Occasionally one still gets to see the C&NW cars. I usually make sure I keep them in the videos when editing the footage. Thanks very much for your nice comment. I really appreciate it :)
Nice - I can tell it's an EMD SD70 by the horn :) NS 371 working up the grade - very cool indeed! I think the camera you use is awesome - talk about sharp!
One should probably used to it by now, but I found some of the NS trains were extremely long on that day, which contributed to the struggles. I use a Panasonic WXF1 camcorder and I'm happy with it!
It's good you can find new locations for us. The new spots are all great. I really like the curve in Hiram and the elevated viewpoint in Braswell. The NS and BNSF locomotives are all huge, there are true heavy duty engines. Thanks a lot for this excellent video. Keep up the fantastic job, your uploads are always much appreciated. :)
Yeah, it was the first time I was in this area, but I was out with friends who knew good spots. Most through trains have 4,400hp 6-axle power nowadays, but it was good to see some variation of power. Particularly interesting was the BNSF intermodal 264 with four generations of GE power on it. Great you like the video!
Haha, "Southern Style" makes perfect sense in multiple ways :) Yeah, I couldn't do what I do with a tripod. I have a very good one, though, but rarely use it.
The hill was quite a bit of a hike lol, but I agree it's a nice location. Unfortunately, daylight was already fading and only one train showed up in time.
Congratulations on your channel and beautiful footage, it was great, these days ago I posted another video of the locomotives of the logistical course in Araraquara s.p, thanks.
Hi MBMARS I hope all is well with you. It has been a long time glad to be back watching again. I was surprised a long train going up hill did not have any DPU on the end. Beautiful shots as always I am going to be watching more often. Take care and be well
Yes, thanks, everything's fine with me. I hope you're doing well, too. NS does some crazy things nowadays and it doesn't seem they're running very smoothly in the Atlanta region these days. Take care!
In mableton where you standing allan Smith was recording there when he fillimed union pacific breaks down northfolk southern passes and NS meets union pacific in the tour
Excellent video sir, keep up the great work, im still here but nit commenting as much, was u able to catch the fake/warbonnet on 264 a couple days ago? Also keep up the fantastic work!
Very cool, thanks so much! No, I haven't been out railfanning much recently. I hope spring will offer some nice opportunities, though. I probably take a break from work in the next few days and try to catch some trains.
i see you have a new intro, and yesterday, i was plaining to go to chamblee ga on sunday, but i missed out and missed some bnsf power on a intermodal train cause my dad had to work :(
Did anyone else catch the Chicago and northwestern train car and very beautiful quality I would recommend this RUclips channel to any railfan

Thanks so much and you're very welcome! I know, it's always nice to get some additional info about location and trains in these videos.

Excellent compilation !!! James.
Thanks, James! I'm happy you enjoyed it.
that GEVO sounds so amazing 4:25
Great to see some new stuff, Mars! I love listening to heavy trains crawling up the grades in run-eight. 😎
Yea, all those southbounds were very slow - actually for multiple reasons.
Excellent RR videography - as always. Always enjoy the diversity of motive power on the NS.
Thank you very much! It's true, it never really gets boring on NS (if they run trains...).

Excellent "Southern Style" video presentation. You're very good at hand-holding the camcorder!

i know I'm kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good place to stream new movies online?
@Aaron Dominic flixportal :)
@Kyson Jamal thank you, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it !
@Aaron Dominic No problem :)
You always post great videos. Thanks for uploading.
I'm glad you enjoy them! You're welcome!
6:30 That was the train I previously mentioned that the 2nd unit blew lots of black smoke. It was spectacular! Great catches!
Yes, I thought you meant this one. The ACe was a big smoker and apparently incapable of providing enough juice to help pull the train up the hill.
Love to see trains working upgrade.cool catch of the heritage unit.my favorite location of this video was the hillside you filmed from, nice footage!
The hill was quite a bit of a hike lol, but I agree it's a nice location. Unfortunately, daylight was already fading and only one train showed up in time.
Super film!
Thanks very much!

Thanks! Greetings back to the UK. Great there are so many rail fans in the UK who like watching videos on this channel!
Excellent video, even on this gloomy looking day.
Yes, it's true, it was a tough day out there, but the footage came out well. Great you enjoyed the video.
Congratulations on your channel and beautiful footage, it was great, these days ago I posted another video of the locomotives of the logistical course in Araraquara s.p, thanks.
Thank you very much! Awesome video! I really like the engines you shot.

I enjoyed MB. I'm going downstairs to run my mini NS! Thanks for the videos!
Awesome! Watching train videos also makes me working on my layout at times. You're welcome!
Nice video. I'm going to be in folkston for the railwatch
Thanks! Cool, have fun!
Well done. I love your video style!
Very cool! Thanks very much!
Great video as always!
Thanks very much!
Excellent video !
Thanks!
Great catches, and great video
Thanks very much!
4k amazing ! thx you
Yep, 4k really makes a difference. I always enjoy watching videos in 4k.
the horn of his locomotive. similar to the horn of an electric train in my city, Bogor Indonesia
Lol. Some sound like ship horns, which is cool, knowing that there are no waterways nearby.
Keep 'em coming!
Yep, I will.
In mableton where you standing allan Smith was recording there when he fillimed union pacific breaks down northfolk southern passes and NS meets union pacific in the tour
Austell and Mableton are simply very popular spots for railfans in the Southeast.
I miss seeing Triple Crown Road Railer Trains on NS
I think they still exist, but not here.
@@mbmars01 Yep, I believe some part of Illinois or Missouri
Very Nice! 👍🏻
Thanks!

i see you have a new intro, and yesterday, i was plaining to go to chamblee ga on sunday, but i missed out and missed some bnsf power on a intermodal train cause my dad had to work :(
Sorry you missed that train. 264 often has BNSF run-through power so I'm sure you'll catch it some day.
@@mbmars01 yeah, i will when my mom gets a day off work, and nice new intro
I seen that dash 9 have peace of ex conrail 1:00

What is up with the long ass engine model #### ??? Just call it a bt25 or something!!!! 😀😀😀😀😁😁😁🍺🍺🍺🍺
Try madison georgia that's where csx is
I've been there recently (check out video [7d] on my channel). Unfortunately, there aren't many trains on this line.
