Yeah, that Rodriguez story is weird. Big in South Africa.
I’m going to do more on Rodriguez. His story is compelling and S Africa is central to it. And his records are just so good. Turned out to be maybe the central theme of my visit. Unexpected!

I always wondered with the White Album if the number on the cover corresponds with the actual record. For example, if you had number 00005, does that mean the actual record is the fifth copy they pressed?
Honestly I’m not certain but that was always my understanding. Worth some research I’m thinking…
