhappy then give it a shot. Who cares what anyone outside of your home thinks about it? They don't pay your bills or live your 40 plus hours of being miserable and unfulfilled. Be happy and do the best you can
Excellent discussion! May I add that another factor is your age. Where you are in your life journey matters. There is a lot of difference between age 25, 35, 45, and 55 regarding financial need. We plan to go FT in the next 18 months. Can’t wait!
I feel like Lucas has the right mindset, talking about looking ahead and stepping out in faith. I am praying that he and his family listen to God and are able to tune out all that isn’t from Him, in Jesus name. Thanks for the video and for caring for your fellow resellers my friend. Have a blessed beginning of 2024.
I am not a full time reseller but a mature person with many life experiences. re: peoples decisions to quit jobs etc. most say "it's not the things you do that you regret, it's the things you don't do"
I would quit and go full time IF my mortgage was paid off, AND i was consumer debt free. Contentment is also absolutely key, I never felt the need for lots of "stuff"...
I'm retired so it's a no Brainerd but I was always reselling part time even while I was working.I love ebaying!! And I love being retired I have Medicare medicide so my ins is covered I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL I do a couple hundred a month loving it
Kevin, I have been watching your videos for quite a while now. I am a big fan of your content. I just started reselling part time last year. Thinking about getting a thermal printer to step up my selling a bit. What brand do you use?
I am starting my ebay business over for 2024. I have over 2000 items listed. I need to get my store lower in listing with better products. I am starting a major sale to eliminate stock listed so I can source better in the future. I have been on ebay for 10 years. I am in my 70's and my family does not want to take over when I am gone. We can always change plans in the future. Hàppy New Year Everyone.
Olá, sou brasileiro e pretendo comprar iPhone na eBay, no Brasil é muito caro. Vocês que moram aí... É confiável? E qual valor encontro um iPhone 8 plus em bom estado? Vocês conseguem me indicar?
This was a great video, thanks for the info/encouragement.. I've been really discouraged lately, we've been so focused on trying to reorganize our finances, I haven't been out to garage sales and I think it's taken the fun out of it. Plus I've only been doing this for about a year and a half, and sometimes I make really great sales, but its also hard to stay focused on doing this every day especially when i homeschooly 3 kids that all have ADHD and other learning disabilities. I dont want to give up though because i really enjoy it and its the only thing that can work with me staying home with the kiddos to homeschool.. On a side note, the kids have also been wanting to do you tube videos and honestly I've also been thinking about it for the past couple years.. so I don't know. I'm just not sure what editing software to get, especially starting out. Do you have any advice on good inexpensive ones?
Hi Kevin, Love your channel & have been reselling for about a year. I’m retired & just do it for a little extra income. My husband & I enjoy going to estate sales, garage sales, etc. I think your best advice is learning to live within your means. Not saying that is possible for everyone, especially if it is a one income household, but there’s definitely more to life than accumulating the latest & greatest “stuff”. For me, Faith, Family & Friends are the most valuable.❤
I agree. The "American Dream" has taken my time, energy and health and taken away time from my children. I wish I could be a full time reseller and spend more time with my kids, but as the only parent in the home I just can't take that big of a risk and quit my job. All the best to those that are gutsy enough to do it. ❤
My thoughts and Prayers are with you as Single parent taking care of children. I too was a single mom and worked 2 jobs because me and my ex got along and shared our time with our child. The judge didn’t tell us what we were doing-We told her what we were doing! Best wishes and keep at part time
I've been buying storage units and picking for over a decade. Supported my family that way for a few years, but I found that I enjoy it more when it's a "hobby" gig. I have a good job, with a Fortune 50 company, where I only work 3½ days a week. That schedule allows me time for family and "treasure hunting". Also, I'm building up a very healthy inventory to become a full-time reseller when I retire in 10 years.
