I have very curly hair and when I do my tubi I do the same steps but starting from the back to avoid having my hair with a weird parting. I don’t use Bobby pins to avoid marks. Your tutorial was very informative 😊

I'm egyptian and we call this hat or cap طقية my mom and sister have loose wavy hair and when they come out of the shower they wrap their head like this and let it dry in one side for a while then take it out and pin it on the other side for a while. we don't have a tubi, they keep the pins in. it helps straighten the hair. I have curly hair and my mom always tried to pin it up for me but the pins give me a headache so I never do it 😂
Hi! Wrapping your hair is usually beneficial after a blow out because it reduces frizz, prevents tangles and waves, or dents. At night sometimes I sweat so this prevents my hair from getting curly because of moisture.

The tubi isn’t really meant to be done on damp hair, it is usually done when you get your hair styled (blown dried), to preserve it flat and free of frizz. 🙂

If you do this when hair is damp, how can I avoid the indentations of the clips?
I wrap it in a hair wrap that has holes in it so I usually slide the clips out so they don’t leave indentation!
