I have an MSi Trident 3 because I liked how portable it was, but ended up liking this build and managed to find most of the parts at great prices that I've now set myself on this build! The difference I've done is gone for 32GB of RAM and 1TB M.2 because I found them for only £5-10 more so felt right to do so! I low how well you went through your build too. Some can skip small details there and then, but you did great to the point of where I can use this as a guide for when I attempt mine!
@@cartierr7485 I don't see why it would? It's a squeeze, but you could install two fans at the bottom of the case just to improve airflow. The cheaper motherboard + high quality PSU combo is fantastic for someone on a budget. More expensive motherboards achieve stability through power filtering and management, i.e. they have a lot of components to help deal with bad power input, and/or strange power requirements. if your CPU is running stock in a thermally constrained system, and you live in area/building with good source power, a good PSU will give you the same benefits, and it can also out-live your CPU/Mobo/RAM.

Just finished a similar build weeks ago. 5600x+b550+sf600+3060ti. It is a fine itx case as its price and everything works just fine. I feel 5600x is the best CPU for this case, considering the thermals. 7000 series ryzen is still too costly and intel CPU are too hot for this.
Excellent build; also very good video editing and breakdown of the process- subscribed! I do think it's worth noting that DLSS 3 would also work well at 1440p for single player games like Cyberpunk 2077 if the budget were closer to $1k USD, but honestly I can't complain about your choices within $900. That leaves extra room for dedicated peripherals.
I tried DLSS3 on the 4060, and it is a no go. You need 1080p resolution to have close to 60 fps, and if you don't and do 1440p, driving the car feels wobbly like driving a boat if you have 30 fps base and shooting is innacurate. Maybe it is fine for those playing consoles, but I cannot stand the latency of 30 fps. The alternative is to drop quality but in that case it isnt' useful.

4:35 I wonder if there is an adapter to connect USB-C headers to USB 2.0 headers since most motherboards seem to still have that header. Obviously you won't get the full speed of USB-C, but there are plenty of USB-C dongles/devices that only use USB 2.0 or are USB 2.0 compatible (For example, the Apple 3.5mm dongle, which for this case would be extremely useful since it has no front panel 3.5mm jack)

A few things to note: if you want to make this, get the same psu or at least a psu that has braided cables because I didn't and it was a huge pain in the ass. Also start the PC before putting the GPU in because you might need to change the pcie in bios to gen3 because the riser cable is gen3. Otherwise the PC won't display anything.

The Power Supply is a Be Quiet SFX Power 3 450W. I'm still waiting for an adapter to connect the USB C to the USB 2 header on the mainboard. Not the best option but at least it will work that way. And a Intel Arc 750 is also on the way.
Watch out about the 3rd generation riser cable, for newer gpu's only the 4th gen riser cables will get a post. Got this from experience with pretty close the same build.

Estou montando meu Pc gamer exatamente com essa case, com um Rayzen 7 5700x, 32gb de memorias ram e uma RTX 4060 colorfull 8gb, acredito que vai ser uma boa máquina...🇧🇷
Got a knock off of this case for 80. The cpu cooler doesn't fit, the gpu extension is crushed by the mother board and the inside power cable is backwards getting crushed too. It works but for how long.
I feel like putting in a rtx 4060 low profile and undervolting it while keeping the same clock speed in that case and undervolting the ryzen 5 5600x but keep the same boost clocks to get lower temps and capping the fps in rivia statistic tuner to get even more consistent fps while using even less power.I could get the rtx 4060 low profile to 30-70w of power with the fps cap and undervolt and the ryzen 5 5600x to 40-45w while both components wont even barely exceed 50 degrees on 100% load.

did you use a usb c mobo?
What gpu did you use?
the build are totally compact that i think i can fit it in my mountain backpack, along with portable monitor and mouse + keyboard lmao
Estou montando meu Pc gamer exatamente com essa case, com um Rayzen 7 5700x, 32gb de memorias ram e uma RTX 4060 colorfull 8gb, acredito que vai ser uma boa máquina...🇧🇷
After watching ps5 pro launch everyone is on search for 700$ budget PC
You are my favourite Devyn Johnstone ❤
Please do a review/build of the Lian Li Q58. Would love ur opinion. Your reviews are so helpful ❤
Got a knock off of this case for 80. The cpu cooler doesn't fit, the gpu extension is crushed by the mother board and the inside power cable is backwards getting crushed too. It works but for how long.
soo cool! mostly likey going to follow your build as i have a job that requires me to move location every few months,
Cool build dude! Darn it... you're tempting a little to change my build. That case looks purtee neat!💎✨👌
Love the video, quick question tho. If i were to copy this build, what would be a compatible motherboard that does have a type c header?
I feel like putting in a rtx 4060 low profile and undervolting it while keeping the same clock speed in that case and undervolting the ryzen 5 5600x but keep the same boost clocks to get lower temps and capping the fps in rivia statistic tuner to get even more consistent fps while using even less power.I could get the rtx 4060 low profile to 30-70w of power with the fps cap and undervolt and the ryzen 5 5600x to 40-45w while both components wont even barely exceed 50 degrees on 100% load.
You’ve earned yourself a subscriber 👍🏻
Can you add liquid cooling instead?
The layout reminds me of my case, DAN A4 SFX. It's just a tiny bit larger than the A4, 7.2L vs 8L.
Shows what you can do when you have to spend almost no money on aesthetics like nice looking cables good looking components etc and no rgb, very cool!
