We have seen several and ate at a couple restaurants. Very clean and well kept, not a surprise! Strong German influence here for sure. I will call that out in another video, more to follow!
Same thing happened to me in a record store in Rotorua, NZ, got told off for looking at the vinyl condition of a secondhand lp (and no notes on sleeve to indicate condition). Ridiculous! I just left and put my money elsewhere.
If pets aren't spayed or neutered in the states, there would twice the amount of strays here and there are already too many. Animal control can't handle them all. Who wants to be spayed or neutered, well, people do birth control differently. Gal Costa, Caetano Veloso, Astor Piazzolla, Baden Powell, Gilberto Gil, Milton Nascimento, Tim Maia among many others are worth looking for. Enjoy the trip.
Thanks for those tips! I agree the states has to be more aggressive in managing pets but it is striking how well the approach they take here seems to work. I think the culture here is very positive toward dogs. Very different in Korea, eg, where they are eaten if caught. US is much better than that! Seemed worth describing, and maybe trying to inject some humor! Thanks for the comment!
Man I wish I was smoking cigars and record shopping in Chile right now! That Sex Pistols bootleg is awesome I was in a record store in the states pulling a disc out to look at the condition and I could feel the owners eyes on me, I look up and she’s glaring at me like she wants to kill me. Lol I’m not buying a used record sight unseen, sorry.

Yeah I’ve encountered it in the states also. Amoeba is one I don’t care for that way, though I still go in when I’m close…can’t help myself!