I just quit my job because you told me to. Now what? I have a learning disability but I had a really good job making almost 6 figures. So maybe I was tricked by a troll through email now I’m completely screwed
I have been part time reselling for about a year. It’s been a fun pastime, and it’s something that my wife and I enjoy doing together. It’s been profitable, and we are still learning a lot. Thinking about scaling up a bit in the coming year, but it’s a different equation for us. I’m retired military, so I don’t have worries regarding insurance and covering fixed expenses (i.e. mortgage, etc.). Would be more scary to give up a job with benefits to go full time. But the freedom of schedule and quality of life benefits are a definite plus. I guess my recommendation would be to take a really good look at the numbers before taking the leap.
Cremated remains on USPS wrapping means someone ordered the Cremated Remains shipping materials package from the USPS website. Why order some? Just for the sheer weirdness, unless you have cremated remains that need shipping.
Hi I recently restarted selling on ebay and looking for software. I used to just use a spreadsheet. Does Reseller Genie have a place to add pictures and notes for each listing? A place to archive issues that occurred?
You are assuming that Social Security will be there when you are old, which for someone your age is a MAJOR stretch. I would be telling younger people to save/invest assuming there will be no Social Security for them (or what they get will be worth virtually nothing). Save like your life depends on it, because it does.
Awesome Video Kevin and Awesome Sales! And that pillow is amazing without a doubt! Thank you for all your insight! Your family ROCKS! Hugs to your wife and children from a long time viewer. Kel from Cental Fl. 💜♥️🤗♥️💪🇺🇸🙏Happy New Year! You deserve a break
At least he has some time to get things ready. I quit a terrible job that I had for the past 8 years this year. The job that took its place was terrible too. The stress nearly gave me another stroke so I quit and I have just relied on my eBay and savings to get by. It’s not been perfect but I have made it. I keep looking for work though because it’s hard to consistently source but it’s keeping me going. I also found a pick you would be proud of. 21 vintage my little pony all in I’m about $17 they comp out at about $400. My late father worked for the state in the unemployment office for 35 years he did get lucky in the case of when he started which was the same week Woodstock happened NC didn’t tax the retirement of state employees. Well they ended that in 89 but anyone with five years in were vested. All that to say mom gets his retirement and the feds are the only ones that get taxes. That is a different world from myself I had one steady job for 13 years and then the last 20 probably near 20.
After 20 years at my job, I've been let go😢 I wish I could be a full time reseller! I will say that no job is a guarantee. I know when I get another job, I will be investing in my reselling business more aggressive and push myself to go full time as soon as possible. Thank you for all your insight and information the last few years. I know I have options for me and my wife's future!😺
Ive been selling ebay for a while it was a 50/50 mix with being a back ground actor in Hollywood. during covid i was doing ebay only and sold of many childhood toys and started sourcing at estates and yards when restrictions eased up and started selling at the swapmeet at Ventura county fair grounds. now hoping to start working more doing BAck ground acting
Until he can grow his business he should not even consider quitting his job. He also needs at least 6 months of expenses saved up. If he quits now, he is exposing himself to the risk of ruin - one illness or setback can destroy him. He should not quit his job.
I resold for 18 years and had to get out as of a year ago - long laundry list of why omitted (progressive MS, three other auto-immune problems, and more along with other non-medical considerations). Congrats to anyone who can do it; be sure you know what you're getting into before making the jump. (especially if you sell on eBay or Etsy. ) It sounds like Lucas is one who should make the jump when the timing lines up. Sourcing here without private purchases ...one more reason I got out. Garage sales are highly seasonal here (and have gone seriously downhill), and the thrifts are abysmal. A friend does house cleanouts and gets 90% of his stock that way.
During the BEST Ebay selling EVER, I had lost my full time job. So, it was kismet that I was doing so well on Ebay. Between hikes in fees and shipping, and having to care for my husband 24/7, my Ebay selling dropped off long time ago. People used to buy stuff I found to resell where they were (usually England or Australia). Because of shipping costs, that ended many years ago. Still fighting to get my stats back up to something that will actually be considered an income.
