In this video, I showcase my new modification to my tank setup. If you are looking to cut back on the extra pumps inside your sump, this is a great option for you. One pump (plus a backup) to feed water to the display tank, calcium reactor, UV light, possible chiller, GFO/Carbon reactor, and a frag tank if needed. Having multiple feed pumps means multiple power supply and outlet being used. I like the simple design of combining all into using a manifold with one pump. I know some may argue that if the pump goes down, so does all the other equipment but that is why you should always have back up pump on stand by. That is my recommendation.

Could you please show how you connected the piping to the stock bulkheads. Also, the sizes etc? Are you going to continue to use the stock drain lines? Thanks for the awesome vids

At 4:35 in the video, you can see that I'm using clear 3/4" hose to connect the two barbs with 2 plastic clamps. The reason for this is to be able to replace the red sea pipe as quick as possible is there is an issue instead of having to build out a separate replacement piece if I had glued the manifold to the feed pipe. I hope that makes sense. If not, watch my soon to be released video where I discuss this in details.

very nice thanks for sharing, are what size are the pump outlets? and are they metric? you mentioned an issue with the power supply, is it 220v or 120v or something else?

The power supply supports 120 to 220v if I'm not mistaken. The pump adaptor comes in different sizes. 3/4", 1" and 1.25" size. 2 sets. They are standard and not metric.

I'm looking to replace the diaphragm valve that came with my 625 with a gate valve like yours. Where do I find the part numbers/parts I need to order to make that switch?

Good evening Modern Reefer. Thank you for the videos! Big fan. Question: How do you have your UV plumbed? I am actually working on replicating the manifold you have done. Trying to plumb it but wanted info on how you have yours plumbed. Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you.

I have my UV vertically in the sump. The top of the UV has a 90 degree elbow that comes straight down and the water exits to the sump area in front of the skimmer intake. The water is fed from the first valve on the manifold and goes to the bottom of the UV. I have 2 unions on the water feed pvc line to the UV to ensure I could move the UV around a bit before mounting the UV bracket to the wall. I hope that makes sense.
