I'm so glad I looked up an easier method and found this video because before I was doing the old "part in the back, wrap and hold each section down with bobby pins. Put on hair net then take bobby pins out one by one." that my mom did/taught me but this is a *whole* lot faster. Idc if it's perfect as long as it stays up long enough for me to wrap on the hair net. Tip: Your hair "sticks" better if it's oiled up. Be it with shine or your natural hair oils just make sure your hair isn't entirely dry.
I’m glad to hear you found this method much easier! ☺️ I actually just recorded that technique as well lol. 😆 literally just hold for a sec and quickly put the hair net on lol. Yes you are right! I add a mist spray most nights before i wrap and it helps with the wrapping ❤️
I think after years of seeing my mom do this, I saw this video and got curious if I could achieve it and got it right on my first try! Latin mom influence jeje
Thank you, I've always struggled with my long hair. This really helped. People always oversimplified their explanation of it back in the day and it got me frustrated. So, I always did my own other method of wrapping my hair. Lol
You did that girlfriend 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿! I am absolutely HORRIBLE at wrapping my hair-probably one of the reasons why I don’t wear my hair straight often 😅! Your hair looks great, good job 👍🏿!
Thank you! 😊 I hear that 😅 I used to be terrible as well 🙈 But I was a straight natural for about 5,6 years and always had it straightened so i had to learn quickly 😆 Thank you so much! 💕
Thank you for sharing this! This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on YT so far, as you tackle how to conquer that middle part. I’m here because I’m now wearing a silk press and I kinda forgot how to wrap my hair.
You have alot of beautiful hair and you did that i love to wrap my hair just haven't since im natural for 15 yrs this bought it back for me i will be wrapping it after i blow dry when i wash it thank you
Thank you! 🥰 15 years! Nice! Those curls must be loving the lack of heat 😍 I must say my hair looks amazing when I haven’t used heat in a long time 👌🏾👌🏾
Excellent tutorial. Best and easiest I’ve seen… my wrap still came out bad, but imma keep trying… *25yrs later… still ain’t got it! 😂😂😂 ah well! I do Bantu knots for heatless curls/waves.
This video was very helpful! I always have a struggle with wrapping up my hair and always getting it wrong my hair would usually get Bunched up in the back but after watching and following your video it’s not as bad as it’s always is a bit smoother I just need some more work into :)
amazing tutorial! thank you so much ♡ that was really helpful I actually have wavy hair but making it look decent is even harder than straightening it but I always sleep funny so my hair goes everywhere and I've known about this method of maintaining straightened hair but I didn't know how to do it , so u were so helpful , appreciate it ! have a good day
You don’t wrap your hair? And yours stays straight for a while too👌🏾 What do you usually do?? This is how i keep mine straight for a week, usually after a week it gets a lil frizzy and then i just bun it after that.
I'm doing this for my wife, Thank you for this video.
Lovely to hear! 🥰 No problem.
Very sweet of you, brother!
I'm doing for my daughter 😂...she's 6
That was magic 😮 I never knew how to properly wrap my hair so I end up having to add heat the next day. I can't wait to try this

🥰 You’re welcome ❤️ I’m glad it helped. I remember trying over and over when i was young and literally almost in tears about not being able to do it 🤣
I love how u wrap your hair. It looks easy but it takes practice to make perfection!!!
Thank you! 😊❤️ Yes you are right about that!

Too right! It really does 😉👌🏾
I haven't wrapped my hair in ten years 😁
Thanks for the motivation ☺️
Watching this video because I haven't wrapped my hair in 15yrs due to being natural. Here I am with a fresh relaxer struggling 😂
15 years 😅 How’d it go? Lol
Am 12 years ... Practice makes perfect
If you wrap it you don't need a relaxer sis 💯 just tlc and a couple of products ❤ Happy Hair Day
Whew! I’m in the same boat. I have locs, but I just pressed my baby’s hair and I can’t remember how this goes. 😂
Depends on the person. Nothing keeps my hair from reverting, ant it’s too much trouble to straighten it everyday.
Thank you so much. I’ve watched so many videos but yours was the one that helped me the most.
😊🙌🏾 I’m happy to hear it helped! Thank you for the feedback 😁❤️

My top keeps crossing over and ruining it.

I think it’s really hard for those of us with fine strands. Our hair does stick to itself the same way. Idk if that’s your issue but that’s def mine
You did that!!!!

What scarf prevents your hair from drying out? Thanks.
Satin is best 👌🏾 Anything cotton or polyester will dry it out x
Thanks for sharing
What brand of hair oil spray did you use?❤
I believe it was the KeraCare Silken Seal Liquid Sheen Spray
Good video but I’m freshly silk press and can’t get it to stay😢
Thank you ☺️ Ahhh, have you tried using clips?
I can't figure out how to hold the centre back part lol
You could try using some clips? Have you seen my latest hair wrapping tutorial? I use some clips in that video.
Thank you so much, my hair grew out during the pandemic and I’ve had a horrible time getting it wrapped because it’s never been long.
No worries 😊❤️
I can't wrap my hair without using bobby pins. It doesn't stay it keeps falling of I don't.

Ima start doing this🎉🎉👸🏾❤