Love watching your videos, very helpful and insightful, God Bless you and your endeavors, been selling online part- time for about a year and a half, just marketplace and don't ship right now.. Watching your videos, want to and trying to expand... So All info is helpful, thank you so much, Would like more insight on how to sell on E -Bay, and ship if possible, thank you so much...🤗
At least one spouse should keep their job because if the the spouse's health insurance is covered by the employer, the benefits have been doubled. Also income is diversified in case Ebay/Amazon/etc suspends your account.
I personally tell people don’t go full time til you can see profit. That means you’ve done enough scrolling on marketplace or walking around thrift stores for hours at a time weeks in a row looking EVERYTHING up that you have an idea of what to look up when you see it. Plus you have the money to invest once you find stuff.
What went through my mind was I had 2 surgeries that put me out of my professions for 6 months (I was a server) so I started my dream business. An electronics repair business which went well but I realized I could make way more money breaking down the electronics and selling them on eBay and WAAAYYY more money than serving. Lol
😊😊 I've been selling stuff on Facebook marketplace, I haven't tried eBay yet I think they charge too much but I got some stuff that I'm selling and I really do like your videos I used to watch and see picker I don't like the new name he has but needless to say I like your videos and thank you for the advice that you give appreciate you have a good year coming up... And may God bless you and your family 🙏🙏 where do you yard sale at I want to try to run into you and get a sticker 😊
What do ppl do about health insurance? I feel like I’m working just to pay for the health insurance. I have to work 30 hours to qualify, it costs me $100 a month, and the deductible is $6350 before it covers a single penny. That’s for me only. I sell part time. It’s great pocket money.
I do nothing for insurance because its a scam hence why your not even covered before $6400.what a waste of money.if something happens and you have a medical emergency its a law that you get treatment so whats the point of insurance ?
@@18wheeler76 Because you will still be billed. If you don’t pay, or make a payment plan, then you account will go into collections and if you don’t pay then, then you’ll get a judgment. A collection might drop off after some amount of years. However, a judgment doesn’t drop off. You won’t be able to do anything financially, including buying a house and maybe a car with a loan. A judgment will always follow you.
@@18wheeler76didn't Obama make Health insurance mandatory? I remember some young, single people telling me the fine they would to pay was much cheaper than the monthly premiums for mandatory health insurance. 😅Didn't Trump do away with that fine?
What worries me is not having a receipt for my purchases. My account tells me if no receipt than you can not claim it. So if I buy a garage sale item for $5 and sell for $10 I made $10 not $5 so I break even. People might get away with it until you get audit from the IRS.
@commonwealthflipper wish you could do a utube one on this topic. Just very curious how everyone does this. I can't see the IRS taking someone's word on what someone pays for something. Thanks for all your videos.

If you make enough you can pay for your own health insurance. If you’ll notice the person writing the letter hasn’t even met the deductible for the year. Health insurance like that is mostly for something huge like a hospital stay or a surgery.
A full time successful reseller should be able to afford that kind of health insurance. Maybe even afford a better plan.

Thanks for being honest. I have a goal for January 1, 2027 to quit my job. In the meantime, I’m paying off debt and putting money away.
Me too. Only on eBay 10 years.
Same!!
I am retiring at the end of the next school year in May. Already told admin and have been working on 4 platforms since April so I can replace my income. I work in the secretarial field at my school. So income is easy replaceable. My husband will continue to work.
It is super admirable and very appreciated how real you get in these videos!
Hi Kevin, its New Years here in Australia, wishing you and yours a fantastic New Year and 2024 continues to be a blessing. Thanks for all the content.
