The old school gated elevators are so much a part of the grand but dilapidated feel of Buenos Aires - that was nice to see. And then, in the right places, the crackle of energy from the people and music against this place-out-of-time backdrop is unlike almost anywhere else and very special indeed. Enjoyed the video, thanks for putting it together Dr. Robert.
The Modern Jazz Quartet Album is really a great album. Super Cool finds Doc! Can't wait for you guys to get back and see more of your videos. Be Safe Doc!!!!!!
You are always my first responder! We def need to meet up! Are you going to Austin? And btw I added the wrong elevator video. Put the funnier one up as a short. At least I hope it’s funnier…
@@Doctore_Robert doc I look forward to your videos. I wish I could get to Austin that would be awesome. You always have a standing invitation to come to western PA. Keep the videos coming. Love them.
Congrats. The Almendra record is a great find. Probably one of the most influential records in early Argentinian rock/folk. Some psych as well. Originally recorded in 1969.
Hello! Punta Del Este is super cool. One great record by Soda Stereo is Cancion Animal. I would also recommend the album (there´s a reissue) by Invisible, called El Jardin de Los Presentes. It is GREAT!! Thanks for sharing what you have found in Chile and Argentina. Really nice stuff. Nelio.
Soda stereo are amazing. I have several of their records. You should check out their MTV unplugged concert recording. Also, check out Almendra, great Argentinean 70’s band.

I want more of them!
I hoped you would turn and look over the balcony and scream, "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina!" Not drop a lighter 14 stories.
That would def be better than a lighter!
