Guitar nerd? The first guitar Dallas is using is a *stunning* Martin Custom Shop HD-28VS.
Dallas spoke about it further:
"This is the main acoustic guitar that I play. I’m a Martin Ambassador and, with that, you get to design your own guitar and they’ll build you it.
I’ve had this guitar ever since we started touring with this band over three years ago
“I just emailed Fred Green - who used to be head of the custom shop - a couple of ideas and let him run with it. I said I wanted a slotted headstock, a shorter scale neck and a Sunburst. I love it.
“I’ve had this guitar ever since we started touring with this band over three years ago now and it’s been used for every show. You can see where we capo it a lot because it’s wearing [the neck] and I love that too!”

If so, I agree. I was later discovering City and Colour, but a friend sent me Day Old Hate in 2010. First song on which I ever heard Dallas' voice. That song is now one of the most important songs in my life. I would love to hear it live one day!
@@justinsayswtf it was! I have such an appreciation and love for Dallas and his art. Back in 05’ I spent a lot of time on the road and I was introduced to “comin home.” This was back when people had MySpace and it was a friend of mines song on their page. It was an addiction after that. I literally have heard every song possible at least 1,000 times lol.
I saw City and Colour a few years back by myself and it was the best concert experience by far (and I’ve been to a lot of concerts lol)
Just saw him last night in NJ, so I'm watching this in an effort to relive it. lol. I love how he skips the 2nd verse in "Comin Home" and the little story, because sure enough, that's the one part I recorded on my phone last night.
The sound in that room was so beautiful it was phenomenal. He records beautifully but nothing is as amazing as City and Colour live. This was my favorite time seeing him so far! We traveled from Kansas City, Mo because that was as close he came to us this tour. This was my husband and I’s 3rd time seeing him.
I was very sad to hear of his friend’s passing! I did not realize who it was until after the show. I can’t imagine how difficult it was to get through the rest of the tour.
I am working on a City and Colour sleeve and really hope he signs it someday. 🥰🤞🏻

Trust me, if the artist wanted this taken down, it would have been done by now. Bootlegs of these types of intimate performances are a big part of an indie artist's career. Dallas Green is such a talented artist, that each of his performances is unique from one another, and these recordings are almost like a catalogue.
This is literally advertising as to how good Dallas is Live. Smh
