Thank you for this video! I have one of them radios, and only in the last week or so have been trying to listen to the ISS when it passes over. It's been really great to hear people making contact over such a wide area! Yesterday I tuned in and heard this horrible noise, I thought maybe someone was trolling the ISS with beeps and bloops. When I saw your video and heard that same sound, it clicked! Hopefully I can catch it doing that again and try to decode the image.
First time I saw SSTV was on a ZX Spectrum. I was amazed at a picture from audio. My neighbour was a SW Listener and also RX like a teletype news. Got me to do my RAE. Great Hobby
No problem David. Usually the SSTV and crew voice downlink is 145.800, however on this particular occasion (Dec 23) the downlink is on 437.800Mhz. Sorry for the confusion, just trying to future proof the video 😉 Thanks for watching, Ben de M7FRS
Hi Ben it's Paul G0 VRY must be a weird thing with my firmware the radio will not transmit with a mike plugged in and squelch is open what ever I do. Thanks for your help Paul
Hi Paul, I think other people may have expired similar problems when trying to use a speaker mic. I believe it is something to do with non standard wiring possibly? 🤷♂️

I'm an astronaut. I can prove that the ISS Space station is real and not a garbage can hanging in a helium balloon. Good video.
Space isn't real

Ah OK thank you it is a strange one, I've purchased an Abbree 2520 that seems to work very well.
Thanks for your help
You can do it easier than that just using your phone with web SDR and an sstv app
Try the IJV firmware…;)
Ppl really believe theres a space station? 😂😂😂😂
No just you
Just you....
