@DejaExotica most if not all preCivil War African Americans are mixed with Caucasian and native American. I've read quotes of 20%-40% Caucasian for black Americans. It doesn't mean we're not black. Black is more of a political term to unite us that gained ground in the 1970's, even though it's used by many to refer to our race. That's why people with almond and hazelnut skin are called "black" in the U.S. It's not really their race. It's their ethnicity. In the U.S. some of our terms are used interchangeably for race and ethnicity, so it's okay there's room for debate. No shade taken or intended❤️
@DejaExotica when my parents were growing up in the 1950's nobody cared what color you were if you had ANY African blood, you were 'colored' or 'negro'. In the 1970's we united under the banner of 'black'. Nobody really started talking about 'mixed race' until we were legitimately marrying people of other races.

Thank God I found this video! The ones I have found have long hair but mine is almost waist length and it is hard to wrap! I have not wrapped my hair in ages I typically just clip it up and put my bonnet on but eventually that is not going to work anymore! Hopefully, this works for me! my hair is a little shorter than yours!

Use clips or large pins until you put the scarf on then remove them right before you tie it tightly

I still can not wrap my hair. It’s always a bump in the middle and it all falls
Use clips to keep it stable until you put the scarf on, then right before you tighten it.. slid the clips out from under the scarf.