Awesome
Thank you so much for your easy to understand and straightforward pros and cons on this business. I'm 67, a single grandma and I am trying to get out of an office chair and do something different. So I started surfing about 3 months ago and I still have a lot to learn. You definitely helped me today. Thank you
@@lorilamarca1A 67 grandma who surfs??? That’s awesome!!! Be careful out there because our bones can break in our 60’s!!!!
I'm catching up on these videos. Life got me behind. I stayed up on the picker videos... :-) Wanted to say that the pillow is amazing!!! Also, your advice throughout was great too. I have been considering starting reselling. I have bought a few things. Much more to learn. I appreciate you for the knowledge.
start selling before you buy more.
definitley a good topic, Im in this exact situation , although quitting my job has been on my mind for awhile due to a toxic and unfair work enviroment to say the the least abouth that situationit was just getting worse and effecting my mental health , my side hustle selling used clothes and shoes is okay , I never really tried to be fully hands on but now im open to it because I truly enjoy finding clothes to resale and keep for myself win win situation I love it , but good video man definitley needed this
Jumping off from the health insurance topic, I think a good point of discussion for you Kevin may be the health benefits of reselling.
Nice to hear from you my friend. Hope you are doing well.
The week after Christmas turned out to be my single best week of the year!
Nice to see Pepper!! I was getting worried about her.
About to jump into reselling. If I can make 5 grand a month, I can quit my full-time job. Love the channel!
That isn't easy to do.
@@commonwealthflipperWhat do you think is more realistic in the beginning?Been reselling a little part-time, so far been hitting around $1000 bucks a month.
im shopping while learning.
Best choice I ever made.🎉
New subscriber ! Thank you !
Nice.
Happy New Year from Minnesota, got excited to see the Vikes jersey... SKOL!! 😂💜💛💥
Great video!
Can’t wait!
Yup
Have a blessed new year!
"I was looking for a job when I found this one" I tell myself this all the time. TFS Friend!

I sold that same Dick Tracy figurine that I got from a vintage toy box. How cool that you have all of the characters and then some!
Hello hello.

Awesome
Hello, love the videos!
Just curious why you quit teaching in the middle of a school year? I would think a teacher would quit at the end of a school year.
The commodore takes me back. That was my first computer I bought myself when I was in High School. Lol giving away my age.
Excellent advice. I would add that they should be good at picking 😅😅
Me too I was 18 years at my job.

I think you need a ? at the end of the title.
Very few resellers sell $2,000 of pre-owned items in 1 day.
Is your family helping with shipping?
I think he made it quite clear in the video.
@@darrenpayne8205 i’m sure he did. I didn’t watch the video but I wouldn’t have even clicked on it if there was a?
eBay scammed me. I'm deleting my account.
Until he can grow his business he should not even consider quitting his job. He also needs at least 6 months of expenses saved up. If he quits now, he is exposing himself to the risk of ruin - one illness or setback can destroy him. He should not quit his job.
Better keep that job 🤣🤣🤣
I am retired from the railroad and get a good pension but I resale everyday. Really enjoy it and probably will keep doing it as long as I can.
My daughter as a teacher pays for her family's insurance also and it's a lot, after 15 years she's burned out 😢😢
I personally tell people don’t go full time til you can see profit. That means you’ve done enough scrolling on marketplace or walking around thrift stores for hours at a time weeks in a row looking EVERYTHING up that you have an idea of what to look up when you see it. Plus you have the money to invest once you find stuff.
Ok I’ll do it!

If they’re selling full time and know what they’re doing they can buy their own health insurance. Or maybe check with the marketplace.
I do nothing for insurance because its a scam hence why your not even covered before $6400.what a waste of money.if something happens and you have a medical emergency its a law that you get treatment so whats the point of insurance ?
@@18wheeler76
Because you will still be billed.
Not the case. Get a separate account for reselling and get some good advice. You can claim it.
@commonwealthflipper wish you could do a utube one on this topic. Just very curious how everyone does this. I can't see the IRS taking someone's word on what someone pays for something. Thanks for all your videos.
