کراچی سے لودھراں تک ڈبل ٹریک 60 (بلکہ شاید 50) کی دہائی میں مکمل ہو چکا ہے اور دونوں ٹریک اس وقت سے استعمال ہو رہے ہیں۔
کراچی سے لودھراں کا فاصلہ، کراچی سے پشاور (براستہ لاہور اور راولپنڈی) کے کل فاصلے کا آدھا فاصلہ ہے۔
یعنی 50٪ کام ایک طویل عرصہ پہلے مکمل ہو گیا تھا، لیکن بعد میں آنے والی حکومتوں نے بہت زیادہ بربادی کی۔

Wrong at that time kpk was part of punjab, it was separated in 1901 at that time 70 % of NWFP spoke hindko a dialect of Punjabi. The nwfp name was changed on 10 April 2010.
